After Olber's little trip. He got to his feet. He glanced a the manticore that was asleep in the hall. He shurgged and walked around.
His ears perked up when he heard a voice. He saw another person near the Netherworld hospital. Still semi soggy, he apporched this person and poked him on the shoulder.
"Hey!" Olber the scout called out, "What happned to ya?

Achan The messenger opens his eyes wide in surprise, and takes a few steps back, making sure to grab Suzy's arm in the process. "Well now. I suppose we should get going." "Aww... but Laharl-sama--" "Bye!" With a quick wave, the messenger turns on his heel and bolts for the portal. (Hey all! Been busy and vanished from the face of Gaia for a while! I'll try to make it a habit to check the forums once a day from now on...maybe.) Having finished repairing the mess made before the departure of Achan and her team, Saegil goes back to his usual post at the top of the castle gateway, watching the scenery and being lazy, being totally oblivious to the going-ons just inside the castle. He finally lays down on the edge of the castle wall, with one set of his arms and legs hanging off the side. "Jess," looking over to a female brawler,"Terry," looking over to a scout, "wake me up if you see anything." Jess- Sleeping again? stare Terry- No problem sir! xd

Kilik Kane "Hey!" Olber the scout called out, "What happned to ya? Rosenfeld didn't particularly feel like turning his head at the moment, so he wound up speaking towards the counter instead of the mini-scout who had just asked the question. "I got bored, so I went out to the Jotun Drifts and started fighting random monsters on one of the icebergs. Turns out just because a buddy and I can take six guys no trouble doesn't mean I can take three. I finished 'em all, but they took a few organs out of me. Damn things weren't even carring enough Hell to cover my bill. I had to pawn one of my old Captain Asmodeus figures." Of course, it had enough collector value that I'm set for the next four years, but I really wanted to keep all my childhood stuff. Man, I had that thing under glass for the last four centuries.A light blinked on above the counter. "And those would be my new limbs and innards. See ya 'round, kid." He walked into the hospital, still dragging the axe.

Olber tilted his head and watched the warrior disspear into the clinic. He decided to follow.
"Hey! Next time, can I come in battle with ya? I can kick some a**. I may got a bad scar over my eye, but I can help!"
Olber felt perky and hyper. Maybe this warrior can journey with him.
"What's that place like? I only been to some hot place."

The scout gulps and nods. He looks over his shoulder and blinks once, twice... and the illusions of the empty plain of sand fade away, revealing a very ruined city.
"I-in the castle," he says, pointing to a tall castle just beyond the crumbled buildings. "That's where he is."

Zhuul, the gatekeeper, yawns and blinks as he sees new people enter and the messenger leave.
"What... uh... whatever... Welcome to Achan's castle, or something..."

Olber grew bored. After talking to that warrior, the little scout decided to look around the castle.
He adjusted his goggles and ran a finger on his scar. He felt hungry also. Very hungry. Travaling in the rain and in a dark, spooky forest gave him a ravenous hunger.
His stomach grumbled and he gripped it.
"Damn, I'm straved, the little scout said. He dug in his pockets of his vest for some snacks or loose gold. Gold for buying something to eat at this place.
He was bored, hungry, wet and frustrated. However.. he waited for this "Rosenfeld" fellow.

Thats wasn't so hard was it." he says as he starts leading the way to the castle wanting to get out of this aera ASAP

Selene looked at the castle, then at the scout, then at the castle.
"Good boy, now..."
She slammed her staff into the back of his head, hopefully knocking him out. Selene looked at Abyss and pointed at the scout.
"Oh yea, he should come with us..."
She looked at Achan, smiling innocently.
"...right Mistress?"

A little flashing red light over one of the hospital room suddenly stopped, then was replaced by a green bulb. The little red light was kind of jealous over this.
In any case, an extremely healthy-looking warrior booted the door open and strode out, hoisting his axe effortlessly and singing the opening lines of "You Shook Me All Night Long". 'Feld was grinning ear-to-ear, like one of the "beneficiaries" in an Enzyte ad.
Yes, thanks to the expertise of the hospital's surgeons, he was a whole warrior again, his brain surging with bad innuendos to spout at the next female to cross his path. Unless it was the Overlordess. He had heard she didn't take kindly at all to that stuff.
Once the testosterone rush wore off, it ocurred to him that that Olber kid was still hanging around. Hadn't the little dude offered to lend a hand in fights...?

Olber looked up at Rosenfeld and gave a fangy grin.
"You're whole again!" He crowed happily, ignoring his grumbling gut, "If ya fight some bad guys, can I come with? Please? I can shoot them monsters!"
Olber slowed his speed talk down.
"Hey, what's your name? I'mc alled Olber! I'm a scout.. Though I am kinda young."

There were three things going through Rosenfeld's mind at the moment.
1: Hey, this kid could be pretty handy.
2: Was that someone's stomach growling just now? I could really use a burger.
3: I want to get me some woman RIGHT NOW.
Luckily for the ladies in the castle, 1 and 2 won out.
"Sure, ki- Olber. You can tag along when I head out. Anyone can, as long as they don't try to hog the whole take. I'm getting some food. You want some?"

"Yeah!" Olber the scout excalimed. "What do we have to eat here? I could eat anythin'!"
The little scout followed Rosenfeld over to a area where they can get food.
"After this, are we goin' to kick some badguy butt?" For a young scout, He was pretty excited.
