When she asked, something sparked in Gray, like a long-forgotten memory and his mind was overtaken with the origonal idea of keeping his past secret.
"Uh... well, no, not... uh, not really. I'm not that good." He quickly said, half-realizing that she could have easily seen him from the crowd. "I, uh, just heard the music and decided to try and play along with it..."

*Shalen looked a little surprised, she wasn't sure if Gray was trying to be modest or hide something, but either way, she decided it would be best to play along, seeing the way he reacted.*
"Oh! welll, whoever it was, they were quite good. I've never heard anyone play like that, it was really pretty. I've never been musically talented." She said with a laugh.

Gray smiled, "It dosn't take talent, it takes practice. I've been playing all my life, so of course I'm good..." He trailed off when he caught himself. Before Shalen could ask anything more about the violin, he added, "I wanted to tell you the good news. I've already decided which temple to join! I didn't think I'd be able to fit in so quickly to this town, but I was mistaken."

"OH yeah! I uh...I guess I have toi confess as well. I've kinda chossen a temple as well. Speaking of that. Jayden's sword has gone missing and he asked me to ask you if you've seen it, seeing how you went to the Chaos temple earlier." She said in a friendly tone, even though she wanted ot be mad at him for even thinking of going over there.

Gray stopped for a moment, "Oh, so you ARE in with the Order, huh? That's kind of too bad. I went to the Temple of Chaos. After I realized that the name was nothing more than that, I figured it was a good idea. I mean, everybody there is very nice. I was actually hoping that you would join as well, seeing as how you're the first friend I've ever made outside of my old group..." He again trailed off.
He then glanced to the sword at his side and realized that the blade she was talking about was the very one he now called his own. At first, he wanted to tell her that he thought the Order had given it to him, but for some reason he did just the opposite, and try and hide it by pulling it back and behind him.

*Shalen noticed him pull the sword behind him. She felt dissapointed, but he did say she was the first friend he'd had, but at the same time, she wanted to confront him. It took her a moment to talk, not really sure what she should say.*
"....Well if you see it, let me know. Jayden is really concerned about finding it, I don't know what he'll do if he doesn't get it back. Seeing as we're friends you'll let me know if you see it will?" She said, feeling bad for not confronting him, but at the same time, she wanted to be friends with him.
"Sorry to have not joined you in the Temple of Chaos, I guess it just happened to work out this way." She said, wanting to run away and cry, because she felt torn between the Temple of Order and Gray.
I found your sword Jayden, Gray has it. I think it is what allowed him access to the Temple of Chaos.

Gray frowned and nodded a bit, "Yeah, that's too bad. Of course, we can still be friends." Of course, his words sounded slightly empty as at the same time, he thought to Nilti, This sword isn't stolen, is it? Because if it is, then it's former owner knows that it was taken by our temple. He made sure to describe Jayden as the 'former' owner, as Gray had no intention of returning it any time soon.

Really, that would not be unlike the Chaos to trick someone into their Temple like that. I will be over shortly, as soon as these Chaos troublemakers are gone.
Is that a fact Gray. I like the fact you said former, return at once to the Temple. He will try to take his sword back, by force or otherwise, from you. I suggest using haste, for he can not pass by our gates guarding out Temple.

Gray nodded to nobody once again (it was a habit he'd have to break). Then to Shalen, he said, "Well, It was good seeing you again, but I'd better get going."
He immediately turned around and began to hurry back to the Temple of Chaos without waiting for a response from Shalen.

*Shalen managed to catch up with him and pulled on his sleeve gently.*
"Is there something wrong? Did I say something to offend you?" She siad looking completely worried.
"If I said anything to make you mad at me, please tell me." She said as if she was about to cry. (Mostly from telling on him earlier.)

Jayden saw that Gray was hurried in his escape, so he chased after him.
"Wait! Stop! Thief! Give me back the sword that is rightfully mine!"

Gray looked down to Shalen and then up to the approaching Jayden. "I-I'm sorry, it's not you..." He said quickly, pulling out of her grasp and beginning to run. Over his shoulder, he shouted "I didn't steal anything! This sword was given to me!"

"You Chaos scum never face us Order members in battle! You are all a bunch of cowards! I will have your head Chaos member!"
Jayden ran to Shalen.
"You know that guy, well at least one of you turned out right. That guy belongs with the Chaos filth. He is a no good swidler and deserves to die once Prophet arrives."

*Shalen watched Gray run to the Temple, she wasn't going to stop him. She felt more guilty about telling on him than anythign else. She then looked to Jayden shocked.*
"I don't think he meant to, he's been different from the last time I've seen him. I think it was the temple that did it to him. Don't blame him...please." She said pitifully, not knowing what to do. Her loyalties felt torn between her friend and her temple.
