I took Japanese 1 last school year and now Im in Japanese 2. but I may quit after this since my sensei isnt really taking us anywhere as far as lessons. we've been in the same section for 3 weeks now! but at least we learned SOME kanji.

I live in Hawaii, surrounded by nothing but ocean.

I only watch AdultSwim and post on their evil message boards just to past time (slowly)

I listen to anime and videogame soundtracks and read as much manga as possible.

My name is Rebecca, and I've been teaching myself Japanese for the past 3 years or so. I already taught myself French, and am now working on Russian...
I'm really good with grammar, but vocabulary isn't my strong point...If anyone knows any tricks for that, please let me know.

Nakatake desu. douzo yoroshiku onegai itashimasu. (YES that is right, itashimasu is a humbling way of saying shimasu scream )

I'm full Japanese and I love speaking it. I am not fluent, but I can read and write it to extents as well as speak at a semiconversational/formal level.

Hi I'm Ryuunoumi and I understand a little japanese. konnichi wa, minasan means hello everyone just to let you know. all the japanese I know is self tought, there is no place near me that teaches japanese crying , too bad. I've been studying for a few months now and I had a japanese penpal for a while but she stoped writing. Well I hope to talk to everyone soon and hopefully someone would like to have private chats in japanese to increase our skills. If anyones interested just mail me!

P.S. I don't know if the last sentence is right, I mean to say that I know a little japanese, I left out watashi wa because if the subject is already known that is inappriate(sp?) to say I,I,I over and over again like in english. If anyone knows how to correctly say the phrase please let me know, If its not right as it is.

Hello, my REAL name will not be posted but you can all call me Eyosakura or Eyo. I'm a Graphic's Design major at Community college and am currently taking Japanese 3. Reasons I joined this guild are to get help and possibly help others. Japanese 3 is drawing to a close actually and so over the winter I'll be studying for Japanese 4, so I hope I can get help from any of those who are willing and able, and I hope I can actually help any of you.

NOTE: I'm thinking about retyping all my Japanese notes on my computer and turning them into a PDF file for download and my own convience, but I'm lazy and busy a lot so if anyone thinks I should just PM me about it and maybe it'll help motivate me.
