Ryoku smirked and looked up from the floor. She was obviously an ANBU, from the mask she had. "Who says I was listen in your conversation? I'm simply waiting for my sensei to come back out." He slip his katana off of his back and laid it down in front of him. He looked away for a moment before looking back at the ANBU. "Besides, who are you to lecture me? You're not even from this village."

Minao grinned although you obviously couldn't see that. Damn I hate having to have her keep the stupid mask on! Lack of ability to convey facial expressions!!
Ahem. Anyway. Minao grinned. "Does being from this village even matter when I'm lecturing on pure manners?" she asked archly. "I'm older than you and have more experience in the ways of the world. I'm your sempai in a manner of speaking. You're probably a genin am I correct?"
She saw his katana. "A katana user, huh..." she mused. "I've fought a few of those in my time."

Daniel sighed when the ANBU and genin began to argue, he sat down again and looked at Ryoku "kid, i don't know if you are ale to recognize hitai ate's, but i think my shoulderplates clearly show the Kirigakure emblem." he pointed at his deepblue shoulderplates, which had yellow colored insigna's on them. he then threw his head back and nodded "and as long as she has a higher rank, she has in fact the right to lecture you, as a jounin i would know that kind of thing, right?"
he then looked at the ANBU again and offered his hand "Jikan Daniel, kirigakure Jounin, no need for mutual introduction since i'm familiar with the ways of the ANBU"

Minao was pleased and it showed in her light voice. "You're right, as per ANBU regulations I can't tell you my name. But you can refer to me as 'Cat'," she said and shook his hand. "Konoha ANBU, although you already knew that."
She looked at the door, frowning. "The Mizukage is sure taking her time..."
{Actually we have not finalised code names yet so 'Cat' can become 'Lynx' or 'Pretty girl' or 'Blue' but whatever.. xD}

Daniel smiled and threw his head back again "ah, she's probably in an important discussion, tends to happen from time till time eh..."
he picked out his Nin-cards again and shifted through them until he cme at some records from two years ago, he smiled and sighed "ah, i recall again, that ruin mission, i have been in the fire country once, two years ago, it was to capture a missing-nin from our village, holed himself up in a ruin in the southeast. i have to say, your country has a lot of trees and forests, it's nice, but i preffer open spots like the sea sometimes."

Minao smiled. "You've been in the Fire Country? That's interesting... I like your village," she said. "Although I don't feel that good close to the sea. But I suppose if I lived here I would be used to it."
She hoped that the Kage meeting would go well. She didn't want another war, much less with Kiri. "Say," she asked. "What is with your markets? Are they just not open to foreigners or something? Because I tried to buy some poisons but they just weren't open."

Daniel at right up again when he was asked the question about the village's poisons "then perhaps you just came at the wrong time, normally they're open to natives and foreigners alike, but last few days have been bad days for fishing, our poisons are marine based as you might have guessed, but we're just experiencing the yearly upstream, so we don't catch much."
he sighed and put his cards away again "the only poisons i could use the last few days were plant-based, and we don't have that many poisonous plants on the islands here."

Ryoku setlled down against the wall and crossed his arms across his chest. "Tch, ranks. Like they really influence or describe intellect..." He closed his eyes and set one leg out over his katana. Ryoku always worried that someone would try and take it from him. He opened one eye, and listened to the two talk. Nothing sounded too interesting to him really. "When's Reiko-sensei going to come out...? Maybe that woman will leave soon. Wait, no. That's an impossibility." He mumbled to himself.

Reiko walked into the room, archly ignoring the woman's lack of manners. Her manner was quiet as she listened to Sakaki's story. The Mizu-Iki? It sounded like something out of legend. But...Kusagakure had a resurrection technique? That could be...useful to say the least. Before she could formulate a response, Sakaki was gone. Once out of the woman's sight, Reiko's eyes narrowed, following her movement. The technique just to capture this child? There had to be something else that Sakaki wasn't telling her. But what?
Reiko's thoughts swirled, in her head as she walked to the door, almost running into Daniel and another strange shinobi. She halted immediately, her posture becoming ever-so stiff. Her face, however, was as tranquil as ever. "Oh...Hello." Her eyes flicked towards Daniel for reassurance. "Forgive me, I was not aware I had another guest." She sighed inwardly. This was the very reason she had cursed Pandora and her ridiculous letters. She was going to be forever stuck in the Office dealing with diplomatic issues instead of in the field dealing with Death. She looked sympathetically at Ryoku. "Dear, if you'll find Haruko in the Harbor. He's already been briefed. So you can both go ahead and start your mission, ok?" Her reasons were partially to get the poor child something to do. And partially to get him out of her office. She never imagined when she brought him here that there would be so many things to deal with that were obviously above his ability to handle.

Minao rolled her eyes as the kid spoke again. Actually, they did... but as she was about to ignore the kid and reply to Daniel, the Mizukage exited from the doors. Minao bowed to the Mizukage in respect after she finished talking. 'At least that kid would be gone...'
"Hello, Mizukage-sama," she greeted her. Then she went straight to the point. "Mizukage-sama, I have an important message to deliver to you personally from the Hokage-sama. To be honest it is not a life or death matter, but it is still important and I would like to do it in private."

Reiko closed her eyes in silent distress as the woman -- now obvious from her voice -- spoke. She was not the Mizukage, dammit! But it seemed that, for a while at least, she was going to have to act like it. She smiled sweetly at the woman, gesturing back into the office she had so recently left. "Please come in. I'm so sorry that you had to wait." She stepped back into the room, sinking into Pandora's chair. She sat stiffly, not feeling comfortable in the role that she had suddenly found herself thrust in. "Now, what is it that I can do for you?"

Daniel sighed when Reiko came out of the office, Pandora's subtitute was appearantly already mistaken for Kage, showed how much lack of knowledge some coutries had about the looks and appearances of other Kages. he sighed up when Reiko spoke to Cat and nodded "well, Reiko-sama, it seems you're busy again, i'll just wait then"

(Sorry Kouri. More than half of my characters are arrogant. ^^)
Ryoku stood up and slung his katana behind his back again. Finally, he'd be out of here and going to his mission. He spun around and walked to the door, waving back at the ANBU and Kiri shinobi. "I bet you two will be glad I'm gone, huh?" He smiled and walked outside, stretching his arms. 'So, stiff. I hate standing still...' he thought. He suddenly started to sprint back to the harbor. {Exit to Harbor}

{Lol ^-^ And noo! gonk Now daniel thinks Minao is an idiot emo }
Minao turned to Daniel and there was a genuine smile in her voice as she said, "Well, see you soon then, Jikan Daniel."
She followed the woman into the office. Looking at her, she noticed that the woman was not wearing the Mizukage hat and garb and slapped herself mentally. She'd heard rumours of the Kage going missing... but she neglected to say it and instead concentrated on the mission on hand.
"Well, I have a letter from Cerbi-sama. It goes like this:
"Dear Kages, I, the Hokage, am inviting you to one of the first hokage meetings. We will discuss any possible treaties, trades, and anything of the sort. The meeting will be held in two weeks, so the last day of this month. Hopefully this will be enough time for you to put a temporary replacement in if you need to. The metting wont be long, but I hope everyone can make it. Sincerely, The 16th Hokage, Cerbi." "
She looked at the woman. "Is there anything you would like to say in response to this invitation?" she asked politely.

[[Daniel just sighed about the lack of research some villages have sweatdrop when ivory became Kage, almost the whole Jikan clan knew about it the next day]]
Daniel smiled, nobody noticed he was actually a Kage bunshin, as soon as Minao and Reiko entered the office the clone stood up and went to the bathroom, a shadow followed it and when the clone was inside, it suddenly disappeared after having cheked if no-one was there, suddenly the real Daniel appeared and he walked outside again, sitting down where his clone had been.
he smiled, it seemed the ANBU his clone had spoken with was from Konoha, but that woman in the Mizukage's office definetely bugged him. he would check up on her identity later. he sighed, looking at the ceiling. this could be a long day.
