To say the truth... My first reaction was disgust.

I was at a rather young age when first exposed to it, even straight couples gave me the same reaction, but it never occurred to me that same sexed couples were out there as well. After a while of being exposed to it by a friend, I felt more comfortable about it and even learned to like it... but this like seemed to quickly turn to love. It was a growing thing I suppose.

In my younger years, I'm ashamed to say that I wasn't all that comfortable with Same Sex couples. *bordering on disgust* I wouldn't be Bi today if some things in my life opened my eyes to the better parts of samesex relationships.

My first Yaoi was 'FAKE'. At the time, when my friend Crystal lended it to me, I was wondering what the hell to do. I wasn't all that interested in same sex pairings (I was in 7th grade and just starting to think on dating) and was actually against several pairings that I enjoy today. (Like Riku/Sora, Cloud/Leon and lots of others)

I began to read it after I got home and was surprised to find that it was good, and there was not that much heavy smut that I lost interest. It had a smooth flow that I think was the perfect entry for me to become a fangirl of Yaoi/Shonen Ai. ^_^ FAKE made me open my eyes to yaoi and I became steadily interested ever since.

Then I found gay/lesbian friends.

I'm a yuri fan before this (and how I got into Yuri is a different story that won't be told in this guild) so keep that in mind. I heard that loveless had a yuri couple in it (which it does). The main couple is Risuka and Soubi which are guys. I fell in love with them, and slowly worked my way in deeper.

I wasn't discusted at all. Then again, I grew up in a pretty tolerant household. No, that wasn't it. My house's motto is the don't tell me about your romantic life. That is private. It worked for both couples. So, my first reaction was this, "That is so beautiful!" no, my first comment on the show was, "Risuka is a cool character." followed by the privous comment. It was before Soumi came into the picture.

the first time i ever found yaoi was i stumbled upon it on youtube, i was looking for something to watch so i typed in naruto and i saw something that said " piero thanatos" and yeah i watched it the first thing i thought was okay was sasuke gave naruto a kiss and then in like one minute everything got" OMG WTF HOW THE HECK!!?!?!? WHAT! NOOOO~"
so yeah i have been addicteed!

I was looking into all aspects for anime and mange. So I did reach on yaoi and yuri and hentai. I looked into all thing anime and mange. I read a few Gundam Wing Fanfic mostly because that my favorite anime. I pretty much liked the stories I read and like it ever since. But I knew what I was getting in to before hand.

Ehh... I was slightly grossed when my younger cousin introduced me to the famous Gundam Wings pair. Then secretly I looked at every night when I had the chance. Sadly, I got into hentai first before to yaoi. *hangs head down in shame*

well some of my friends are big yaoi fangirls and so they had me read i think it was little butterfly and i freaked out i was like wtf is this and then idk i just started to get into it like i read some fanfics and found out i really liked it its kind of strange XD

My BBF introduced me to it. She told me to find a picture of Shuichi from Gravitation and print it out for her. Then I got curious and asked her what Gravitation was about.

After she told me the plot, i was like eek .

But after watching Gravitation, I was immediately hooked on yaoi! biggrin
