MosiPost Five 11 HP
- - -
I CHOOSE CHOICE A - - - The last thing she remembered was pain. When she opened her eyes, Mosi was alone in the dark, lying on the ground surrounded by smoke and shadow. The cool breeze that rustled her hair was far more welcome than the shooting agony that had rendered her unconscious, and eventually with its help she rose again, moving ahead at a slow shuffle.
There was a light in front of her but far away, and the promise of potential life rejuvenated her more than some refreshing air. The Yaelian paused when she saw the wheel, but recognition wasn't far behind, and when the man who had spun requested new bids, she raised her hand even though she had no money to speak of. She knew this game. It couldn't be that hard to win. Just as she was about to speak, she felt a gentle hand on her arm.
"Mosi?" It was Jal again, but rather than casting his attention on a sibling she didn't want, her brother's eyes and mischievous grin were all for her. "You're going to bet, right?"
"I was just about to," she said with a chuckle. "Calm down." And like that, her fear and frustration disappeared. Mosi raised a hand and placed a bet, her smile as broad as her brother's.

I CHOOSE CHOICE B Volkarosh 7 HP
The dream blipped out for a moment - or longer? Volkarosh was not sure. All she knew was that Direk had tired of her, had moved on, had stopped caring... but there she was again, around a table, nosing little discs into a central wheel. "What are you doing?" she asked. Making money, what did it look like? Direk answered her huffily. She thought it would be a good idea to do it. In fact, Volka should. "But what is it?" It was a game of chance - you put money on special squares and when the ball hits the color or the number or whatever, you get more money back. Obviously. It seemed simple enough to Volkarosh, but it also sounded... risky. "No, thanks." she said, "I don't really want to." The Aldabuck huffed and shoved a lot of the little coin discs onto a part of the board, turning to the wheel with intense eagerness. Suit yourself.

I CHOOSE CHOICE B Ruelash 13hp Ruelash was suddenly in a room. He knew his violence had failed, that they all had turned against him and... what was that? People. Lots of people and smoke, all looking at something. Doing something. Volka waved him over - she wanted him to play... something. Ruelash shook his head. No. No. He was done playing. Her eyes begged him, but he backed away. "N-nah." he said, trying to find a way out. She shrugged and shoved a pile of little discs into the table. Tall adults surrounded her and he was trapped by his desire to be away but, also, to protect her from these people... these bad, scary people. He grit his teeth - and his fists - and watched as the wheel turned...

I CHOOSE CHOICE A Votzhem 19 hp
Votzhem awoke - though it was a dream, and he was aware of that, so technically he semi-awoke - to find himself in a smoky room. The spinning of a wheel - more like a dial - made his antennae vibrate and he walked over, curious. "Hey! Vosh!" Kaalnia waved to him, a spot of bright green amidst the smoky shadows. He pushed his way through the crowd. "Kaa!" he gave her a hug - it was good to see her, it always was. "Whats this?" "A gambling game!" "Heh." Vosh leaned over, watching the round end. Kaalnia scooped her winnings to her, a big grin on her face. "Grats." "Thanks!" she winked at a female - clothed in what looked like glittering... petals? What else could produce a color that red? "You should try!" "Sure." He said. He didn't know where his discs came from, but they were money, "Sounds fun." he placed his bet. "Aren't you joining in?" he asked her... but she was already off after the lady. He snorted in amusement, and turned his attention to the wheel... C'mon, lady luck, spin spin spin and favor me...

I CHOOSE CHOICE A Dyakida 17hp
The noise, the sounds, the smells - they were suddenly deafening. Oddly, though, her dream-vision itself was not overwhelmed. The colors were muted by a smokey haze, the movements calm, even as the scene was hectic with excitement. Come and play! Dyakida didn't recognize the youngling that grabbed her arm and dragged her to a table, but their voice caressed her ears with friendship, and they felt familiar. Come!Dyakida watched the bets be placed, the wheel spin, the winners scoop up winnings and the losers glower at their ill luck. "Hmm..." she said, suddenly realizing she, herself, was in posession of discs of money. The youngling was gone, vanished into the crowd, but she had made her choice. "10 on red." she said, putting down her chips. Not all of them, of course not. Dyakida was not new to gambling...

I CHOOSE CHOICE C Hijil 21 hp
Hijil was overwhelmed by the people, the sounds, the smells. It took her a while to recognize where she was - though it wasn't so much recognition as understanding. This was a place where people counted, entirely, on luck to... do something. Hijil didn't entirely understand. "Hijil?" It was Bhima - she understood these things. As she took Hijil's arm, the big shifter relaxed - she always did, in the presence of her love. "What is this?" Hijil asked, belatedly - and with effort - remembering the berries at her side. Were they gone? Were they still there? She checked, anxiously - they were still there. "They are playing a game. People put down money and, When the ball on the wheel hits a spot, people get more than they put down if the square they put them down on is the same as..." Bhima knew she lost Hijil about then, and patted her arm. "Here." She said, taking Hijil to a table, "I'll show you." She put down a set of green glass discs on one of the colored squares and guided Hijil's hand to the berries. "Put a few of these down." The berries glittered, lively and blue on the board amidst glittering grystal discs as faceless people placed their bets. "See, now, if we win, we get more - more crystals and more berries." "For the children." Hijil couldn't tell if Bhima nodded - she was leaning on her shoulder. She didn't care about the game, honestly. She was just happy to be there, with Bhima, doing things with her. Though... if they got more berries or glass discs... that would be good.

V'demhePost 5 - Choice B HP 16I CHOOSE CHOICE B The table was empty when she noticed that she had nothing for herself. But she'd fed the little one. When V'demhe looked back she noticed that everyone else had fallen down. It caused her to be wary and once the little one dropped the food and fell she felt horrible. What had she done? What had happened!? If she'd not given her food to the child then they would be safe! What if it had been her girls? Dem wasn't sure what to do then. It was a lose lose for her. Wearing a frown she watched as the dream changed yet again. Decidedly she didn't like it and wanted to wake up now. However, it seemed like some kind of game was going on. People were excited by it and the noise made her antennae twitch. V'demhe felt a hand on her shoulder and looked back to see Virain with her. He was telling her to join in but she couldn't. After what had happened to the child she wasn't in a playing mood. So she shook her head to decline and watched as he placed a bid instead.

Draven HP: 12 post: 5
I CHOOSE CHOICE C
From one scene to the next, it was starting to make his head spin with all the changes. Shaking his head as it all changed once again, this time gambling seemed to be what was happening. Alrighty then... A friend was waving him over to one of the tables. Where a wheel was spinning and the person behind the table was calling bets.
Talking it over, Draven and his friend go half in on a bed, if anything happened they would share.

HuyanaPost 5 HP 18I CHOOSE CHOICE A He didn't get any food and his stomach let him know it but when people started dropping he lifted one brow oddly at it all. "Good thing I didn't eat then." Just as those words left him the scene changed before his eyes. Suddenly there were people on their feet again and it looked like there was some merriment going on. Huy moved in to see what it was all about and seemed to like what he saw.
Feeling the hand of someone on his shoulder he peeked at the owner. It was his Eiri! Instantly a grin took place and he took her hand in his as he turned to the bookie running the game. Placing a bet he watched the ball with anticipation.
