Wyatt saw Kalani running. "You should know we are nothing like that b*****d. He is evil." Wyatt yelled at the top of his lungs hoping she heard him.

Kalani slowed to a stop when she was out of sight and collapsed in the shadow of a tall tree. She was confused and wanted her family. Lucifer always had a way of making her feel better but mostly she wanted Cobin. How could she be around him when his father did something so cruel and outragous?

"Kalani!" He called, watching her go, wanting to follow after her. He knew that she wanted to be alone..or with somebody else right now. "Thanks alot Wyatt." Cobin said angrily.

Kalani heard Cobin call after her which gave her enough courage to stand and start walking towards them. She stopped when she came into view of them both and nickered quietly to Cobin. He can't be bad like his dad. I've known him since we were rocks, he can't be bad. He just can't.

Cobin trotted up to Kalani and nuzzled her. "You know im not anything like that." He whispered.

Cobin sighed. "I don't know. My mother didn't like to talk about it and I didn't get to see enough to realize what was happening. The most information i got out of anyone was that he had a fight with Flare's family and lost his temper."

Cobin watched Wyatt as he walked away and then turned to Kalani. "Yeah, im tired too." He said and looked at his suroundings. "We could go back to Racer's herdgrounds or maybe back to Mirage's....that's your herd right?"

Kalani was about to respond when she noticed that Cobin had grown taller than her. "You grew..", she said a bit sad at first. She then noticed she had grown as well. "I grew too!", she shouted excitedly. "We grew! We grew!"

"Huh what are you..." He looked down at his hooves noticing that they were bigger. "We did grow!" He said and pranced around Kalani in circles. "Yay!"

Kalani jumped around with him happily but stopped and thought for a second. "Hey! You're taller than me! Thta's not fair", she said pouting.
