Shokan now closed his eyes and began to think. I can do this, I just need to make sure everything goes smoothly, this is one of the last jutsu here of course it's going to be hard, to control someone with chakra alone is going to be hard no matter what, so I need to reamin strong and make sure I don't give in to these pressures. I will come through I'm almost done. He opened his eyes and activated his Kujaku Myouhou, "This time I'm going to do it no matter what I do." He looked around the crowd for someone to test his ability on. He scanned over a few people and found a large man, very muscular. He had found his target.

Shokan had activated his Kujaku Myouhou so this was the moment of truth he sent out his feathers and they wrapped around the man perfectly. The man began to dance, as Shokan had wanted he tried to fight but was overtaken by the chakra. He let the man go and time for the victory dance, he jumped up and down and spun around, "I Completed yet another Jutsu!" Hokatu looked at him, "Congradulations." Hokuto walked up to him, "Only one more to teach you for nbow." Shokan nodded, he couldn't wait to learn it, he also couldn't wait to return to konoha.

Hakuto looked at shokan, "follow me." He said as he began to walk away from the village and it's people to the same moutain as he learned form Sammaru. "You will learn the absoption technique, any time your chakra from the pecock meathod is used and you activate this technique as well, you will absorb their chakra depending on how long you are in contact with the opponent." Shokan nodded in understandment, "Just remember that this will need to stay in contact with you in roder for it to work. So when you use the fireball it will be hard to launch and still have this attached at the same time."

Shokan understood this, but he was willing to learn. "Okay how do you do it then?" Hokuto began to explain, "YOu do it by as your chakra hits their body....well let me start diffrently. You know how there is an aura of chakra around a person at all times?" Shokan nodded, "Well when your chakra touchs that it aoutmatically make it your chakra, and as the chakra is absorbed more must come to the outside of the body in order to remain stable. Shokan nodded and he continued, "So if you blopck an attack with your bare hands, it leaves you wide open for the absorption." Shokan nodded witha smile on his face.

Shokan nodded,"okay so if I use the tail to choke someone I can absorb their chakra and kill them at the same time...so it's like a double fatal hit!" Hokuto nodded, "Yes exactly, but like I said it is difficutl to learn to do, and it takes extra chakra to do, so if you do it too often you'll waste yourself." Shokan nodded, "Okay I get it." Shokan activated his Kujaku Myouhou and launched a feather and Toji and wraped it around him and then did the jutsu, but barely got any chakra. "What's going on?" he realesed Toji, "I didn't get almost anything." Hokuto looked at Shokan, "You need to put more chakra into the draining as well as the attack itself."

Shokan nodded slowly. yet again there isn't enough control to put alot in without being worried abotu over doing it. Shokan looked back to Hokuto, "IF you take too much chakra will the opponent die?" Hokuto said, "Well it's certainly possible." Shokan nodded. Hokuto continued, "But you'd have to but more chakra into the sucking then the attack itself, which would make the attack easily counterable or dodgeable so it proably wouldn't work. But then again you could start the attack out strong and the sucking weak and gradually switch the two entierly so by the time it is weak the person has almost no chakra left." He paused, "SO yes it is possibl to do so, it would just take practice, and luck."

Shokan activated his Kujaku Myouhou again and sent a feather over to Toji again. Her wrapped it around him gently but not so it was totally touching his skin and put alot of chakra into the sucking and got alot without even really touching him. He let Toji go, "Okay I definately got the hang of it now." Hokuto nodded, "Yes for a target that is letting you take it from him, don't underestimate your opponent or overestimate yourself. That could be a fatal mistake for any Shinobi." Shokan nodded, he knew that, he had always known, but there is a diffrnece between determiation and being cocky.

Hokuto nodded to himself, "All right lets start the final test we're going to spare. You're going to be defensive and only take my chakra, nto attack at all." Shokan nodded. "Well then lets begin." Shokan activated his Kujaku Myouhou as did Hokuto Hokuto charges at shokan and shokan grabbed the leg that Hokuto kicked at him with and sent one feather at him but he blocked it with his arm and Shokan began to absorb it, but got kicked in the head for paying more attention to the sucking then the battle he let go and jumped back. "Not so easy is it Shokan?" Hokuto said with a smile.

Shokan made a quick nod and awaited the next attack. Hokuto used a feather to attack with and shokan blocked with a feather of his own and crushed it with the choking technique and Hokuto's feather disintegrated and reformed on him. He launched 3 of the feathers this time and Shokan did the same manuever again. Hokuto now charged and sent 4 of the feathers, Shokan did the same with the feathers and blocked his charges. Hokuto leapt back and Shokan charged Hokuto. He caught Hokuto by surprise and Shokan leapt into the air and launched 3 feathers at him Hokuto blocked, but shokan instead of attack grabbed him in the diffrent locatoins with his fathers and rapidly obsorbed chakra. "Okay okay you win." Hokuto said while trying to catch his breath. "A ninja must see through deception." Shokan said with a strait face, he had gained a little confidence along with his new skills.

Nova arrived before the savage sentinnel of the star village. The giant rift that surrounded the village, filled with horribly deadly poison gas. It was known only as Hell's Ravine. It was used as a defense for the star village from attacking nations, anyone who wished to steal their prized meteorite. Nova had heard stories about this star, the power it held with itself. But he had also heard of the painful side effect that had been occurring to its users. His eyes squinted through his glasses to scan its confines. Inside he saw a figure emerging from its depths.

"Who wishes to enter the star country?"
The figure had appeared from it's submerged location in the depths of Hell's Ravine and had already begun addressing him formally.
"I am Akahoshi. Who may you be."
His voice distuinguished him as a male, as he restated his inquisition. Nova spoke in a calm whisper through his veil to the man.
"I am Nova Yakushi. Thats all you need to know for now." Information was power, Nova did not want to be overwhelmed.
"Very well. I expect you tell me more before I escort you to the star."
Novas eyes' pupils expanded at this statement. How did this man know what he was after?

"Don't be alarmed Nova. Your not the first to come to seek the star's power. Many others have came before you, and many more will come after. This training you seek; I'll gladly administer it for you. Hopefully you'll survive."
Nova nodded, dancing with death was his specialty. A medical ninja must be able to operate with full precision at any given instance. It was his way of the shinobi. It was everyone's way of the shinobi. Nova brushed some dust off of his pants and approached Akahoshi more directly. He held out a handsign and before long , large purple feathers made of chakra sprouted from his back.

Nova gazed in wonderment as the purple wing like feathers emerged from its patraint's back. He began to think of the possibilities with this amazing ability. Was this the true power of the star? He could see why they would gaurd such a thing now. His chakra hightened a bit in excitement and Akahoshi took notice.
"We should get you into the village. The earlier we start the training, the earlier I can put your body into a grave."
Nova pouted with that comment. His face spoiled quickly before he advanced to a touching distance of Akahoshi. Akahashi put his hands together again and his feathers formed large wings. He then took a hold of Nova and hoisted him into the air, their destination; the star village.

As he legs sprawled and dangled helplessly in the air currents at their altitude, he took notice of his surroundings. Looking back he could see the small forest he had crossed after leaving the docks to get to Star Village. The small wildlife was still bumbling about, unaware of the power that lay ahead. Then he changed his view to below himself, where he faced down into the poisonous death trap known as Hell's Ravine. Akahoshi could easily dispose of him by dropping him in it. Atleast from the intelligence that Akahoshi knew. Nova would simply levitate himself out of the area. Also, the gas would not bother him due to his filter veil. As they progressed in their journey, he noticed the small star village, wornstruck and worrysome.

Nova had grown tired and overworked with training. It seemed pointless for himself, he was already very capable for the Chunin Exams. Skills were nothing without battle tacticts. As far as he was concerned, he was more than cocky about his battle skills. He had successfully fended off a Jounin, only to be stopped by another one. The thrill , the urge, the craving for battle was coming on again as they landed on star village soil. He wanted to battle more then ever right now. Nova had seen much suffering and pain in his lifetime, but not much on his own part. He wanted to fight someone equal to himself. Someone he could battle with, and compete with. Thats when he remembered Hurdy of the Hidden Sand. They had both executed well in the invasion. There were many other Genin who did so as well.
