You have noooo idea how hard it is for me to choose! Like those who have posted before me said, she looks more innocent with the long hair, which I found cute. The short hair definitely made her look tougher and more mature, though. I'd have to say that I like them both, but her long hair will always have a special place in my heart. smile
Funny story about the short hair thing, though.
The first season I got on DVD was season 6, 4 years ago. Here's some advice: Never put in the last season of Xena when you haven't followed it since you were 8.
I popped it in, ready to re-live some childhood memories. Imagine my surprise when I see Xena traveling with some short-haired chick. I couldn't help but wonder where Gabrielle went and who the newcomer was. Imagine my surprise when I found out that that was Gabrielle! I don't think I'd ever been so mad at a TV show for something as silly as hair. Hahaha.
Eventually, the short hair grew on me, though. Either that, or I began seeing Gabrielle for her brave and beautiful personality. Especially in To Helicon and Back!
My all time favorite hair-do of hers, though, is in season 1, after she becomes an Amazon. She reminded me of an elf. XD
... Did I seriously just write a post that long about hair?

There Are Two Kinds Of Tears; Ones For Those Who Leave You...I find also it depends which season. I hated the short hair in season four where it was like reallly shirt and spiky at the back. The season 6 hair I really liked, the sort of healthy shag...twas hot! lol And Ones For Those You Can't Let Go

Eveosin There Are Two Kinds Of Tears; Ones For Those Who Leave You...I find also it depends which season. I hated the short hair in season four where it was like reallly shirt and spiky at the back. The season 6 hair I really liked, the sort of healthy shag...twas hot! lol And Ones For Those You Can't Let Go I agree, during the last season her hair grew in a little more and looked much better then when they first hacked it off.

Season 5 and 6 Gabrielle was definetely one of my favorite looks for her. It resembles how much she matured.
