Larque. Tamiya breathed easier. The slew of verses coming from her mouth slowed and she allowed his presence to strengthen her. A smile sprung to her lips. She braced her hands on her weapon and gave him a firm nod, the growl still rooted in her tone. "Larque! My precious darkness, friend of destruction. You are... ******** here for me..."
It was as emotional as she could manage before she swiveled her head to view the onslaught. The rebels were doing significant damage to the greenblood, it seemed, but their numbers would no doubt overpower them. Her task was to bring in the mutant and cleanse Alternia. The highest task.
"I am satisfied knowing your ******** expertise is with me; let us FIGHT!"
Invigorated, Tamiya leapt back into the fray with her friend at her side.

Lorata dropped the drone she'd been shaking, sniffing disdainfully as his head hit the ground. Was it really that hard to get over whatever little scratches he'd taken? Pulling herself to her feet, she moved back to her initial spot to shout at a more worthy soldier. "Kill them!"
Sights set, grudge intensifying. "Eat this!" she intoned Kursha's way, shooting at his limbs. She wondered if others thought to try to down him. Was anyone here trying strategy, or just attack attack attack? HP: 17/20 Attack: 3 + 1 = 4 Inventory: Agility trinket

"Wait! It's not safe!" Tevini gasped as Cerpin climbed out in an act of insanity. She'd finally made a potential ally and he was willingly entering the fray! Scuttle was dragged forward while she clung inside, knowing better than to try and get out while her lusus was in motion. What was that troll thinking?! It was much smarter to hide!
Cerpin fell down and Blossmom managed to boot a trio of nearby drones but they still weren't in the clear. One drone near them started to head over in Byakko's direction with Cerpin directly in it's path, causing Scuttle to panic and roll forward to protect the kid, even if it wasn't his kid! Bumping the drone out of the way (and directly into a nearby battle), they avoided an injury but there were still many little skirmishes to come!
Scuttle has taken down 1 drones!

Ma'am nearly attacked Azrael in surprise, but fortunately some of the swarm recognized him and, further, recognized him as not a threat. The cloud of cockroaches shifted, moving to attack and block as the fighting intensified.
Psykgi, for her part, was relieved. ”You do have a point!” she said, reluctantly. She was a little too close to the nonsense for comfort, and a lot was happening. And, though she didn't mind a little danger, she realized she didn't really feel like being seriously injured today.
She followed Azrael gamely, first aid kits in hand and in backpack, to where another highblood was... doing her thing. ”Hello, hello.” she said, injecting a drone with a syringe labeled Stamina Juice, ”I'm Psykgi, nice to meet you!” The middle of battle was a perfect time for trolls to introduce themselves, right?

Zariah inhaled sharply, worry written all over his features as he watched his sister be struck by a blueblood. He cringed at the sound of her ribs taking the full brunt of that blow. He needed to help! Not just stand there watching his lusus and his sister do all the work! What was he doing no fighting.....he was a disgrace as a troll! He could be out there fighting...but instead he was cowered watching their lusus bat at the drones, dragging one towards its large, eager body and chomping down hard on the patiful drone. Dmg Done: 2
Fury still coursing through her veins, the tealblood slashed again, shoving at a few drones before clenching her sharkteeth in anger. No one could stop her right now-- Not even Anguis. Forera was, simply, lost.

Spotting a downed drone, Hazmas hurried over, his lusus hot on his heels. Quickly, he stuffed a hand into his satchel and pulled out some salve. "C'mon, c'mon! Get yourself pulled together! Can't help anyone lying on your back!"
Zindel was still in shock when he saw the blinding light of the bomb lash on the floor. Everything was in slow mo as he ran toward the leader, grabbing onto his jagged daggers and slashing at her unsurely. Maybe he could avoid hitting her next time...

"Don't shirk your duty," Dictys hissed at a drone near the back of the fray. Ey shoved sharp little fingernails. "Don't you understand? This is your last chance to do your duty for Alternia. You might even manage to at least obtain some sort of accolade."
Although personally Dictys wouldn't give this troll anything of the sort. Hanging back when trolls much younger than they moved forward?
Hemera reassured him that things would be okay. Smiling warmly, a rare sight indeed, he nodded. "I'll drag you along too. And no, no harm." At least not physically, "How about you? You seem fine."
Afryse turned to the Drones and spoke up, his voice harsh and serious, "Don't let us down! We need you to fight for us!"
Miache wound up for another swing at the leader mutantblood and whiffed it, his staff weakly passing through thin air as he nearly toppled himself over. He flushed deeply in shame and grit his teeth. How humiliating...

AERONA IS ATTACKING KURSHA (note to other players: Aerona is disguised and is wearing a mask) 20/20
"Mask?" Aerona forgot that it was more common now for counter-nicknames to be given. Well, it beat "Red" and "Freckles". She laughed. "Sure, lady! Let's do this!"
Aerona had a false start getting into the fray. She ducked under a drone as she was attacked, keeping close to Vremea and keeping an eye out for Kursha.

This round will continue for 2h, then all boss damage and half-hour posts must stop until tomorrow evening. (6pm EST) Trolls can pvp and rp and people can fill in posts during the mean time.
There are 40 drones collapsed from fatigue! Byakko takes 80 extra damage! 31 drones get back up, encouraged to keep fighting!
Please post the boss you are attacking in your initial post, and edit immediately for damage done! If posts do not have damage filled in within 10/20 minutes they will have to be overlooked.
If you have not posted in the previous rounds: Now is your time to decide what team to be on. Your first attack will decide what group you are fighting on, attack Kursha to be on the side of the rebels, and Byakko to be on the side of the royalists.
All posts must have minimum two sentences of writing in them to count towards growth/meta rewards.

During a break in the gunfire, Kursha let out a bark of laughter. “Not bad! Not bad!” He exclaimed. There was a dull pain from his injuries, but it was nothing next to the thrill of battle. Even so he positioned himself temporarily behind a wall of fighters. Withdrawing a handful of fresh ammunition, he reloaded the rifle. “And here I thought this would be boring. But whattaya say we stop playing around? Settle this like adults?” Offering them a wolfish grin, he raised the stock to his shoulder. One eye closed and he took aim. “‘Course there’s no reason we can't still have fun...!” There was a fiery bang as the cartridge detonated on impact.
If you rolled a 1, Kursha is a practised marksman, and he has selected you as his target. Congratulations! The cartridge explodes on impact, leaving you with a nasty burn. Take 5 damage. Take 1 damage per half-hour post for this round. If you rolled a 2, fortunately, you manage to escape Kursha’s attention. Unfortunately, your neighbour does not. The explosion is close enough that the radiating heat burns you. Take 4 damage. If you rolled a 3, you dodge the bullets, but in the surrounding chaos it is difficult to navigate. Suddenly a nearby explosion knocks some debris free and a solid chunk nails you in the back. Take 3 damage. If you rolled a 4, you see the barrel of the gun point towards you and know you’re in trouble. Thinking quickly, you duck behind a troll in uniform. As the cartridge strikes, they burst into flame and you hear a screamed curse. Take 2 damage. If you rolled a 5, While Kursha is reloading, you see your opportunity. Darting through the melee, you strike him while his guard is down. Success! The blow leaves him dazed. Take 2 damage. +1 accuracy for this round. If you rolled a 6, possessed by a sudden recklessness, you charge Kursha head-on. He sees you coming and fires off a round, but the shot just grazes you. Before he can fire again, you swoop in for a crushing melee attack. Take 3 damage but deal +3 this attack.
Half hour options: Fight! Teens and up can choose to attack Kursha once every half hour, as normal. Teens and up can also attack trolls on the other side as though they were fighting in a normal battle thread, however they will not be able to attack children as their Lusii will shield them from harm. If you want to attack other trolls, please read the PVP rules below to keep the battle controlled, fair, and friendly. Assist! Kids can roll 1d4 every half hour to get their lusus to take out some of those annoying drones! Whatever number they roll is the amount of drones they take out with their lusus-jitsu.
Ripping violently through the main head quarters of the Initiative, the royalist forces continued their aggressive pursuit. They forced the rebels to flee deeper into the sprawling underground caves. You could hear Byakko urgently ordering her troops over the cries of battle, but couldn't quite make out any words. She gestured wildly with her kanabo. Splitting suddenly from the group with Zeffer and Forera, she veered away from the others and down a branching tunnel.
Mere seconds later they reappeared, each clutching grenades. Byakko visibly quivered with rage. Mutant pink blood was beginning to seep through her robes, staining the pelt she wore. "Did you think you could just walk on in here and take us down without a real fight? If you turn back now, you might actually survive this!" She furiously bellowed. Ripping the pullrings out with her teeth, Akko lobbed the whistling canisters with all the force she could muster. Tendrils of yellowish tear gas began to snake through the cavern, obscuring the rebels as the chemical smog thickened.
If you rolled a 1, you closed your eyes and held your breath. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if you did that. Right? You were horribly wrong, and only manage to make everything worse by running full force into a jutting pillar of stone. Winded, you tried to catch your breath, only sucking in more of the corrosive fog. The burning is unlike anything you've ever experienced. Take 6 damage, and deal -1 damage for each attack this round. If you rolled a 2 you gasped desperately for air, but it was fruitless. Your throat and eyelids swell shut, filling with mucus as your body tries to fend off the tear gas. You choke on your own bodily fluids. Take 4 damage and deal no damage this attack. If you rolled a 3 you can't make out who pushed you over through the yellowish cloud. Unable to redirect your momentum, you also can't tell who you in turn sent careening against the tunnel wall. The second troll crumpled against the floor, motionless. Hopefully they weren't on your side. Take 3 damage, and deal half damage this attack. If you rolled a 4 the haze nearly blinded you. In a fit of hysteria, you flail and brandish your weapon about wildly- somehow managing to smack around a rebel, and not one of your comrades. Take 2 damage. Deal 1 extra damage this attack. If you rolled a 5, weaving through the tangle of clashing forces, you lock your sights on their leader. She takes note, turning to lunge and counter attack with a feral snarl- but your reflexes proved superior, sending her tumbling backwards to retreat into the fog. Follow her trail of blood and swoop in to take 2 damage, deal 1 extra damage- and also roll with +1 accuracy this round. If you rolled a 6, roused by the thrill of battle, all of your senses seemed heightened despite the intense stinging at every membrane. Seemingly unphased by the tear gas, you ferociously kick Byakko's kanabo from her grasp before wailing on her in a blurr of successive strikes, dealing an extra 2 damage.

They did as he had planned, and soon an opening appeared in front of him. Ganyma grinned under his mask and darted away, making sure she was in tow. She looked ready to stab him with both daggers, so Ganyma wrenched Kursha's arms away for the quick attack. Guerilla style - best for them to make a quick exit. They did good. He smiled.
