Axel smirked "Being a parent is going to be fun, I can't wait." He wrapped an arm loosely around Niara's waist, his hand resting on the small of her back, careful to not wake up Adrienne.

"But once these guys grow, we're going to take a break from kidlets, and get some time to ourselves." He smiled and winked.

Axel smiled and rested his head against Niaras' "Oh come on, Damien's quiet. And now that we're living together, we can take turns waking up at night. Alright?"

Swaying slightly, he shut his eyes and smiled, enjoying the slight attention he was getting from Niara.

Axel just nodded, he hadn't been with Niara in so long, he missed just being together like this. Not to mention that whatever she was doing with his back just made him, wow, so relaxed and comfortable. If he was a cat he'd be purring right now.

Destiny had sensed the presence of something of great darkness blasting forth like a terrible winter wind. She was asleep by Lord MidKnight her black unicorn when she awoke. The two of them watched as a figure flew over head of them. The figure was familiar. Dark and overshadowed. She lept up happily.

"Skalis!" She called out. "Skalis!!"

Destiny stepped back a little. "What have you done, to Skalis?" She asked. She placed her hand on MidKnight, not for comfort, but to keep him from attacking the stranger before them.

Destiny looked at her staff, which was her only line of defense. She didn't know what powers she had, and even if she did, she wouldn't fight. Fighting only lead to more Fighting which then lead to death. Destiny's eyes were sad, they shimmered sadly. She then opened all four of her wings, her arms, and dropped her staff onto the ground.

"I won't fight you..." She said sadly. "I don't want to fight... Because it only causes pain, suffering of the heart and death of the soul." She looked back up at the one who would be her killer. "Even in the darkest of places, there is still a small light... So small, it is barly noticable. But it's there... With darkness comes light, with death comes life..."

Niara smiled again, leaning up to give him a kiss on the lips when she suddenly heard the sound of something shooting through the air. Her brow furrowed in curiousity, and she glanced up at the one causing the noise. The darkness emitting from it was almost palpable, and she moved Adrienne to hold her against her chest, as if to conceal her. Draco had filled in the older family of everything that had happened that night when he and Drathir had fought Skalis, including the seal and all. "Oh Goddess..." she whispered, her eyes suddenly growing quite large. As soon as Skalis had disappeared, she whirled around and opened her mouth to say something to Axel. "He's been relea-" Her words were cut short when a sudden thought rang through her head as clear as day. It was an unfamiliar voice, but one warning her of a tournament. She stood, simply staring at Axel in an unseeing fashion, before shaking her head a little. "...I've got to fight." Without saying another word to her, she began to move purposely away from the mountains, almost calmly.

Niara looked up at Axel, her face completely serious. "I'm fighting. Against the evilest of evils." She turned her eyes down to Axel's arms, even as he said his last words, and she reached forward with a free arm to move one of his own into a cradling position. She placed Adrienne in said arm and wrapped his other around her, planting a kiss on the baby's hair, before she began to move slowly once again. "I have no choice, Axel. This is important. It's for you and I, and Adrienne, and Damien. It's for us all." The words were spoken impassively, which was her own way of sounding worried. In reality, though she had calmly accepted this, she wanted to burst into tears or scream until her throat was hoarse.
