At her husband's comment, she stuck her tongue out at him. While the desire was strong for whatever the box held within it (especially judging by the competition around them), the amusement of the game was refreshing from all the grim seriousness surrounding them.
Picking up another rock, she sent it sailing in the air for a second time, her voice having a tone of playfulness in it. "If I get this before you do, you realize your manhood's on the line, right?"
Apparently Adelaide was too busy snickering at the loving couple's exchange to actually do anything. Go figure, considering how much fun she had listening to radio bullcrap.

Not giving him time to respond, she hurled it up and towards the box, once again holding her breath as she watched it fly.

"Give us the dirty details, Tats," she added in agreement, clearly enjoying herself even as her rock went way too low and pegged some other inmate instead. Whoops.

Leggings? "I've got a towel with ducks on it," He offered, grinning a bit more madly now. Animal prints, ducks... close enough! Her question made Al look thoughtful, sucking a breath slowly through his teeth as he watched her scoop up another rock.
"Well," He began, only for Lola to throw the rock and for it to ricochet off the lamp post and smack him right in the cheek. Pain roared through his ears, and the man swore with a howl. Looks like those ears hadn't healed up nearly as much as he thought.
With watering eyes, he realized the older gal standing next to them was addressing him, and after a shaky breath, he managed to give her his best smile.
"I would, ma'am, but it might be a little too coarse for public, you know?"

She winced as she watched her rock land waywardly against her husband's face, one hand moving up to cover her mouth in shock.

Her surprise turned to flushed embarrassment, however, after hearing his comment to Adelaide.
"I could aim for your head this time, maybe it'll bounce off of it and hit the box instead?" Her threat was still lighthearted, a weak attempt to make up for the fact he'd forced a blush out of her.
Tossing her third - or was it fourth? - rock, she was starting to give up home that she had any sense of aim at all.

"You do that," Al started with mock-menace lacing his tone, but he was pretty pleased with himself for getting her to color. Before he could continue, the other woman spoke, and he found himself eyeing her wounded arm. A hurt limb... Christ, he'd consider the hearing loss lucky, as long as he had someone to watch his back.
"You'd basically be a sitting duck." He grimaced, shaking his head. Being blind would be worst of all, no doubt about that. "But maybe you should check yourself out too, eh? Broken, or sprained?

This "hell" as the woman had called it brought back a serious expression on Lola's face. She stood there, somberly, as she launched another rock. As much fun as it was to throw rocks at things like little hellions, the reality of the situation was still looming over all of their heads.

"Dislocated shoulder," she replied with a wrinkled expression. "It'll heal. Bandaged it up myself actually in the ward just before I got here." It was...Well, it could have been done better, but it would do for now.
This time Adelaide did put some effort into her swing, squinting at the fixture before she pinwheeled her good arm and knocked the box right off. "Haha! Lucky parka," she cheered as she collected her prize. "You two play nice now. Or naughty~ Doesn't matter to me so long as I watch."

For an old lady, she sure could swing!
Chuckling to herself, she moved to lean against her burly man, mindful not to brush her cheek or anything lower against his arm as she pressed into him. Her jaw was still sore - at least the tongue's swelling had gone down enough that she was now understandable.
"Beaten by an old lady - you're going to have to make up your manly points somehow, sugar." One hand slipped into his while the other moved to rest on his shoulder. Turning her head towards Adelaide, she nodded, "Congratulations, old gal. It's good to know one of us can throw."
Unfortunately for Vayne he came strolling back out to the yard just in time to see someone bat a box out of a tree. It seemed that the supplies had come while he was sleeping in his cell. Pressing his fingers to the bridge of his nose, over his piercings he sighed. Sleeping in was apparently not a good idea. "s**t... oh well nothin' can be done about it." He walked over and nodded at the one that had just got the box. "Good swing, home you got somethin' useful." Being ticked at himself didn't mean he had to be a jerk after all.

His hair is pale blond, and he is covered in pierceings . His cold golden eyes are always seeking details and memorizing what may come in handy later.
Vayne's punk style shows just how much he disdains mainstream, and his attitude fully reflects all of that being rather cold. He ignores anything that he doesn't like and has snide comments ready. He is very attentive though, taking notes in his mind and paying attention to details that most would care very little for.
