Everyone I've known that has had the shot has gotten sicker than they had ever been. I'm afraid to get one, even when we had a bunch available for free at work.

ok...now i know i will probably sound stupid for asking this but why dont they make enough to give out to everyone? why only make a limited supply?

Because that would be just too easy wouldn't it?
in the UK there is now no flu vaccine left...

i personally havent ever had the shot...but my kids have...at least until this year...every place here is out....i am worried about them getting it..especially stephanie...last year she got that rsv and was in the hospital for a week...that was also when her fever shot up to 105 and she had a fever ceasure(sp?)....she is like me and gets sick very easily sad

I get sick pretty easily too. My roommate was sick on Thanksgiving and still is battling this flu bug. It's awful and I'm just praying I don't get it. It's not something I want to go through.

that is how it was for me....granted i was sick before thanksgiving..but seems my sister had a virus on thanksgiving..and when we all got together well...stephen got it first..and now me...so i am looking for it to spread threw us all....i am having to keep gingerale in him and trying to give it to jake and stephanie..just in case sweatdrop

Yes it's very important to drink lots of fluids so you don't get dehydrated. That's not good.

i am trying...it it very hard when you have some picky eaters/drinkers.....but luckily they were all taking it tonight sweatdrop ....my mom is sick too..said the saem thing you are rue..to drink plenty cause it will dehydrate you in no time....i would appreciate if you alll would send some healing vibes to my kidlets so they all get better soon...thankies so much heart

I remember the first year I got the shot, I got SICK! But that was over and ever since, knock on wood, I get a mild if any cold. That is mainly due to my allergies. I don't know what would happen to me if I didn't get the flu shot now. I don't want to know either...

Butterfly, will your kids drink pedialite? It's a lot better for keeping hydrated than ginger ale. Even try to get Stephen to drink it--it's good for adults too.

the lemons, especially, look yummy... well I am embarking on an eating plan that involes a certain amount of egg, avacado, and CITRUS fruit each day so we will see how long lemons look good to me rofl
