My favorites would be Furret and Jirachi. Furret just owns at Lv100.

By type... I'm not counting any Unova ones because 1) I don't like many of them; 2) I haven't played yet. Also no repeats.
Normal: EEVEE, for sheer adorable cuddly-ness. Miltank otherwise (great movepool, reliable recovery, and hits pretty hard).
Fighting: Riolu/Lucario (I love Lucario. He's one of my All-Stars, fantastic movepool, can go special or physical, fantastic team member overall), Mankey/Primeape (fast and packs a wallop), and Gallade cause it's cooler than Medicham (extending swords on its arms!).
Flying: Togekiss (Serene Grace for the win), Aerodactyl (Rock Head + Double Edge = ouch) and Gliscor (Swords Dance + Sand Veil).
Poison: Crobat and Nidoqueen (Queen is so underrated).
Ground: Garchomp. With Hippowdon, Dugtrio and Donphan right behind.
Rock: Aggron, despite its paper thin defences and horrendous speed. It's a giant metal dinosaur. Plus Aron is cute.
Bug: Butterfree. My HG one stayed on the team all the way up till I caught Ho-Oh. Shedinja and Heracross right behind.
Ghost: Rotom all the way. Electric/Ghost with Levitate, yes please. Gengar or Mismagius otherwise.
Steel: Jirachi #1. Metagross or Skarmory otherwise.
Dark: Absol for the win, I want to have one and cuddle it. Tyranitar, Umbreon and Houndoom otherwise.
Dragon: The Lati twins for sheer adorableness. Dragonite, Kingdra, Salamence, Flygon, Garchomp for battle.
Ice: Froslass. My Ice Princess singlehandedly wiped out half of Cynthia's team on her own. Glaceon and Articuno otherwise.
Psychic: Espeon just because it's -cute-, and I always have one in HGSS despite taking three hours to raise its happiness. Gardevoir, Lugia, Celebi, Mewtwo and Mew otherwise.
Electric: Zapdos, Raikou and Jolteon win here. Lanturn, Ampharos and Raichu are both pretty cool though.
Grass: Shaymin or Leafeon for cuteness, Torterra or Breloom for battling.
Water (ARGH TOO MANY): Swampert, Suicune, Vaporeon, Kingdra, Starmie, Feraligatr, Kyogre...
Fire: This is my favorite type. I like pretty much EVERY Fire type out there, except the Magmar and Slugma families and the Unova Fire types. Oh, and I'm not a fan of the Chimchar line.

Well, if I have to go for all time favourite, I’d say Absol hands down. I don’t know what appeals to Absol so much for me, but I guess I really fell in love with it while playing Mystery Dungeon Red. There is just so much of a complex character behind it, combine it with the stunning appearance what’s not to love. It’s a tragic hero; it comes into people’s lives to warn them of the danger to come, only to be shunned when they falsely assume that Absol is the cause for the disaster. Plus I developed a whole new respect for it when I spent several hours in Platinum hunting one down… I have had a long string of Absols since then, all bred from the one I caught on the mountain.

My favorite pokemon I would have to say is Gardevoir, I dont know why but she and most of my other psychic pokemon have never really failed me ( in all truth I have only had three psychic pokemon ever. Gardevoir, espeon, and mew).
Gardevoir:
Psychic- my imaginations runs wild when I think of this move, personally if pokemon were real I would teach her to rotate while using psychic so that it look like the palm rotation derived from the hyuuga clan.
Thunder punch/ thunderbolt- just something other than what is originally in the move set.
focus blast
and dark move
Also like crobat, and pigeot....I really dont have a type that I prefer

My all time favorite pokemon has to be Mew.
I'm not really sure why. But Mew has always been my fav. And the biggest pain to get in all the games. lol.
But Mew is so cute and strong. :3

My favorite Pokemon is a snorlax. An example of how much I love this Pokemon:
Last year, for my birthday, my husband got me a shiny female snorlax (level 5) for Heart Gold. I love that Pokemon.
I prefer normal type, because I'm odd. Most Pokemon I like fall into that type. I also have a pink furret, and I love to show it off.
Other, non normal, types of Pokemon I like: Gallade, Staraptor, Houndoom, and Roserade.

I've always liked Electric type Pokemon, more specifically Pikachu and
Ampharos. When I was younger, I had a ton of Pikachu plush toys, which is probably
why I like it so much now. I'm not sure why or when I started liking Ampharos. o w o

Ever since the episode of the Anime with the ghost pokemon my favourite has been and probably always will be Haunter. The sheer cheekiness and coolness of Haunter is one of the best things in pokemon ^^

I've always loved grass type pokemon, I've been a very girly person my whole life. My older brother chooses pokemon for their stats, preferring those with powerful attacks. As a way to annoy him, and because I really do like them, I choose my pokemon based off cuteness...
One pokemon that my brother hates is Bellossom. When we were kids, this meant that I HAD to have one on my team. Needless to say he was annoyed. So when we battled, and I beat him with Bellossom as my last pokemon he was so mad! And after that, Bellossom became my favourite pokemon. Not only is she adorable, but you can play around with TMs to make a great move-set. Most importantly, my brother now has a deep loathing for them because of my brave little Bellossom. heart

I really love the Normal type and Ghost type pokemon because they seem to be very helpful!
I really love Gengar!
What I really love about Gengar is that it is a ghost pokemon and its really strong. I really like his powers too.

I've always like all of the pokemon. Because all our simply unique but I like Pichu, Pikachu and Raichu because they are simply cute and I like cute things.

I am a fan of adaptable pokemon. as well as pokemon that (if givin the chance) would look just plain cool in real life. I like dratini and dragonair for their muiltiple elemental attacks, thunderbolt, flamethrower, dragon breath, ice beam ect. I am a fan of arcanine as well, because it looks awesome and for the same reason as mentioned above, attacks, it can learn hyperbeam, dragon breath and a lot of fire type attacks. burn FIRE BURN. lol jk. but most of all, I am a fan of the kings and queens of adaptation, eevee and all of their eeveelutions. short term it takes a lot of care, but in the long run, they are the best option (in my opinion) for targeting a specific element. I know that not many will agree, but its my opinion. also im new here and i'd like to say hi to everyone ^^
