I play FF9... sadly, my favorite character isn unavaliable... I don't get that, why don't they let people use Beatrix?

I haven't played that one yet.....sorry can't help ya there. Although, I have played 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 10, 10-2. So anything about those I would know! 3nodding

Joao Franco I play FF9... sadly, my favorite character isn unavaliable... I don't get that, why don't they let people use Beatrix? Cuz she's more powerful than Steiner. xp Plus she has all that high-dmg attacks that would make things alot easier so they let you do it the hard way. xp

I know, I wouldn't really even mind if I had to reteach her the techniques, she's got a much better attitude and it's great seeing her kick-a**. She knows Holy and Full-life, for the love of christ.

Have you fought or beaten Ozma? You'll want Eiko in that battle... and about every life-keeping ability abaliable. He's hard as hell.
But if you're lucky, when he kills all your party members, if Eiko is the last to fall, sometimes she will cast Phoenix while unconscious.

I beaten Ozma although it took me several times to do so. sweatdrop But I used my first party in that battle since it was the strongest. Did you know if you beat Ozma first, then go to Hades, He's alot more stronger and faster. gonk

Unfortunately, I only heard about Hades AFTER I lost disc 4 scream ... did you ever get Excalibur 1 or 2? Because I've been working on it for a long time and I know how to get both just neither option opened up to me...
When battling Ozma, I hated curse and meteor. I blocked slow and confusion with clear headed and auto-haste and auto-regen and auto-life, but I can;t block mini... dammit, and meteor for Ozma always hits with 100% accuracy doing 9999 to my entire party... xp Once, Eiko held onto her auto life until that happened, she got back up with 1 HP and I made her cast Curaga... then he cast death on her... miraculously, that was the one where she used Phoenix as she died and I actually won...

xp I got Excalibur 1 but #2 is alot more of a challenge that I don't think I can survive. crying
I summoned Ark (a secret summon), had Vivi cast flare, Steiner use Shock, and Zidane his trance skills then regular attacking through the side quest: friendly monsters. It took awhile but it finally died. 3nodding

I has steiner use Shock, Eiko keep the party's status in good shape (when it was in good shape I used Holy), used Vivi's x2 reflect and auto-reflect, used Zidane to steal and when in trance used Solution 9 (Grand Lethal is 9999 to all enemies, Solution 9 is less MP consuming and does 9999 to one)... I once stole dark matter from him... and it does 9999 damage!
Why would you summon Ark? He's a dark usumon, and Ozma Absorbs dark to heal it! I had my party equipped with absorb dark/holy and worried only about magical defense, since Ozma had 0 physical attack.

When the dark side of Omza is on top, don't use dark magic. When the white side of Omza is on top, don't use holy magic.

No, he absorbs Dark regardless. I beat him using Flare, Holy, Shock, and Solution 9. All of the above did about 9000 to him.
