RVD hit the Splash and rolls around on the mat as the move hurt him as well but not nearly as much as it affects HBK!

After the Rolling Thunder, Chris Hero had been out of comission for a few minutes. Hero slowly woke up and got to see Rob Van Dam jump off the pod and hit HBK with a splash! "Oh my God!" the crowd and the commentators yelled out as they had witnessed such a great leap of faith work out in Van Dam's favor. Chris slowly got up, holding his ribs, assimilating what was going to be his next move.

Rob had taken some time after the move hurt him as well but he finally crawls to the cover in hopes of eliminating HBK!

HBK would then roll out of the ring as the crowd cheers him after kicking out of RVD's finisher. He would hold his stomach, and let RVD and Chris Hero continue their fight.

Seeing RVD begin to get up would incite Chris Hero to stalk him. Chris would wait for RVD to get up, motioning his elbow.

RVD completely gets up, still disturbed by the fact that I roll 1's in big matches by the fact that he couldn't finish HBK. He turns around.

In his mind, Hero was singing Thirty Seconds to Mars' 'The Kill'. The "COOOOME BREAK ME DOOOOWN, BURY ME BURY ME, I AM FINISHED WITH YOUUUU" verse would start playing in his thoughts. Once he saw RVD get up, Chris would charge and spin around, trying to hit the Roaring Elbow on Rob Van Dam!

Wanting to assure that RVD would be pinned for the three count, Hero would attempt to pick RVD up from behind, tuck his head under his arm and spin around, driving Rob's head into the mat with a Hero's Welcome!
