|| OOC: Sorry for the uber shitty post, I've been brain dead for a couple days now. >.< ||

Despite Cam's small episode of hesitation and seeming panic, for now it appeared he was at least able to keep himself together enough to interact with Rory on a semi-normal level. He'd even gone so far as to offer him some sustenance, something Farren herself had not brought along with her. All in all, he seemed like a decent, reasonably level-headed, reliable guy. It was a breath of fresh air not really having to worry about someone else in addition to herself. It was pretty clear he knew how to take care of himself and that suited the kinetic absorptionist just fine.

She hadn't missed the fact that Rory was stuttering every other word, presumably a nervous twitch of the man's. Farren couldn't help but find herself wondering if this was how he always was on a regular basis or if the nervousness was due to the fact he'd been trapped down here for God knew how long. Hopefully the poor guy hadn't been scarred for life by whatever it was they had subjected him to here.

It was then that Rory chose to clarify how his powers worked, that, as she suspected, his voice couldn't affect robots since they had no mind for him to break. At least they knew what he was capable and incapable of. Unfortunately for them, it sounded like Rory had no means of combating the sentinels if they happened to run into more.

Cam then asked Rory if he happened to know of any other survivors only to have the nervous tattooed man explain that he'd had a bag over his head upon arrival. The response, in all honesty, didn't surprise the kinetic absorptionist in the least, she'd anticipated their freshly liberated captive likely hadn't seen anything beyond the room that had likely become his torture chamber for however long they'd confined him there.

Since none of them had any idea whether there were more survivors or not, they made a point of keeping an eye out while simultaneously making their way forward. Long, thin corridors seemed to be the name of the game here. There was little deviation in the design, however, there were a lot of side rooms to check out along with multiple forks leading to other halls and containment rooms that appeared to have been long since vacated.

Eventually they passed by a set of doors that were actually locked and from within those doors a voice could be heard, one that sounded as though it were pleading with them to rescue it. "In here, in here!" it exclaimed.

Naturally the groups response was to spring into action and rescue whoever they could, only for the door to be opened for them to realize it was the creator of the sentinels themselves pleading for them to help. A part of Farren wanted to march straight back out the door they just came through upon the realization, however, she knew being petty at this point wasn't what the X-men would want her to do.

As reluctant as she was to help, she relished the irony of this man specifically creating the sentinels in order to destroy mutant kind only to turn around and ask mutants of all people to help him. Maybe karma really did exist.

Before she had time to offer up a smug remark, however, master mold took it upon himself to fire a laser off at Trask. As Farren contemplated intercepting it, she saw a dark blur out of the corner of her eye that she quickly registered as Rory. Before she'd made up her mind, apparently Rory had. He threw himself in front of Trask willingly in order to take the laser fire that had been meant for the human who had been the entire reason Rory had been captured and tortured to begin with. Farren, to say the least, was impressed by the display.

Her initial reaction, of course, was to rush over to Rory and see if he was okay. "Johnny!" she exclaimed, actually allowing some genuine concern to seep through, "are you okay? Geez, you're one crazy dude."

Alice shot back her own butchered version of a Texas accent to her friend, “Oh, bless yer heart.” Which was basically the southern international way to call someone politely on their bullshit and to discredit what they were saying. She knew Blake better than most and she knew that he might be a southern gentleman, but there was a side to him that when reaching that point, he would throw fists and ask questions later.

“I’m boring? Alright, I’ll remember that next time you cash in one of your BFF coupons for a night out in Nashville, you little s**t.” She stuck her tongue out at him for good measure before turning her attention to the fight at hand. The rest of the conversation swayed from them to Jinx and her rather phallic statue. The entire situation was starting to turn into a dirty cartoon and Alice wasn’t really sure how much more she could handle.

The focus inside of the facility was a lot easier to maintain than the one happening outside. Roland’s announcement took them both by surprise to some extent. She looked over to Blake when he asked why he was alone in the first place. Her shoulders rose in a shrug, “You know how he is.” That was the most that she could sum it up. It wasn’t as if she knew Roland like the back of her hand, but he was always trying to do heroic s**t.

Blake had mentioned the Alphas and Alice was quick to chide a remark to the Texan before his thoughts drove themselves deep into the off-focus portions that obsessed over Bella. She grinned a bit too wide when he accused her of sounding hopeful, “A girl can dream,” she said, adding a longing sigh into it for good measure.

There was no update from Roland and she could tell that Blake was getting nervous. The big armored dummy was probably just ignoring it. That is until Thomas cued up and told them of the situation. “Great. Well, we can’t really stop what we are doing to check on him. You know that. Let the others handle it, we need to get these bots down before they start waking up. We can’t waste energy trying to make sure he’s okay. Who knows if we would even have a chance to get back in here.”

The risk was a little to high for her to want to stop now. Even as she drove her fists into the faces of the robotic giants, she knew that she had to focus on the pain in her hands over her worry for the team. As long as he wasn’t dead then he would be okay once they got back to base. Then maybe they could give Roland a good talking to about splitting away from the group during recess.

User Image Whatever warm sense of comaderie Aurelie’s pleasantry had brought about in the super strong mutant before entering the facility immediately faded upon her taking a sentinel blast coupled with a snarky comment from an ungrateful brat. “Aurelie! You okay to continue on? That wound looks pretty grisly.

Having addressed the more important event that had unfolded, Lachlan then took the time to narrow his eyes at Wraith's snotty comment. Had he not been holding down an entire sentinel to assure the rest of them weren't being assaulted by the machine, he just might have grabbed the ungrateful a** as he walked right past them without so much as a ‘thank you’. Instead, he was forced to opt for a comment from where he stood. "We easily could have just left your math challenged self behind instead of offering any support whatsoever, seeing as you're so keen on doing everything on your own anyway."

Realizing the majority of the crew here seemed to have tapped themselves out on energy, Lachlan decided to take matters into his own hands, quite literally. He chose to channel his frustration with Wraith's dip s**t commentary into an attempt at crushing some of his sentinel's limbs.

If he disabled his own sentinel then hopefully he’d be able to relieve August in order to help Aurelie deal with the smaller ones that had just been unleashed. With Aurelie’s help, he was able to do just that. As she ripped away at its face with her abilities, it gave Lachlan the opening to crush the larger sentinel’s legs in order to bring it down to his level. Once the giant contraption had been taken down the appropriate notch, it was lights out for the giant sentinel as Lachlan effortlessly destroyed what remained of the battered machine with a single fist to its now exposed core.

He immediately relinquished his grip on the scrap metal that had formerly been a sentinel and fluidly moved to assist August in dealing with his sentinel while Aurelie assisted Gabe with the four smaller ones headed his way.

The gravity user appeared to be channeling a lot of effort into holding the sentinel down, even Lachlan had exert actual effort tussling with these machines in order to get the upper hand against them as they struggled. “You look like,” Lachlan said with a reassuring grin to August as he began to beat on the sentinel in attempts to expose its core, “you could use a hand.

With August holding the machine down for him to take clean hits at it with his inhuman strength, Lachlan began his attempt to strip and beat his way to the robot’s core. Without the alternation of powers, however, the sentinel was beginning to adapt in order to protect itself from the super strong mutant's strength and August's crushing gravity.

Meanwhile, down the hall, Aurelie had managed to topple the four smaller sentinels to buy Gabe and Wraith some time to regroup. Confining themselves to the small quarters of the office just didn’t seem like a great position to put themselves in. “Wraith and Seige are going to need some assistance down the hall. Someone needs to draw those senintels away from the office so Wraith and Seige can regroup. Allegra, Playboy, think you can make that happen? And Tsunami, could I bother you to short circuit this second core here so we can free myself and Jedi up to assist the others down the hall hopefully without further intervention or distraction?

There where things that they weren’t fully understanding about her powers. Even though Aren seemed to have his best intentions in her best interest. It was too dangerous. She shook her head at him when he offered to carry her. “I can say that I certainly less volatile than some women that you’ve tried to say, but I can’t say that I wouldn’t leave you foaming at the mouth and hallucinating your worst nightmares.” It was better if he didn’t touch her.

They decided to leave the metal covered mutant behind to handle his own situation. They wanted to see the lab and Luci was willing to take them there. She didn’t know what they would find inside, but she did her best to lead them based on her own senses. Memories started to twist together with reality. She stumbled occasionally, between her own memories and the reality of her own exhaustion. She was careful enough to catch herself against the wall or against a door. Steadying herself without help before starting again was important in order to keep going.

They reached the door that lead into the lab and she had a lapse in memory. She felt embarrassed that she had forgotten the very ability that had gotten her out of her own cell. She chewed at her lip, even though both of them assured her that it was okay. The red head had disappeared into the lab and there was a crash. Aren stiffened up and started talking about a worse case scenario when Daylia had poked her head back out of the door.

They both had jumped with a start before she said that the people inside were acting up. Luci agreed to go in with her to try to calm them down. Daylia gave a small suggestion to Aren to tell them if something was wrong before she was being pulled through the door. Immediately, she set to work trying to calm down the people that were strapped down and hooked up to machines.

Daylia caught her attention when she held out gloves for her to slide on and protect the others from her touch. She nodded and slid the gloves on with the help of the red haired woman. “Thank you.” Once the gloves were secure, she moved to help getting prisoners free one by one. Each prisoner went with Daylia and was pushed through the door by the mutant. It took time, but they were all free. Before they were completely finished, Luci stopped to look at the doctor that Daylia had taken care of.

Her eyes darted over his features, trying to figure out if she recognized him or not. Their masked faces all looked the same, but she still felt anger ignite in her chest and burn through her gut. It wasn’t until Daylia spoke up that her attention was taken. When she had snapped do, however, her hand was hovering over his face, the only thing protecting him was a few inches of breathing room and a latex glove.

She hurried to Daylia and the pair slipped through the door. She was quiet, though it wasn’t uncharacteristic of her to be so. She kept her eyes down and a good deal of distance between herself and the others. They needed to get out of here and be free. She wondered if her family even noticed that she was missing and not just a run away. She chewed at her lip at the thought of them. She didn’t miss them, but at the same time they were supposed to be her family. She felt love and tasted bile at the thought of them.

Where was she going to go when this was all over?

Name: Dimitri Otengam. Codename: Playboy. Location: Sentinel Facility Lava Form: Off

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Quick thinking allowed the four Alphas a chance to rendezvous and formulate a strategy. Dimitri and Jedi were holding up fairly on their way to their other half of the team; who had took some bumps in the process. With no true direction they were bound to run into more machines, with the questions being were they're going to be small and easy to take down, or have more meat on them. Playboy thought more towards the latter the deeper they went into the territory of the queen.

"Yeah. Only they have self repair and lasers."

When the group became whole again Dimitri checked on Siege and commended Wraith, disregarding his own self care. As long as he was able to keep moving he would remain a threat to the Sentinels, small or big. He tried to rest and recover but Jedi saw it as an opportunity to bash Siege for his actions. Playboy tried to cool the situation from Siege's actions but to no avail. Kicking him while he was already down wasn't going to fly easy with him around. That was when siege defended his actions. Dimitri listened and knew how he felt and it was good to know as a team that he wouldn't make the same choice twice.

The heat however rose to the surface quicker when Dimitri spoke on Jedi's omega comment and how they weren't in the same spotlight as he was giving them. His joke and distaste mostly spawned from a certain omega that was on his s**t list but Jedi saw it as a shot against his allegiance. "Nobody's questioning your loyalty Jedi. "

"Believe we have more to give and we're all coming out on top."

And the first step in putting Dimitri's words into actions were to come up with a plan before his wall was broken down. But his idea looked to be left in the rainy brainstorm. Siege didn't possess firepower of what Dimitri requested, and the response from Wraith spoke contrary to the silence. He was asking for too much of his power. However another idea bounced into the field based off a piece of Wraith's plan. Dimitri followed skeptically behind Siege and slightly leaned at the computer screen.

Wraith and Dimitri agreed that trying to access their electronics meant they were going to be giving away one of their few advantages in their factory. Siege on the other hand decide to clash that possibility with his own expertise. Following what he as saying wasn't too much over Dimitri's head. Whatever bumps he did run across the way he tried to slow his roll. "An intranet system?" he asked between his keystrokes.

Whatever it was, it seemed to have obeyed Siege's commands. Multiple images Dimitri couldn't recognize were appearing until one showed up that looked like a floor plan. "Is that it!? Hell yea!"

And with a little more time Siege could relay the floor plans to the rest of the squad. That was when Dimitri's barrier was compromised and the Sentinels began their second wave. "Do it as fast as you can Siege and shut this s**t off!"

The sounds of crossfire bounced in the hallways between the Sentinels and the Alphas. And between the four men Dimitri felt he was getting the s**t poker hand when they kept adapting to his attacks. But not with Siege's bullets that, by courtesy of Wraith managed to pin one down. Wraith mentioned that it didn't last too long before the robots began to get lured to him like bait.

"s**t at this point..." he murmured, glancing below his waistline. "That's what the ladies will be telling me..."

He took a breath and channeled more molten energy through his body to his hands. This time he turned the knob to 2400, almost double the output he was giving out to the sentinels. Wraith's actions didn't compromise Dimitri's position luckily. If that were to happen D would have to hold his ground, having more of a volatile mutation. But he did have nice tricks in the bags that kept the Sentinels guessing. "Keep high I'm switching low!"

He appeared from behind cover in a kneeling, aka Tebow stance and shot 4 projectiles at two of the Sentinel's mechanical boots that were further behind the pack and went back into cover again. If successful, the lava quickly covered the tip of their boots to their ankles the same time Dimitri's fingers were stroking the air. And with two fierce, clenched fists, the lava would compress on itself; igniting, tearing apart their feet and severing their movement before supercooling. "That should be 2 down, go for it!" he said, letting his teammates finish try to switch the powers up and pick those 2 apart.

He closed his eyes and exhaled, feeling his body practically cool like his from the relief that he felt hearing Aurelie on the other end of the comm responding to his backup request. "Got it, thanks A."

Their battle continued with the Sentinels slowly budging and swarming their way in until Allegra, Marcel and Rectify entered the fray, helping them clear their present sentinel swarm. "You guys are early." But something didn't feel right. Something didn't sound right. There was a noise that escaped through the crossfire.

One that Playboy wondered if it was something he and Allegra was supposed to hear. "Umm, that was a good sound right?"

When Allegra gave them the most plausible answer, he formed and fist and hammered the side of the wall next to him. And their communication to the rest of the squad was static too? "Goddammit!"

And right on cue, 2 more sentinels, more upgraded than before showed up on the scene. But they had more numbers this time, which meant more powers to play with. Aurelie and L dealt big damage to the new machines while Dimitri tried to deal fire of his own and hold the line. But the Sentinel's shots were being more accurate; illustrated when their TK was defending blasts towards Siege and when she had gotten hit. "Allegra!" But she didn't give Dimitri time to think about what happened to her, but what she told him to do.

His eyes glowed and he gritted his teeth; popping out of cover and once more, maxed out his stream of lava towards the robot. On contact the sheer heat would annihilate its programming, followed by the crushing pressure Dimitri ordered. It took only seconds but the big breath that he took in after felt more. "And stay down..."

"Allegra?..." he looked over to her and L was worried too. Marcel had helped Wraith and sent the other few machines on a hurricane harbor. He took another deep breath walking to them when Wraith's actions at leaned just a bit in the wrong direction. Allegra looked to August and Dimtiri and he rubbed the back of his head looking indirectly at the ground.

He looked back up to them, trying to Rectify(ba dump tiss) Wraith's comment. "More like a tall drink of water after a day in the desert...with robots."

Only their desert had a few more sentinels tied down that needed to shut down. All they needed to do was take out their vitals. Aurelie took one and Dimitri took the other that Jedi had bonded down "I got you Rectify, soon as I take care of this." This is what happened when communication was transferred effectively

Playboy's chest fell and rose than normal as he walked over to his next mechanical victim, wiping his forehead. "Let me get some room Jedi." he requested. After some effort he extended his right arm and lava formed the size of a bouncing ball. He checked once more to his teammates not for confirmation but out of years of habit before his ball shot into a stream at max temperature, 2 directions to its vitals areas...

.....

It Listened and took into account, everything. From the signal of the intruders to its immobility, to its last moments; that mixture included data on each of the mutants. Its advanced performance was outperformed by the force of the mutants, leaving little room to switch it's manufactured software to adapt to one threat, let alone seven at once. Two of it's core defenses were penetrated it thought had no trouble protecting. The voice started active then deepened to imply it was going offline. "Modifying....Analyzing..."

Their moves were indeed calculated. They had isolated seven alphas with zero communication from the rest of the team, and now it was time to destroy. Inside of its circuitry, through its cold appendages the last remaining levels of energy transferred to the two sections needed to exist. Just enough to initiate another programming sequence based on the threat. Then its receptors locked on at Dimitri Otengam, who had been staring into it's eyes all along. If it knew emotion as these meatbags it would form a concave expression on an X axis.

Otherwise, a grin as it recited its last order.

"SELF DESTRUCTION SEQUENCE INTIATED!"

"WAIT WHAT!?" It didn't' make any sense and he didn't have the time to find a solution. Nor did he knew the time he had. It made its last 4 sounds in the span of 3 seconds that it gathered through the human's impulsive and erratic movement of its anatomy.

wicked robotic laughter. "HA! HA! HA! HA!"

"s**t! EVERYONE GET-"

A sudden flash of near blinding light violently emerged out of the sentinel's body. Hidden behind it was a hybrid of countless shrapnel pieces of sentinel armor with a roaring concussive force explosion spreading not just in the direction towards the Alphas, but through the entire cubicle room, hallway, and outside of the entrance.

Allegra instantly pushed through her pain like a freight train and shot out her hands at the Sentinel; Her strength and focus was pinpoint on keeping an invisible barrier around it but as strong as she tried to bind it, she could only contain it for a few extra seconds; the force of the explosion tore through it like wet paper. She was able to lessen the blow, but not enough to completely shield the team from flying shrapnel. At the aftermath of the explosion, between the smoke and debris Allegra's body was on the floor unresponsive; blood pouring to the surface throughout her eyes, ears, nose and mouth.

Dimitri tried to increase the speed to deactivate it, unsure as to why it still had power in its system. But if not even their telekinetic could trap the explosion, how could he try to stop it? It went black for Playboy the second the sentinel self destructed. He was found a few meters in the back face on his side unresponsive as his teammate. Blood poured through cuts on his forehead, cheeks, with metal pieces piercing his oblique and abdominal region inches deep. Near his forehead there was a swelling above the eye and an inflammation of his left forearm. He was out for the count, and his cerebellum region slamming on the ground from his flying a few meters back made sure he stayed that way.

At this Location: Sentinel facility. Thinking About: Don't look back While on Team: Omega

Cameron glanced from Rory to Farren after headphones were situated and Rory got some what he'd assume was much needed water. He could barely imagine going on the minimal water and food just to be kept alive to study. Cameron's lips creased at the corners, giving a slight smile knowing the only thing for their new found compatriot was an improved life from this hell hole.

Fracture lead the way this time as they decided it was time to go further. Cam for the most part had lead the way through this maze. He was still collecting himself back up after the gruesome scene earlier, that it was very relieving to not have to play 'what's behind this door?.'

It wasn't until a few minutes passed that there was a voice calling out to them. Another survivor. As the door slid open Farren froze. He didn't quite recognize the man right away. He looked familiar. Cam was fairly ignorant to more detailed politics of human-mutant relations.

It wasn't until a few seconds after Farren's delay to continue and the tone of voice Trask kept. He made the connection and recalled his hand, and mind behind the creation of the Sentinels. In the few seconds of the eye locked stand off, Trask was fired upon. In the same instance, Rory flung himself in the way, taking the hit.

The sight before him snapped him out of his sluggishness that came from the scene before. Rory had a burn on his backside. <********> Cam muttered. "Grab Rory." Cam shouted hurriedly. He grabbed Trask by the collar, and pulled him from his crouched position through the door. Farren had hefted herself under Rory's arm to help make it easier to walk as he started to step through the pain of being shot.

The door behind them slid closed again and they started to move. "How do we stop them?" Cam asked, beaming a glare at Trask. His face solemn and eyes staring in every direction except his saviors. It was clear that he wasn't too keen on the X-men coming to his aid.

"G-get me to a terminal. I started setting up a self destruct sequence for this facility, but I needed help, once I begin the sequence, I need protection. I'll essentially ping every sentinel in the building and the whole process will be about 30 seconds."

The trio looked towards each other. "Lead the way, you know this facility better than us." Aero said gesturing him to 'lead the way.' Cam unclipped his IFAK and pulled out some wrap and dressing. "When we get there, we're patching him up first." Cam said referencing Rory, Trask's savior. He turned back slightly, his gaze at the floor, with a slight glance up at Rory. This time though, a glint of remorse in his eye, then a glare as it jumped to Cam.

Several more minutes passed of an awkward silence. They darted in and out of cover from nearby sentinel patrols that shook the hallways. Their last dart, Trask turned around with pompous stance and his hands gesturing outward. "And we're here. Protect me at all costs or else those things will undoubtedly wipe out all of your friends." It was clear he still wasn't happy that his heroes were those he aimed to wipe out. But every glance at Rory, the remorse showed ever so slightly.

"First things first," Cam said, as he turned back to Rory and Farren. "lift up his shirt, we need to take care of that burn." Cam said to Farren as Rory took a seat on an old desk. Part of his shirt stuck to the puss covered mush that was the upper layer of where he was shot. Rory cringed in pain and bit down, trying his hardest to not let out a yell. The redness around the shot indicated the tenderness and slight cooking from the shot. Cam and Fracture began to apply the dressing to Johnny's wound. A cooling sensation covered the top for a brief moment, equaling out the everlasting and lingering pain of the burn.

"The relief is temporary, we'll try to finish this up as quick as we can." Cam said after Johnny Carcosa slowly and carefully slid his shirt down, giving a nod and mouthing out thanks. He pulled out one of his ear plugs and gestured to give a set to Trask. This answered Cam's question as to why his burned companion was so silent. Cam nodded and explained to Trask why they were necessary.

"Get ready." Trask said as he got behind the terminal.

Cam handed Johnny Carcosa a handgun and a couple of magazines. "There's no button safety. The safety is around here and on the trigger, it won't fire unless you're holding it properly, here's how." Cam said with quick instruction. He also showed how to eject and reload the magazine and ready it to fire. "It's better if we can all actively shoot, luck is better than you not having a weapon. Also, here." Cameron said giving Rory his second pair of his ear plugs that he had for shooting. Rory took it, looked at it a bit hesitantly. The gentle heart of the man seen as he wielded the weapon.

Aero, Fracture, and Johnny Carcosa all looked to Trask and nodded in unison, readying themselves. Fracture at the forefront, as her ability provided the best self defense. The other back and off set from Fracture

Click, click click... Trask began to type, and like clockwork, a mechanical rumbling could be heard. The combination of the room shaking and heavy mechanical steps moved their way towards the room. Not just the large ones though, several smaller steps were heard too.

It was the smaller sentinels that made it first. The smaller bots made their way in through the door, Cameron and Johnny immediately lighting up the entryway. The first sentinel that walked in was halted by the gunfire. And as quickly as the gunfire started, it stopped, only to have Fracture already in the doorway, used the energy she'd absorbed to rush through the door, barreling into the first sentinel. As a result she managed to send the first and it's mechanical duplicate back out the door. A massive dent and multiple cracks in it's armor stalling it. The weight of it held down the other. The one on top began to repair its shell. It's motor functions ceased in the process, buying them valuable time.

                                  20 seconds left.

Cameron was preparing to reload his half magazine when the shaking of the room became greater, and greater. The room collapsed in the corner of the room. Master mold tore his way in, and he made a quick scan of the room and locked onto Trask. Fracture was already in motion. "Eliminate Trask." The tin can called out. As it fired, Farren slid her way in front, taking the brunt of the fire, a shimmer and ripple lit around her as she absorbed the blast and was flung back from the force.

Trask dipped his head and looked as yet another mutant earned the title of savior.

                                  14 Seconds.

A whirring was heard as Master Mold's cannon whirred back to life to recharge it's shot. Fracture looked up, she shrugged off the shot. It wasn't the first time she'd taken a heavy hit. She had a good bit of juice behind her too. She began to move and become a shield once again.

                                  10 Seconds.

"CHARGE HIM!" Aero yelled. Both Fracture and Johnny Carcosa gave quizzical looks to Aero, confused by it.

"I AM GOING TO LIGHT YOU UP, GIVE IT ALL YOU HAVE WHEN YOU GET THERE! I WILL STOP ON A DOUBLE TAP!!" He followed up. Fracture hesitated briefly, something like this hadn't been attempted, but Master Mold was already readying himself, it was now or never. She took off, her body tense, preparing for rifle fire. She hadn't been shot before, so it was something slightly concerning her.

                                  8 Seconds.

Cameron started pulling the trigger in rapid succession. He aimed center mass, bang, bang bang... Shots rattled off and shells bounced. She was close enough for all rounds to make contact with her kinetic barrier.

Jonny Carcosa had taken initiative, and fired at Master Mold which, with several of his many shots, hitting rather luckily, causing him to glance and assess the immediate threats for a brief second.

                                  4 Seconds.

Master Mold's cannon began to glow a bright orange. Farren was a mere 10 feet from him. Bang....... bang bang. The signal that Cam was done shooting. She bounded two more steps and readied herself to launch her full body weight into the giant tin can.

                                  2 Seconds.

Farren leapt off her dominant foot and propelled herself into him, and immediately let out a shock wave of collective force from both Master Mold's initial shot, as well as every bullet she was pelted with from Aero. it rippled out, with so much force that she couldn't direct it all at her target. Residual energy tore rampant through the room blasted not only the enemy, but debris and force at her allies too.

                                  #?Seconds.

The debris fell. Master Mold had been launched back through the way he came, mangled. His body crumpled over with sparks flying. They didn't signify permanent destruction though. They were sparks of little bits of his innards working to repair themselves.

Moans could be heard. Both Aero and Johnny Carcosa wiped their face as dust settled. The typing had stopped and Trask was out of sight. Cam immediately darted towards the desk. Trask had his leg pinned. Roofing had fallen and he was having trouble keeping himself propped up. Rory immediately went to go check on Farren. Cuts and scraps laced her forearms, cheeks and rips on her uniform from flying debris, unable to absorb the kinetic blast of the debris after being drained from focusing on Cam's rifle fire.

"Aero, we need to go. Fracture is in no condition to fight." He spoke up concerned, now free to speak that everyone had ear plugs in. As he propped her up on his good side, they both limped their way over to Cam.

Trask looked up at them, pain wrinkling his face. "The sequence is done... but I need to execute it and the facility will self destruct. Despite what I did, thank you for saving me when you did," he looked to his pinned leg, then to Master Mold's frame repairing itself, the dents popping back out and cracks sealing. "Go, as soon as he starts getting up, or another one shows up, I'll begin the countdown. It's the least I can do as thanks."

The trio nodded, Rory still scanning about looking to see if there was anything they could do to help.

"C'mon.." Farren muttered. It was clear that this was definitely something she had never done before, in terms of her ability. Probably one of the reckless too. They hobbled out as fast as they could, Cam also limping. A fairly sized metal desk piece was jutting from his calf. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. "Also... I don't like the idea of being shot at, let's never do this again." Fracture finished, glancing from Rory, who had taken a shot for Trask, her own tattered self, then to Cam's new addition to his leg. Reckless might ultimately be an understatement.

There was no time to pull it out and dress it. They had to leave before the place dropped on them. As they made their way to the first strip of electrical tape that was previously placed, the facility lights dimmed, and an automated voice called throughout the halls "ALERT ALL PERSONNEL, EVACUATE THE FACILITY. I REPEAT, ALL PERSONNEL EVACUATE THE FACILITY, AND PROCEED TO THE DESIGNATED SAFETY DISTANCE, THE FACILITY'S SELF DESTRUCT SEQUENCE INITIATED. Red lights illuminated the floor for emergency exit directions.

Aero, Fracture, and Johnny Carcosa all stepped up their limp game and proceeded as quickly as possible. A handful of dispatched Sentinels were in the room that the Omega's had originally hit. It would seem all the sentinels that were active made their way to Master Mold when Trask started the sequence.

The three of them cleared the grounds as fast as the injured company could, with the assistance of the other Omega's. The shrapnel of their greeters strewn across the courtyard, they all boarded the jet and looked to the facility. On the other side, S.H.I.E.L.D. had provided transportation for the Alpha's in the midnight scrap. How convenient, giving an inch just to put their name on the success of the mission. The jet took off and just as it reached altitude to shoot away, the facility below them erupted into a ball of fire, bringing an early dawn to the night, and leaving a flickering bonfire on the horizon as they made their way home.
