A zombie next to Aneksi tries to swat at the battle maiden and misses.

"Yup, time to go." she declared, leaning over to take hold of Chiyuuai's reigns, giving the panicking steed a commanding look, and guiding her to follow along as she maneuvered Chishiyo their collective full speed (30') to the southeast, as far away from the zombies as she could bring her noncombatant husband. It wasn't the end for her of course, quickly pulling her Dai-Kyu out in preparation for striking down the enemies from a safe distance.

Asura trots up to another zombie and casually slashes at its neck causing a deep wound.

"S-sorry, Commander Tsuma..." Jinyu-Zhe would say quietly, a touch embarrassed. "Neither Chiyuuai nor I have seen zombies before..."
He would try to think of a way to be of assistance, but no ideas would come to him. His heart was still beating like an o-daiko in his chest, causing his mind to blank.

Gritting her teeth as blood was drawn, more of the zombies beating on her charge she drew another boomerang- beginning to grow very upset at these for not dying properly (or at all to her attacks so far) and took aim at the last one to strike Misaki, unable to help but articulate each motion of the throw to its neck.
She smiled for a moment, watching it sail, the throw complete and utter perfection, almost divine in form- until she watched it strike, and realized it had hit target, but not all that hard.
Once the boomerang had left her hand, she'd move to his side, blocking the last zombie from potentially approaching him from that side at least.
[Free Action: Draw Small Weapon]
[7k3 Athletics/Agility (Throwing): 23+23+9=55 vs ATN+10]
[Damage: 6+3=9]
[One raise for perfectionism, second raise for called shot to neck: targeting X4]

Asura rode forward going after one of the stragglers at the back, slashing at its neck with precision, lethality as the adrenaline finally started to kick Asura out of his sluggishness.

"Th-there's still one thing I c-can do," Jinyu-Zhe would tell Aneksi with an uncharacteristically shaky voice. Gesturing with both hands as if molding clay into a sphere, he would invoke the kami to bestow a bit of flight and motion into the person in the direction he faced: Misaski. With a quick move, he flashes his kama out, striking back at the zombie that had just struck him in the nose. He was getting tired of this s**t.
After the strike, he'd follow the path of the Kami and move away from the zombies, towards shugenja that had blessed him.

Aneksi kills one zombie by sending an arrow through it's neck. At first it looks as if it still tries to attack Juneko, but the head rolls of, flicking Juneko in what remains of it's blood. Then Asura cleaves the head off of one of the creatures, sending it to the earth! After Jinyu-zhe prayers to the kami on behalf of Misaki, the Mantis uses his kami to behead the zombie that punched him. Juneko is *Just* missed by the remaining Zombie.
