BaneTheSlayer But iin the picture in the Rule book it shows a Tau fire warrior with a Katana like weapon. That would be O'Shovah and his potent alien artifact weapon that he uses. He is the only Shas'o in a Crisis Suit that has a close combat weapon.

Yahiko_Meoshine Dubyamn Yahiko_Meoshine Dubyamn DarkElf27 is it true that their basic rifles have strenth 5? Yeah they can convibably take down a wraithlord with their basic guns. Kinda scary really. Definetely. Tau hurts... Oh yeah one of the only armies who I don't think I can get into a ranged battle with. So that leaves my guardsmen one option a good old banzai charge. Haven't played them yet though unfortunatly. *Laughs.* Don't ever charge Tau...They might not have any power weapons but their Kruet (It's spelled something like that.) Can hold you off long enough for all of their guns to be pointed at you and by the time the Kreut are gone, your gone too...All those guns just hurt like hell. Also they can target your tanks with their troops to fire off a Range N/A (Unlimited distance, all they have to do is mark where they want to hit with their Fire Warriors squad.),Strength 9, AP2 missle shot that is a small blast template. Those missles have to be attached to vehicles though, and only( ONLY, ha, only isn't the rigt word.) get four per vehicle. So just shoot up their vehicles to keep yourself from getting seeker missle spammed! sweatdrop

Not really. Ya' gotta' know when to sacrifice men to CC. They are tough unless the board is about 10 feet long.

The person got really pissed, it was hilarious.

NO! the tau empire doesnt even know if he's still alive or not, since the farsight encalves are all the way past the gulf, they think he's been over run by orks.

Actually that's not O'Shovah. Its a post- Kuju Fire Warrior armed with a set of swords in addition to his T'allisera bondage knife. The smaller knife is the T'allisera knife, and the bigger one is his close combat weapon. As for O'Shovah showing chaos corruption, that's up for debate. At least in his mind he's working for the Greater Good, even if the Aun disagree with what he's doing. The Tau don't have a very good concept of chaos to begin with, so corrupting them would be difficult at best. Most plots by Chaos to corrupt the tau involve Daemons possessing either tau commanders or ethereals.

They are meant to block you from assaulting fire worriors, and to tie you over till the next tau shooting phase.

Baratos Ive faced kroot in CC. I wipe them out in 1 or 2 turns, they are in no way impressive. i myself never use kroot, they are too weak for my standards, and my enemy usually just kills them all before they reach me, so they really aren't affective.

I always hide my assualt types behind terrainm until the enemy gets close enoughh for my guys to get safely in CC in one turn to avoi losses by shooting.

What is the orb in your avis hand, dark? And with tau, remember, if you get a good enough kroot squad in combat, you may be able to move back your fire line for one, maybe even 2 turns.
