Nomis nodded as her sister hurried past with Aquos, and wrinkle dher nose slightly at them. She debated going for a swim, but decided sleep would be more important, and curled up just inside the cave, a few feet form her mother, for a nap.
((Hey Mira do we want to enter Karounos and Naida for some cubbies?))

Santos watched as everyone flocked into the cave to see the cubs. He didn't mind it too much, he just hoped that they would all have enough since to stay quiet so they could sleep.
Arsenic saw Daviegh bolt across the lands and looked over to Nimbus, who did the same. There was only one thing that a rushing Daveigh and Zeeza could mean. Without a word he rocketed towards the caves, Nimbus close behind. The new cubs had been born.
Nimbus chased after his brother. Michuru had climbed up onto his shoulder somwhere along the way and informed him about the cubs. The pride sure was getting large. He could only hope the pride he planned on starting would do the same.

The grey cub walked silently up to the cave entrance, his paws making almost no sound. Spotting Aquos he came to sit beside him. "So...I guess it's happened? The new cubs, I mean." His ears perked up as Nomis walked by. Pink colored eyed studied her before turning back to Aquos. "Y'know.....I wonder if she's ok..... She looks like she's always sad....." Like me.... The thought was unbidden, but it came up all the same. He kept his eyes downcast, all too willing to just stay by Aquos' side.

Sienna lay down beside her mother, and looked a Mikhail, "Yeah, they look like little furballs." She giggled, as her mother looked at her and smiled, but then turned to watch Nomis. "She's always been quiet, usually didn't want to play with me or Yukio, usually goes off on her own....Say, why don't you go talk to her? I'm sure she wouldn't mind talking to you at all."

Aquos nuzzled under Mikhail's chin. "Cheer up bro." he said as he smiled at his friend. The bond the two cubs shared had gotten so strong, Aquos began to refre to Mikhail as his brother. "If you want, I'll go with you so you can say hi to Nomis."

He would've blushed red if his fur wasn't hiding it. His pink eyes looked over the sleeping form of Nomis for a moment. He looked from Aquos to Sienna, then stared at the floor, curling his tail around his paws and hunching up a bit. "I....wouldn't know what to say....."

Aquos smiled at Mikhail. "Try to find out what she likes. Get to know her. Mabye she'll teach you how to swim like a water lion...Heck, you might even come to like her!" *he chuckled.

He eyed Aquos, but kept silent. Perhaps he should after all. For some reason he seemed more dejected than usual. "Teach me to swim, huh...." If not for him, then for her. No one should feel as he felt, and he didn't want someone who had a family to have to suffer such sadness as she seemed to. As he stood to walk over to her he felt a piece of him rip anew, though he was too young to figure out why. Silent footsteps drew him over to her and he curled up a few feet away from her sleeping form. He would wait for her to awaken, laying there by her.

Aquos was really glad that Mikhail wanted to go see Nomis without his help....But of course he kep an eye on him. Aquos let out a yawn before walking over to Sienna and laying down beside her.

Sienna nuzzed him softly, giggling a bit at the yawn. "You know...I hope they become friends," she said, looking at the two cubs from where she lay. "Maybe it'll cheer them both up, and things will be happier again."
Naida lay her head on her paws, merely listening to the cubs, but she knew and understood what Sienna meant by her comment about happiness. Things hadn't been the same the last few months, with Yukio's attitude change, then having to be sent away, the continued silence and solitude of her youngest daughter...it had even affected Sienna a bit, though with her strong bond with Aquos, at least she'd always had a friend to keep her spirits up. She hoped Nomis and Yukio could eventually find the same, but until then, she wasn't sure what she should do. Should she talk to Nomis? Try and figure out what's wrong, or just...let her be? It was hard to be a mother, that much she knew was a fact.

Nomis's light sleep was gently interrupted as her ears caught the sound of another lying down beside her. She opened bleary eyes to Mikhail - she was surprised, but kept that hidden - and gave a yawn. What should she say? "Hello," she finally managed, cocking her head at him slightly. Sad eyes... Such sad eyes he had! She kept the thought to herself, tough. She knew nothing about him - no need to go and make assumptions.

He bowed his head in greeting. "Hullo.... I'm sorry if I woke you up. You seemed tired so I was trying not to." His pink eyes looked to the floor shyly. "You can continue resting, if you want. Or, if you want...." His eyes looked up to Aquos and Sienna the turned away again. "...We can go talk." He turned to her with sad honesty. "For some reason I really think....you and me...are alot alike."

A small smile came to her lips, "It's all right - I don't need much sleep." It was true - her insomnia hadn't faded with age, and she needed little sleep to be energetic. But her mind was far from that topic. His last sentence engraved itself into her mind, and her small outward smile was much larger on the inside. "Sure," she replied quietly, glancing to Aquos and her sister - were the three of them playing a trick on her? Well, if they were, they'd get their laughs...

He stood and waited for her to lead, not allowing his natural shyness to overcome him. "Where would you like to go? Oh? Have you seen the new cubs yet?" He wasn't very adept at conversing, but he was giving his best.

She stood as well, shaking off and stretching out as she nodded, "Yes, they're very cute." she started to lead him from the cave, "I... know a place you might like." She had never brought anyone to her secret oasis. It was so far from the den her father rarely went near it while he patrolled. It seemed to dodge the radar of anyone who didn't need it, and she idley wondered if it was a magical oasis, for those who needed to get away. Though... Arsenic had never seen it. And he was like her when he was a cub. But then again...
She stopped her mind from wandering too far, and looked to see if Mikhail was following or if Aquos and Sienna and he were laughing at her.
