 Mat nodded, then paused and also looked up. "And that means ... I'm supposed to kiss you, right?" he asked, a slight smirk coming to his lips.

 Ubel blushed and smiled shyly, nodding just once. "Yeah... yes, it does," he said quietly, shifting his weight a bit and stepping just a bit closer to Mat, feeling oddly eager for this kiss.

Mat let that smirk widen a bit and snaked an arm about the other's waist. He had no problem really with kissing Ubel ... just with Grave kissing him. But this wasn't the time to think about that. So he just lowered his head and pressed lips to lips - though he kept it fairly chaste.

Ubel swallowed hard, then closed his eyes slowly as the other pulled him close, gaze lingering on those lips as they came closer. As their lips touched in a chaste and rather innocent kiss, he smiled, curling his arms carefully around Mat as though he expected the other to push him away at any moment.

When he pulled back though, he didn't push Ubel away, letting them stay sort of half-holding each other like that. "You like that?" he asked after a moment, gold eyes meeting red ones.

The blush that had been previously on Ubel's cheeks darkened slightly and spread to his ears, as he nodded in response to Mat's question. "I do," he whispered, smiling sheepishly up at the other, meeting and holding that gaze.

 Antigone raised an eyebrow high on her forehead at the kiss that was taking place between Mat and Ubel. Well well... They were both rather pretty, and looked nice together. Laughing softly at her own thoughts, she leaned down to nuzzle at Aysel's neck. "I'm going to get some more hot chocolate, dear," she murmured, slipping the Melancholy reluctently off of her lap, before making her way to get more drink, her boots clicking merrily on the tiles of the floor.

Mat grinned and brought a finger up to run it along one of those cheeks. "Mm I can see that," he murmured, indicating the blush. He wondered idly just how dark he could get it ...

Ubel squeaked softly and closed his eyes halfway as that finger trailed down his cheek. His skin was dark enough to be almost black. "Sorry," he mumbled, smiling sheepishly at the taller boy. "M'easily embarrassed, it seems..."

"I can tell that too," he replied, lips quirking again. "Nothing to be sorry for though. Grave blushes too, sometimes. When I'm around." He said it in such a way that indicated he tried to get the other to blush.

"You enjoy making others blush?" asked Ubel, laughing softly and reaching up to take Mat's hand, carefully lacing their fingers together as he tried to calm down and will away his own blush, humming softly with the music for a moment.

Ubel squeaked softly at the sight of that smirk, eyes widening just a bit. "Ah... may I ask why?" he said softly, tilting his head just a bit and chirping quietly, lifting one hand to idly trace his own fingertips over his lips.
