*upon dropping his pair of chopsticks and being smacked backwards...he quickly recovered...he pulled out another pair...*
Ramen Nin 1: get out the way girl...this does not concern you...Tasty Jutsu: Naruto Swirl...
*Kaida would immediately see a vision of a swirling piece of whirlpool fishcake...which would attempt to put her in a hypnotic state...*
*Kohana was recoiling to a corner in fear...Maiko standing in front of her...suddenly another nin jumped out of the water and onto the boat and got the jump on Maiko, stabbing her in the abdomen with a pair of chopsticks...Maiko retaliated with a powerful punch...sending the nin flying and snapping his neck while she was at it...she then collapsed to the deck, with Kohana watching in fear...*
::meanwhile, in Kinoru's fight::
Ramen Nin 2: hmph...Tasty Jutsu: Uncooked Ramen...
*he threw two ropes on the deck, and they immediately went rampant, tying around Kinoru and Kao's legs and then wildly whipping them...*

Kinoru struggled to move, but he managed to get his hand just close enuf to preform a jutsu. He preformed the seals as fast as he could he ahd to escape, he just hoped that his new justu wouldn't be neccisary "Dual Peircing Fang!!!" The rottation from the jutsu caused the rope to untie from there legs, but they missed the Ramen nin completly.

Kaida stood there for a moment then biting the inside of her mouth she caused herself enough pain to avoid the genjutsu before it could take full effect on her. She smacked her opponent across the face with her tonfa hoping to break his teeth or something along those lines. She swung again always trying to keep one arm near her for defense as the other struck out. This time she managed to pop him a good one in the jaw. "This is my concern.. this group is in my CARE." She kept smacking him around like a rag doll not caring just how fast he recovered from her blows. She would keep smacking him around as long as it took to make sure her charge was delivered safely.

*the nin being smacked around threw a powder at Kaida's eyes...it smelled...like Monosodium Glutamate(MSG)...*
arrow Vs Kinoru
*the nin watched as Kinoru spun off past him...probably ending up off the boat and in the water...*
arrow Kohana-hime...
*as Kaida busied herself with her smacking and Kinoru had to free himself from the binding ropes, another nin jumped onto the boat and stood in front of Kohana...*
nin: looks like your faithful friend isn't here to protect you...
*Maiko was on the floor...a small puddle of blood around her...*

Kinoru and Kao jumped out of the water. The quickly noticed the second nin "Damn, look's like we'll have to use one of the our new jutsu" Kinoru took some leaves out of a pouch, thankfully they were still dry. He began to do some seals while still holding the leaves "Ha Suto-ma no Jutsu" As Kinoru had done the seals he had laced the leaves with chakra making them sharper as kunai, but they were also lighter. After Kinoru had finiahed the final seal he through the leaves which seemed to have been caught in a small twister about Kinour's height, it went straight for the first nin. As Kinoru had preformed the jutsu, Kao had started to run at the new nin

Kaida turned to avoid the powder not wanting to get any in her eyes. She slipped her tonfa's back into their holders before twisting her body in such a way she flipped kicking the ninja across the face. She caught sight of the other nin going after Kohana and pulling out her kamas she swung out releasing the weapon so that it sliced right into the ninja. "Kinoru be careful!"

arrow Vs Kaida
*The nin near Kohana turned and grabbed the weapon between his chopsticks...they were stronger than anyone would have guessed...he then redirected the attack and tossed it at the incoming Kao...*
arrow Vs Kinoru
*Besides the fact that a sharp object was headed for his partner, Kinoru had other worries...the nin that the twister was aimed for did some cartwheels to dodge it and landed on the water...he then did some hand seals...*
nin: Tasty Jutsu: Shrimp Flavor...
*bubbles appeared in the water in front of him, and soon, a decently-large mass of shrimp shot out of the water and flew straight in Kinoru's direction...each shrimp had a sharp point at its tip*
arrow a bit farther down the river
*a large explosion came forth from beneath the water...and when the mist and vapors cleared, Shunketsu was standing on top of the water, breathing precious oxygen once again...floating beside him was the corpse of the nin that dragged him under, singed in various areas even though the battle was underwater...Shunketsu seemed...pissed...he began his run back to the boat, which would only mean bad news for the enemy nin...*

Kao ducked the attack, then went strait back to running. Kinoru smirked when the nin dodged the jutsu, he began to do had seals, and as he did the Twister continued to head after the nin. Knioru continued to do seals. He knew one thing, he could get under the attack, probably wouldn't make it if he tried to go around, and the was little chance he'd get over it. So he only had one option, he had to go through it. Kinoru finished the last seal "Peircing Fang"Kinoru used the jutsu and was heading strait for the shrimp, fully intent on going through them

Kaida pulled her weapon back quickly so that it would not strike her friend and ignoring the other ninja with the powder she ran for Kohana and Maiko. She used her body like a battering ram and slammed right into the ninja knocking him away. Grabbing Kohana she dragged her over to Maiko. "Stay close... " She dropped down needing to care for Maiko before she lost anymore blood. She pulled out her medical kit and began working on Maiko's wound quickly dressing it to stop the bleeding. "Maiko can you hear me... Maiko stay with me..."

arrow Vs Kinoru
*The nin would attempt to submerge underwater...in order to avoid the twister...but something would grab him by the back of his shirt, pull him up, and toss him straight into the twister...Kinoru would handle it from there...Shunketsu was the one who intervened and upon throwing the figure, he was gone again...*
arrow Vs Kaida
*Maiko didn't give much to a response to Kaida, but out of nowhere, grabbed Kaida and pulled herself face to face with her...*
Maiko: get...me...some...sake...
*She then released her hold and collapsed once again on the deck...*
*the 3 remaining nin on the boat all jumped at Kaida from behind...*
3 nin: Tasty Jutsu: Vegetable Medley!!
*They transformed into giant pieces of corn, carrot, and peas, all 3 attempting to squash Kaida...and while Kaida would treat Maiko, there wasn't much she could do to counter in her position...*
*a mass of shurikens and wires flew from behind them, wrapping around the 3 nin...Shunketsu then appeared off the side of the boat, and threw quite a few kunais, each one going through the hole in the middle of each of the shurikens, and impaled the side of the boat's cabin....the kunais would hold the shurikens against the cabin, and the wires between the shurikens would hold the 3 nin tied to the wall as well...*
*Shunketsu then leapt onto the boat...and the clone of his that threw the shurikens disappeared...*
Shunketsu: Kaida...are you alright? if you are...continue your treatment of Maiko...Kohana and I need to have a little talk...
*Shunketsu motioned Kohana inside the boat's cabin...and as he walked by the 3 nin, he knocked each of the screaming nin unconscious...*
*Kohana, still trembling, slowly rose and followed...she had a very guilty look on her face...*

Kinoru just stood there after barreling through shrimp, watching as the leaves in the twister tore away at the nin, slicing deep into his skin. After the twister subsided He picked up the nin and through him over board, then he. Started to sniff along with Kao, keeping his ears open to see if anymore nin were on there way

Kaida's eyes went wide and she was grabbed by Maiko and as she sensed the presence of nin behind her she placed her body over her patient. Seeing that Shunketsu soon had them taken care of she nodded and pulled some sake out of Maiko's bag. She gave her some and then quickly attended to her wounds focusing her chakra to her hands so that when she performed the correct seals her hands became a focus for a healing. She carefully repaired what she could then sweating alittle she fell back onto her bottom tired already. Healing even on a small magnatude still took alot out of her. "Kinoru... are we all clear?"

"Seems like it. Nothing but water and fish for a few miles. Plus doesn't sound like anythings coming either" Kinoru said as he sat down and leaned against the side of the boat

((I'm back...so now to make up for what I didn't post))
*Shunketsu slammed his hand on the table inside the cabin, which could be heard by the others outside*
Shunketsu: What the hell do you think you were doing by lying to us? This is a rank C mission, protection against bandits...but we were attacked by ninjas! professionals! You just risked the lives of my students!!! This has just become a Rank A mission!!
Kohana: gomen e(sorry)...
Shunketsu: If you had told the office what kind of mission this would have been, I wouldn't have brought my students along! They're too young to be killed by ramen-nin!!
Kohana: gomen e...
Shunketsu: and also...
Kohana: GOMEN E!!
*She stood up from her seat at this point...tears running down her face...*
Kohana: gomen e...gomen e...........
*there was a silence for a while, with only Kohana crying...and the occasional hiccup of a drunk Maiko outside with Kaida...Kohana slowly sat back down in her seat...*
Shunketsu: give me one good reason not to leave you on the opposite shore and take my students home...
Kohana: it was 2 months ago...
Shunketsu: I asked for a reason...
Kohana: And I'm giving it to you!! now shut up and let me explain!!
*She was quite furious now...mostly at herself...and tears were streaming down her face...but she seemed to calm down a bit, and replaced her angry face once again with her sad face...*
Kohana: It was 2 months ago...Letters kept me informed of the situation...{Flashback Scene!}
Kohana: I had just left on my vacation to see other lands...with Maiko and another friend by my side...we three were inseparable...We all came from nice lives in Pocky Country...but the truth was...Pocky Country, despite all the tourist attractions, was filled with violence...
*Shunketsu took a seat, this was gonna take a while*
Kohana: There had been 2 shinobi villages for as long as I can remember, both trying to become the sole village to represent Pocky Country...one was Ramengakure...the other was Tempuragakure...both excelled in their own ways...after a fight that ended with the death of a bystander, my father, the feudal lord, aimed to settle it...he held a competition...one representative from Ramengakure would fight one representative from Tempuragakure...the date was set, the fight would be on that day, no matter what...that fight took place about a month ago...the victor was Tempuragakure, and my father was forced to support Tempuragakure even though Ramengakure and him were on much better terms...
Shunketsu: and now...why are the Ramen-nin after you?
Kohana: The day before the fight, the representative from Ramengakure was found dead...he had been murdered...the murderer was never found...
Shunketsu: there must have been a lot of accusations...
Kohana: indeed...Tempuragakure had been accused of killing the representative, but there was no proof to back it up...it seemed that the representative had been killed with projectiles, and that is a common weapon for any nin...but the rule was that there would be no delaying the match, and another nin was selected to represent...that one lost terribly...not only did he lose the match, he lost his life...Ramengakure complained that the Tempuragakure nin had gone too far...but Tempuragakure shrugged it off, saying it was an accident...again, not enough proof could be gathered...
Shunketsu: and...what does that have to do with you?
Kohana: Ramengakure demanded another match so that they may train another representative properly instead of within one day...but Tempuragakure, which now holds more power than Ramengakure, refused it...and thus, it cannot be done...so...Ramengakure nin complained to my father...but, my father had to respect the rights of the new offical shinobi village...and thus, now...they are trying to kidnap me...in order to use me as a bargaining chip against my father, forcing him to hold another rematch...
Shunketsu: if they had such an important figure, why won't they just demand to be named the official village in exchange for you...
Kohana: Ramengakure nin aren't bad...they know what they would look like if they demanded a thing like that...and besides...they usually don't believe in that kind of thing...they just want a fair fight...
Shunketsu: then why not go with them...I'm half-tempted to leave you right here for them...
Kohana: It...would ruin Pocky Country's reputation...if the feudal lord had been forced to hold a rematch, it would mean he's denying a now official shinobi village the right to its title...my father is a kind man, and he feels sorry for Ramengakure, but he is an official that represents his country, and he cannot do just anything...because of that...Maiko and my other friend are defending me against Ramen-nin with their lives...about a week before I reached the safety of Konoha...my other friend...was killed...he died protecting me...
*tears ran down her cheeks again...*
Kohana: On his death-bed, he told me to stay safe...to uphold my father's honor...and my own...he made me promise...and he made Maiko promise to defend me with her life as well...after he died, that's when Maiko started drinking...it's sad to see her so addicted to it in such a short time, but I can't blame her...Maiko...was supposed to get married to him...and now...and now...she...she's hurt...my last remaining friend is hurt...and it's all my fault...
*silence*
Kohana: so please...Shunketsu-san...protect us until we can get back to the safety of the castle...I beg of you...please...don't let my friend die...please...I beg of you...
*outside, Maiko had overheard the pleas...*
Maiko: *talking softly aloud to herself* baka...if he wants to leave us...let him...not like I can't handle things...
*she then winced at the pain in her abdomen...*
Shunketsu: neh! Kaida! Kinoru! Edge!...
*he was speaking to them from inside the cabin*
Shunketsu: you overheard the story right? what say you three?

"Shunketsu Sensei I still need to care for Maiko otherwise these wounds could still turn life threatening. I say we stay...Maybe you can even get this put down on our records as an A rank mission." Kaida didn't care so much for the rank of the mission as she tended to Maiko making sure that her wounds would heal. " Besides we took them this far... we should complete our mission."
