Kauru sighed deeply then yelled "Blaze! Come out!"
A giant serpant of blue flames appeared out of no where.
Yes, Kauru?
"Watch over them, I am going to talk to Kay and see about getting her help."
With what?
"Finding a book."
Okay Said Blaze as he twined loosely and protectively around Faethor and Talitha as Kauru suddenly looked like nothing but an empty shell as she talked to Kay.

Talitha moved closer to Faethor as the giant snake twined around them, obviously scared.

*he wrapped his arms around her to comfort her. They were barely tangible but he could tell how scared she was and would do anything to help*

A smile graced Kays face as she looked up at them. "So you need a book huh?" She walked closer towards Faethor and Talitha, but stopped short as her guardian gave a warning hiss. "Oh Blaze shut up." She turned her cold gaze onto Faethor. "I don't know... one less person to be around here.." Suddenly her wrists shined a bright gold and Kay gritted her teeth to prevent herself from yelling. "Fine Kauru! Yeesh, can't a girl have some fun around here?.."

*he nodded* Yes, it's called the Alchematros. It was last seen in the Cruciform Hills. I have no clue where it is now.

"Alchematros eh... I've seen that book before..." Kay appeared to be ready to sit, inches above the ground she vanished in a whirl of flames.
Show off.. Muttered Blaze.
An hour later, Kay showed up holding a thick book. "Is this it?" She asked holding up the book and looking smug, though not handing it over.

*a slight whisper of a word escaped his lips as the book dissapated into shadows and reapeared in his hands floating he flipped through it scanning it* I'm not sure, I'll have to authinticate.

Kay just stood there, her arms folded across her chest. "Not even a thank you, and you all call me evil." She muttered sarcasticly.

Kay looked very pleased with herself. "I didn't do it for you, I did it for me. You all won't see Kauru for a while." She said with a wicked smile. "Begone!" She said to Blaze as he suddenly vanished.
