Having finally composed herself, Alice shook the bog water out of her hair and put her focus on the battle. So far, not much had occurred... though she did feel a bit guilty for laughing so hard at her poor partner's plight. So she pulled herself together, and clapped her hands together. "It's okay, Vorpal! You can do this-- Shadow Sneak!"
Horrifying. Bugs were disgusting! The Honedge was still shuddering as he heard Alice's voice. He couldn't hold a grudge against his trainer for very long; she just didn't know any better. He closed his eye, drawing on the power of his shadow, and spending it out into the water. The shadow snaked out, probing at the armor to look for a c***k through with it could attack

Landing on the grass with a hop and skip, the Pidove would quickly fold in it's wing as if it were sheathing a blade. That had been one coo-l move it had just pulled, proof of why it was the champion of the flock if not their leader. Still it wasn't enough, at least not a Fire-type. Though it was clear Longwei might want to think twice before underestimating this bird. Turning about the Pidove would puff itself up, attempting to make itself look more threatening as it's kind often did. All the while as it raised it's wings it prepared to take off at any second. Or at least flap backwards. He wasn't stupid after all.
Unfortunately it would seem despite how much it spent in it, the Shelmet's defense was not water-tight. That meant a shadow of all things would indeed have an easy enough time getting in and scrambling things about. With a scream the bug's shell would pop open, the Shelmet scrambling against the water and planting one on Vorpal once more. Leech Life to save her soul from the darkness this was.

Argyle scowled, an expression he was getting a lot more use out of today given he didn't have to hide it from anyone. The Carbink was unfortunately still standing. Given their track record today most things had fallen over by now. Apparently it was a sturdy little rock if nothing else. "Give it another Mud-slap!" He commanded. It may not have finished it off but it had at least proven to be a pretty descent blow.
">Well if you insist<" Jekyll would reply, not making it clear if he was talking to his trainer or the Carbink. Scooping up what mud had hit the 'ground' as well as a little extra dirt, the Croagunk would shove it all into his mouth. After a quick chew the Poison-type would then stick out his tongue and pretend to vomit it all over his foe. If nothing else this probably counted as psychological warfare...or simply 'careful what you wish for!'.
Starter Pokemon: Croagunk [M] Name & Level: Jekyll, Lv 4 [Temperament] Naughty Bio:The story of how Argyle met Jekyll is a bit of an odd one. After purchasing a bulk shipment of skin rejuvenating mud from Sinnoh's Great Marsh (Guarnteed to take twenty years off your appearance!), Mistress Rosevelt had set aside some time for a fully immersive experience with the product, during which she received quite the surprise. It would seem the mud had come with stowaway in the form of an egg. Unfortunately it was about this same time the egg decided to hatch, splattering the aristocratic woman with muck and eggshell. After a shriek and shrill cry for the nearest Argyle to attend her, Verde arrived and was immediately ordered to dispose of the creature, although not before cleaning up the mess it had created. Whispering a snide remark just below his breath, both Mistress and Argyle were in for a surprise when the newly born Croagunk began to snicker devilishly. It seemed the Poison-type had heard the boy, and shared his sense of humor. Amused by this fact the young Butler then went about the task of convincing Mistress Rosevelt that the Croagunk would be quite useful in his regular duties, allowing him to make the manor to "shine as radiantly as you do Mistress Rosevelt". Little more in the way of convincing was required on the boy's part, and so he obtained his first and for the time being only Pokemon.
Since then Jekyll has proven a good match for Argyle, frequently snickering at the boy's comments be they made aloud, or simply implied. Unlike Argyle however Jekyll does nothing to hide his wicked nature, frequently mocking others quite openly and then laughing about it. Though cruel he is not crude, and more than willingly to amuse himself by catching the enemy off guard. Stats: HP: 10/19, PP: 21, ATK: 12, DEF: 9, SPD: 10, SP-ATK: 11, SP-DEF: 8 MOVES: - Astonish - Headbutt - Meditate - Mud-slap Held Item: EXP: 77/125
It's Whirlpool once again started up the Baroach would simply endeavor to keep it going, regardless of how much acid it may or may not have been drawing in towards itself. It was singularly focused in it's task!
That had hurt pretty bad. The Houndour rolled, sprawled out on the ground in a lump. Staggering to his paws, his eyes gleamed as the Rage began to pulse through his body. There was no way he was going to lose to this...bird. Dogs were good for chasing and catching these things. On top of that, he had to protect Jin-Hua. Snarling and growling, the red consumed his vision. This time, he let loose completely letting the adrenaline pump through his veins. Feeling it pulse through as the anger and fury began to kick in, he charged ready to try and snap down his opponent with Rage!

(20-11)+(11-16) = 4 x 2 = 8 DMG! Carbink is at 3 HP! +1 to Jekyll's attacks!
>Why does this keep happening...< the Carbink moaned, trying to shake off the mud off his rocky bits. Just because he was a fairy stone didn't mean that he appreciated having MORE put on him! Especially when it had been in the mouth of his enemy... an enemy that looked, quite frankly, like a huge creep. Who KNOWS how much butter that thing had churned? He needed to get himself together. Shutting his eyes, he pulled the mud more and more onto himself... he was attempting to Harden and raise his defense!

The small android couldn't help cheering at the impressive hit her Honedge landed. "Keep it up! Pull back, and try not to let her kiss you this time!" Perhaps not the most well-explained advice she'd ever given, but it at least it was good advice... provided he could follow it.
>Tch.< Vorpl couldn't help showing off a bit, flicking his tasseled cloth over his hilt and chuckling. >Nothing can escape the shado-- oh no.< The screaming kissy-faced monster was bearing down on him, and he had no idea if he could avoid it. With as much quickness as he could manage, he jerked back, trying to weave away... he was not a romantic.
Apparently weaving back and forth just didn't cut it as the Shelmet managed to land a big wet one on just the tip of Vorpal's blade. This time however she'd quickly fall off, barely managing to siphon off any vigor from this sword. Plunging back into the water and skipping onto a smaller Lilypad the Shelmet would once more clamp down and desperately attempt to defend herself!

Standing on the sidelines....well if you could call them that considering proximity to the actual battle....Argyle's brow would knit together as he contemplated their next move. The Carbink's attack was weak, but any further assault on it would just strain Jekyll's muscles. Were the risks worth the rewards?
Gritting his teeth after a moment's more deliberation the boy would shake his head. Best not to risk it.

With a beat of it's mighty wings the Pidove would cause the Houndour to once again fail, his light body flickering out of the way of it's rage fueled attack. ">Your anger makes you blind!<" The Pidove cooed as he rose into the air, his wings shining as he swooped down and forward once more. He planned to strike with another Steel Wing!

Jekyll's comments and all-around gross actions were more than enough to break the Carbink's focus. Distracted, it'd open its eyes and give the Croagunk another glare. >You're truly something else, you know that?< it seethed, puffing up in as threatening a manner as it could (given it was a fluffy rock fairy, this probably wasn't as much as it could have hoped. It pulled back slightly, attempting another curled-in defensive maneuver .

"Don't you know when to back off?" Alice called out to the Shelmet, not expecting much of an answer. She didn't particularly like seeing her constant companion upset. Fortunately, he was a very tough sword... and she was counting on him to be even tougher. "Once again! Shadow Sneak, Vorpal-- you can do this!"
>I can...< Vorpal muttered in a dazed voice, still baffled by the overly-affectionate Shelmet. He needed to end this, before she got any ideas, and he lost any more of his dignity. Drawing from the naturally-darkened portions of the bog, he'd send his own shadow out under the water and onto the lilypad, his eye glowing with th energy.

Despite it being her strongest natural defense the Shelmet's shall was really not performing up to par today. Clanking her shell open and closed a few times in annoyance, the insect would skip across the water as she once more flung herself at the Honedge. Maybe if she wrapped herself up in the sash she could suck it up and get more energy! Leech Life for the win!
"Alright Jekyll it's time to end this farce! MUD-SLAP!" Argyle called out. He'd be more than happy to see this battle end. May he not encounter anything else made of stone for awhile. Well except the one's he was standing on of course.
