Cody looked at her when she helped him as well but he looked at her, "I can get the medicine, I am fine but you hurt your ankle." he said thinking that she needed to get off her leg before she hurt it more then needed.

Emily shook her head, "I am more concerned about you. You are bleeding." she got a pair of scissors and cut the fabric away from his wounds, "This looks bad." she commented to him. SHe looked at him very tenderly, "You saved my life, thank you."

Cody looked at her when she said that and saw that even though she was hurt, that she tended to his wounds. He allowed her to do so till she finished tending to him but then he helped her to the bedroom and had her sit down as he tended to her leg, having to gently reset it before putting it in a bit of a splint, "It doesn't seem too bad, you didn't break it but you should stay off it a bit.

Emily went to work on his wound. Cleaning it up with a sponge and wrapping it up in a band aide after smearing the area with ointment. She wasn't really wanting to stitch it up but it didn't look like he needed it. She was sure he could do that on his own. After cleaning up her hands, she was lifted off the ground and carried to her room. As he was examining it and fixing it, she winced quite a number of times. It was only after he was done that she spoke again, "Okay, I'll do as you say Nurse Cody!" she started to laugh but then calmed down. She reached for him, and pulled him into a deep, passionate kiss

Cody looked at her as she teased him with how she called him nurse Cody but he was just happy that she was alright and not as hurt as she could have been. He was checking her hand that she cut on the crystal when he found that she pulled him into a deep kiss but he kissed her back gently, sitting on the edge of the bed. When they broke the kiss, he gently smiled to her, "Hmm... best perk of being your nurse." He teased gently to her.

Emily blushed, "Sorry I did that. Oh the heck with it, I'm not sorry." she poke again, .looking in his eyes, "You saved my life, for that, I am eternally grateful."

Cody smiled to her when she said that but he shook his head, "I put your life in danger... and you saved me by attacking it with the crystal. You were amazing and brave." He said lovingly as he gently smiled, happy to know that she was okay and alive.

Emily smiled as she looked out the window, "I'm not sure if I want to go out there ever again." she frowned, "I'm a little scared."

Cody saw that she looked at the window but he looked at her, "You shouldn't be scared, just know that I will protect you from anything." He said reassuringly, "That wolf, was a shifter, just like me but he was a wolf shifter and in our culture, those of feline blood are usually considered royal so if a canine can kill a feline shifter, they get high praise in their society." He explained, "Which is why I am sorry that you got hurt because of me." He said softly.

Emily smiled for a short time, then it faded, "Are there any type of other shifters? Like maybe an aquatic animal." she asked, curious to see how deep this went. She scooted closer to Cody, wanting to be next to him and also because she was cold and needed some warmth

Cody nodded to her when she spoke, "Yeah, shifters aren't in large clusters or anything but their are enough shifters in the world to fill a few cities... and their are many kinds." He explained to her, "We do our best to keep hidden though, because it isn't something for humans to need to worry about." He said as some humans are scared of shifters and think that they could be a threat.

"I can understand the need to hide, but you don't need to worry about me worrying." Emily declared to him. She rested her head on his shoulder, "I would like to meet others of your kind. I wonder if they will like me." she pondered the question around before she yawned. Boy was she tired, "Hey listen, I'm going to go to sleep now." she wrapped her arms around him, hugged him, "Thank you again, for saving my life."

Cody looked at her when she spoke, but felt that she had rested against him a bit more. He gently got in the bed to where her head was resting on his chest, he thought it over as he gently rubbed her head, letting her get relaxed, "No need to thank me, I would do again and again if I ever had to." He said as he knew that he was starting to fall for her and would do anything to see her safe.

Emily closed her eyes and let herself fall bad on the bed with Cody. She reached over him with her arm, resting it across his chest in a half hug and curling into him some more. Her heart raced, and her cheeks went red. I love him......she thought to herself as she fell asleep

Cody looked at her as she fell asleep, she seemed very peaceful and beautiful. He gently brushed her hair back a bit more as she slept till he laid his head back on the pillows and fell asleep himself, wanting to get some sleep as well.
