Huh. Well it's basically a Beka and her siblings fic idea. Some friends and I have been talking about how we thought Beka was kinda of like a mom to her siblings because her mom's coves didn't like them nor did her customers so Beka was the one who usually took care of the kids and add to the fact that their mom had lung rot Beka was like a mom or second mom as well as a big sister to them. I just saw her singing that song to them and I started wondering about what they were feeling during Terrier when she didn't come back to visit them because she got caught up in her cases.

You know you're obsessed with Tamora Pierce when....
you've been packing boxes for 10 hours (I'm not exaggerating) and you ask your mom for a break because you would like some free time. When she says that you don't have any free time until you move into the house you think: "Ah. 'Free time.' I've heard about that. Don't fool yourself, Fire-Top. What with the extra hours of lessons for punishments, and the work you get everyday, free time is an illusion. It's what you get when you die and the gods reward you for a life working from dawn until midnight. We all face up to it sooner or later."
