 Larxene gasped and choked several times, still clinging tightly to Sora as she struggled to get her balance again. She looked at him incredulously for a moment as he said it was fun, gradually breaking into a little smile when she realized he wasn't mocking her. "Your shirt," she mumbled after a minute. "It was tangled on my arm and I was trying to fix it and ..." The girl blushed a bit, looking embarassed by her performance. "Sorry." As she shifted in the water, it'd likely be apparent to Sora the shirt she was refering to was clinging to her as tightly as she was clinging to him.
Larxene glanced over at Demyx. "You can't float us out of the water or something?" she asked, only half-joking.

 Demyx watched them worriedly, both ears perked and listening to make sure they were okay. As soon as they started talking he breathed a sigh of relief. They were fine, that was good!
His head tilted a bit at Larxene's words.
"Well, I don't have wind powers...so I can't float you out of the water, buuuut I can use the water to float you around!"
Demyx grinned, and within moments the water beneath Larxene and Sora was gently pushing up. The motion would float the two comfortably, and safely, above the water. It wasn't really a pillar, just enough of an upwards push to keep them floating.
Unfortunately, Demyx didn't exactly have the qualities required to be a good multi-tasker. While concentrating on making sure his friends were comfortable, he completely forgot to hold back the water level. Seconds after helping the other two, Demyx found himself completely underwater from the water he had tried to hold back.
For a few moments he was completely out of sight, but soon enough he popped up near Larxene and Sora, grinning. His trip underwater didn't seem to phase him at all.

Sora wrapped his tail around Larxene's waist. "Next time, wait til you're at the other side of the pond and can get out of the water to adjust things. You might get hurt..." Sora had a worried tone.
Sora's eyes widened as Demyx rose Larxene and himself above the water. Hey this is kind of...uh oh... Sora noticed the sudden rise in the water. "Larxene keep your head up!" Sora turned his head back to see if Demyx was alright, there was no sign of him. Sora held his breath as the water sloshed around, making sure he wouldn't swallow any more.
As the water settled Sora lifted Larxene onto the bank and looked around for Demyx, who had just risen out of the water next to him. "Demyx, you ok? What happened?!"

Larxene was distracted for a moment as they started to rise up out of the water, abruptly feeling uncomfortable and out of control, though the motion was smooth enough. She continued clinging to Sora, nodding vaguely at his admonishment, then gasping as the water level started to rise.
She looked worriedly at the hplace Demyx should have been as Sora stuck her back on the bank. "I guess I should have said 'if you could float us safely!'" she said, looking concerned as Demyx surfaced. She figured Sora had the other covered, in case he needed immediate help, and turned her attention briefly to the fact she was rather cold all of a sudden. Larxene glanced down at herself and quickly realized Sora's shirt wasn't leaving much to the imagination anymore, now that it was soaking wet. The girl quickly folded her arms over her torso. "Meep!"

"I'm fine!"
Demyx grinned at them both. The water was one place he'd never really get hurt, but their concern was nice. At least they worried about him. The sitarist stepped out of the water and onto the bank, tail swishing happily behind him.
"I err....guess that was a lot to concentrate on...heh..."
He nervously scratched at the back of his head, panting slightly. Honestly it was a lot to concentrate on, and the events of the past had not only screwed with his memories of time, but his memories of his powers as well. When he got his full memory and control back it would be easy, but now...yeah...a bit too much for him.
"Sorry...."
Demyx had noticed Larxene's shirt issue, but again the problem with it seemed to fly right over his head.

"Demyx why don't you go relax a bit? You look worn out. Sorry for pushing you so much. I guess controlling water must be harder than it looks!" He laughed a bit, trying to keep the mood a good one.
Sora hopped up on the bank and sat next to Larxene, curling his tail around her to cover up her 'obvious' problem. "That was something else, huh Larxene? Oh well, we are all okay, that's good atleast, right?" Sora looked at Larxene's face and laughed a bit as the water dripped off her. "Having fun yet?"

Larxene offered Demyx another little smile, indicating he didn't need to apologize for anything. "You did your best," she said, eager to turn attention away from herself and her predicament.
The girl snuggled into Sora's tail readily - more readily than she might have otherwise had she not been trying to cover up. She shook her head a little, sending droplets of water flying around. "Oh yeah. Lots of fun. I'm cold too," she said, sounding a little sour. It wasn't so much that she was irritated with the question as she was embarassed about her slip up, as the blush in her cheeks showed.

"It's alright...I'll be fine!"
Demyx walked off towards the tree where he had left his coat. While the other two were wet and cold, the water seemed to run right off of Demyx. It was most likely another little trick he had picked up. By the time he had reached his coat he was nearly completely dry, his hair the only thing still wet.
He quickly slipped his coat back on and zipped it up before returning his gaze to the other two.
"Err...need some help drying off?..."

As Larxene snuggled into his tail Sora let out a light purr sound. "Aww come on Larxene, you know you enjoyed it!" He said as he fluffed his tail around her, trying to keep her warm. The blush on her face made his grin return. She -so- had fun.
Sora's ears twitched sending water droplets flying in different directions as he heard the sound of Demyx's return. "Help? Uhh...sure, do you have towels or something?"

Larxene's blush increased a bit as Sora purred. There was a definite perk to being wrapped up in his tail, even if it did feel a little embarassing. "Towels would be good," she said, nodding. She folded her tail over her legs to keep those warm as well, pondering who it was she came to find herself half-dressed and soaking wet with two relative strangers. You're slipping girl. Next thing you know I'll be in a dress.

"Towels? Nahhh I got something better!"
He walked over to the other two, grinning.
"Why use a towel? They take so long...this'll be much faster, promise!"
He raised his paws, pausing a moment (perhaps for dramatic effect?), before dropping them quickly. The water on Sora and Larxene seemingly fell with the paw motion, pooling at their feet.
"Better?"

"Whoa...Thanks Demyx!" After Demyx's 'magic' trick, Sora's tail fluffed out. "Oh goody! I look like a feather duster! Atleast my tail has a double use now though!" He laughed a bit. "Want to go get your coat Larxene?" Sora said as he started to uncurl his tail from around her.

Larxene gasped a little as the water drained off of her and she stared at the puddle a moment before giving Demyx an approving nod. "Now that's a neat trick," she said, offering a little smile. "Nice."
Her smiled faded a bit as Sora's tail threatened to abandon her, though as she glanced down she realized the shirt had fluffed up again. The girl nodded and hopped to her feet. "I'll get it. I think I'll feel more comfortable in that than in the pond," she said, smirking a bit. "Though you'll have to wait until I have it on to get your shirt back." She headed off for the bushes again to change, grabbing her coat as she went.
In a few moments, Sora's shirt would appear hanging over the top branches.

Demyx grinned at them both, tail happily swishing around behind him. He had helped his new friends, and both seemed quite thankful that he did.
But why couldn't he shake this weird feeling Sora gave off? Something just wasn't quite right...
Pushing aside the thoughts for now, Demyx watched Larxene walk off. Once the female was in the bushes and out of sight, the sitarist turned back to Sora.
"So...you really know me? From before and stuff?"

Sora watched Larxene as she walked away, trying to turn away would prove to be impossible. His vision of her was obscured as she passed behind the bushes. Shaking his head a bit to regain his composure he heard Demyx speak. "From before? Yup! I know you, and Axel, and Saix, and Luxord, and Xigbar, and Xemnas, and Xaldin, and Roxas! You know all of those guys right? I remember seeing you all together a bunch of times. I know there are more of you, like Larxene, but I can't remember who they were. But you and Larxene seem like good guys now. I just met Larxene though...but I could have sworn I had met her before, along with the others that I can't remember. Oh well! Why bother remembering when things are better now? Besides, we're friends, nothing will change that." Sora smiled and held out his paw. "Can we be friends now? Put the past behind us?"
