Belarion looks up, startled, and studies him. "Ahhh... Oh. Just lost in thought... Cooling off because I'm pissed about some one." He sighs softly. "But you didn't need to know that." He pauses, then smiles at Jeida, brightly.
"I'm Belarion. You new here?" He holds out his hand, trying to shake off his irritations.

"My names Jeida." The hyena smiled softly and looked at the offered hand a little perplexed until he figured it out. "Oh..yeah." Shifts the cards to one hand and extends his hand to shake the offered one.
"I don't live here, just passing through. Anything I can help with?"

Belarion shakes Jeida's hand and smiles. "Nice to meet you, Jeida... and... I don't know... It involves another anthro who's driving me mad. She doesn't get that personal space is actually something people LIKE."

"Hn..." Jeida shakes his head. "...I thought everyone understood something like that." He sighed softly and stowed his cards in a belt pouch. "Where are my manners; come and sit while we talk."

Bel smiled and moves to sit besides Jeida. "Heh apparently not. She is way too physical. I get most uncomfortable. She seems to think sitting on my lap is perfectly normal, even though we've only met twice and I've shown no signs that I want to get closer then polite conversation!"

Jeida wrinkled his nose, this person sounded pushy. "Did you want something to drink? Water or spirits maybe?" In his performing element as he was now he was calm and confident.

Bel ponders this. "Water please. Spirits might make it so that if I saw her when I went in... She could far to easily have her way with me. And given her... She would, I bet..."

Jeida nods and disapears up the steps into the wagon returning moments later with a waterskin and two carved wooden cups. "Here we are." He settles himself on the steps again beside Belarion. Sets the cups down and undoes the cork on the waterskin, filling the two cups and recloses it.

Bel takes one of the cups and examines it. "This is nice... I've never seen one like this before, I'm used to metal or glass." He admires it a moment, then slowly takes a sip, murmuring a thank you.

Jeida picks up his own cup and takes a sip from it. "Glass is too fragile to travel with." He smiled softly and nodded, hearing the thank you. "If I may ask, why did this person start doing things like that to you, does she not realise it's unwelcome?"

Bel's nostrils flared. "Apparently she did not. When I did my best to make it clear, she got mad at ME, like I was in the wrong for wanting my personal space!" He snorts, getting angry again.

Jeida sighed, set the cup down and retrieved his cards from his belt pouch and began fidgeting with them again. "She sounds...rather unpleasant, would you like help in getting her to leave you alone?"

Bel turned HUGE, pleading eyes on Jeida. "Oh please... Please? I'd do a great deal for that! Why she doesn't get that her level of contact is unwelcome in some one I'm not CLOSE to..." He growls a bit. "You're think I was her LOVER, the way she acts."

"Find a way to make her jealous." Jeida fanned out the cards and leaned back against the step behind them. "Make her think there is someone else who has won your attention perhaps..."
