Alutian Hey, I just wanted to let my housemates know that I am in the Avatar Arena (my friend insisted on it) this week as a dragon. So if you want to go and take a look...Also, my friend [~Lam~] is in the arena as "Sandy Cheeks" from some sort of cartoon show called "Spongebob Squarepants". i'll vote for you and your friend!

Yeah, I think everyone's getting busy with school. sweatdrop I'm already quite stressed out...having several tedious assignments and a paper to write, all for next week. stressed
But hey, I'm a Ravenclaw, I should be able to handle this...I hope. xd

Speaking of school...I hate Literary Analysis essays. Really, I do. Books should be enjoyed, not picked over like a frog in a Biology class.

surprised I completely agree! In most cases anyhow. Sometimes during the analysis I may discover interesting little things that I may not have noticed otherwise. But if essays are involved, then it tends to spoil my experience with the book a bit. Eventually I'll get over it I guess. razz

Yeah. Just how is one supposed to find the theme in a very metaphorical book about someone's experiences living away from other people next to a quiet woodland pond and support it with evidence from the dryest, most factual expository book on the ecological history of New England you have ever seen? It's like trying to jam together two puzzle peices that don't fit and convincing someone that the blue peice does go with the red peice, even though they obviously don't!
Okay, rant over.
I hope the Duelling Club comes back up soon. I miss it.

I thought it would have started by now, otherwise it should be pretty soon (sorry, that sounds vague but that seems to be the only answer XD).
