With a soft yawn, Alexandra quickly concluded that, after Aja found her last star shard, the two would part ways and she herself would find herself a room for the night at the pokecenter. Tomorrow morning she would start focusing in on training up her pokemon, though of course before then she needed to finalize which region she'd be returning to.

The more she thought about the more Alexandra began to realize that, returning to Sinnoh, would be in her best interests. She'd already started training Siemens and Faye in preparation of Crasher Wake's water-type pokemon, and with her fourth gym badge she'd be able to command her pokemon further as they continued to grow stronger. With a nod Alexandra confirmed, mentally, that this was the plan she'd follow through with and turned to check her watch once more; though she wasn't exactly impatient, she was eager for Aja to return.

The flight into Kanto was a quiet one, as Zero soared overhead on the ashen beast. The Darkrai spoke not a word as she rested on the young man's shadow, stretched across the flying-type's back. The ocean seemed to stretch on in every direction, occasionally broken up by sparse islands that ranged from fully developed to utterly uninhabited. There were times when they did fly over large landmasses, but for the most part it was just an endless blue until he drew closer and closer to the region itself. From there, it was fairly easy to spot where everything was, at least at his angle. He could see a few towns over, spot the dense forests of Kanto, and of course, the imposing Mt. Silver that stood between it and Johto. He'd seen it all a few times before, but now would be the first time he wouldn't be with someone else. He tried not to think about it too much, though, and simply landed wherever Ashen chose to do so. It was Cerulean, as it turned out, a place he'd heard about from time to time before now. But once he landed, he simply returned his Charizard to his ball, and began to wander, hoping to find something that would occupy his time while he was there.

The young man walked a modest distance as he wandered, before finally finding something he could spend some time on. Beside the threshold of a wide, golden bridge, was a gathering of trainers, who watched as two of them squared off one after the other, whoever stepped up going up against the winner of the previous bout. He didn't exactly plan on battling at first, as he simply decided to join the crowd to start with and see how some of the lower-leveled trainers fought, but before he knew it, he was called out by the boy in the center, seemingly confident that he could defeat the newcomer. Zero didn't exactly protest much, opting to just take the opportunity to train his pokemon and kill more time. Unfortunately for all these fresh faces though, he had no intention of holding back.

As the first trainer ran off to quickly heal his pokemon, it didn't take long for Zero's next challenger to approach. Unlike the previous trainer, they didn't use any singular type, but they still just so happened to line up with one of Agidyne's attacks, which meant he could still clear them out without issue. Just as before, one attack each, and all three pokemon went down, making way for the next batch. Smooth sailing, thus far at least.

Seconds turned into minutes but eventually Aja returned, a wide and prideful grin on her face. The woman sashayed her way back over to Alexandra, flashing her a quick peek of her star shard before she slipped it away into her bag. "Alright, that's the last one!" she announced proudly, leaning casually against Tropius in the process. "Thanks again, Alex. For helping me out." The young brunette pushed the frames of her glasses up the bridge of her nose, "it wasn't as if I had much of a choice. I was being chased after all," she reminded her, though the slight smile on her face showed that she wasn't truly miffed. "True, but you could've left at anytime. All those cities, all those chances~"
Aja produced a smirk before she pushed off Tropius and gave a stretch. "Well, it's getting late. Should probably turn in for the night, yeah?" she suggested, and once she'd received an affirming nod from Alexandra began to waltz her way towards the Pokémon Center. She stopped, however, after a moment and threw the other female an over-the-shoulder glance. "Actually, you go on ahead, I'll meet you in the cafeteria, I've got something I need to finish up first." Alexandra raised an eyebrow, but then gave a nod before walking ahead of Aja.

Though she'd never visited the city before, it wasn't hard to locate the Pokémon Center, after all the buildings all looked the same-- no matter the region. Once inside Alexandra made it a point to heal her pokemon before she made her way down to the cafeteria, where she managed to snag a table large enough for all of their party, pokemon included. With a gentle sigh the brunette rolled her shoulders as she sat down, trying to relieve some of the pent-up tension in them, before she began releasing all of her team; two minutes later and she found herself surrounded by all twelve. "Let's go get you all something to eat," she suggested before she stood to her feet, Hercules and Caldo following, it would seem that she'd have a few helpers with her.
By the time Alexandra had made the three trips necessary, Aja had finished attending to her business, whatever that was, and was busy picking off a tray--Alexandra's tray-- and feeding the Pidgey on her shoulder. "...I'll go grab another tray," Alexandra spoke aloud, which earned a wide grin from Aja. "Good idea!" she chirped, right before picking up a sandwich--Alexandra's sandwich-- and taking a bite out of it. Ah... and here she'd almost forgotten the joys of eating a meal with others.

"So, what are your plans for now?" Aja asked halfway through their dinner, catching Alexandra off-guard and mouthful. She swallowed her bite of food before gently sliding her tray away from her, she was almost done anyway. "I plan on heading back to Sinnoh to challenge Crasher Wake," she answered. The young woman perked up at that information before immediately breaking out into a grin. Which... immediately made Alexandra wary. "I'll give you a ride back up there," Aja eventually offered, reaching over to feed her Pidgey a cracker. "Thoooough, if you're in need of a training spot, I know of a place we can visit along the way." Alexandra raised an eyebrow at that. It wasn't as if she... doubted her supplementary companion's knowledge, she was just surprised that she was even offering it up. "Oh, do you? And where is that?"
Aja held up a finger, signaling that Alexandra should wait while she took another bite of her sandwich, before she answered. "Solaceon Ruins. Not a lot of people visit it either, so you would be free to train without interruption." The brunette pursed her lips at the suggestion, considering it a moment. Though outwardly she was rather composed, thoughtful even, inwardly Alexandra jumped at the chance to explore an area so rich with discovery and... history, as the ruins. She'd visited the city, Solaceon, before, as a child, but she'd never been allowed inside-- now would be her chance.
"If it wouldn't be too much of a hassle on your part, I shall accept." Alexandra nodded before she returned to her food. It wasn't long before they had all finished their dinner and, after clearing their trays and returning all her pokemon, Alexandra returned to the lobby to collect a room key for the night from Nurse Joy. "We'll meet back up here tomorrow morning at eight, alright?" Aja planned, claiming her own room key and twirling it around on her finger. "Yes, I'll see you then." Alexandra bowed her head. "Have a good night." Aja nodded and gave a sweeping curtsey before she bounced off towards her room, the Pidgey chirping irritably before taking flight to follow after their trainer.

The book had guided her and informed her where one could find the Gym. It was exactly where it had said it would be which meant she was that close to challenging the Gym Leader. She took in a deep breath and began her journey over to those door. Once she actually was there she would need to switch out her Pokemon so that they would be ready to face the Gym Leader. And so the journey of pressing many buttons began. Taking out the Pokedex Misa got straight to work on switching out her current party with Pokemon that had been trained for the moment or were her current strongest party members. That included bringing back Dewgong, Pidgeotto and Pikachu. It was nice to see familiar faces back at her hips. The teen didn’t need to look at her Pokemon to know that they were looking forward to this battle. It was about time that this battle was about to take place. Now that she stood in front of the Gym there was nothing else that could stop her from going in there to battle Misty, the Water-type specialist.

As Misa entered the gym and called out a challenge to Misty, one of the swimmers in the pool made his way to the edge and pulled himself up slightly, adjusting his goggles and swimming cap. "You want to challenge Misty?" he inquired, wiping at his face and blinking several times. Misa wouldn't be given a chance to answer as one the other swimmers, a girl, who sat on the floor giggled and glanced over to the far end of the pool. "Miiiiisty~ You've got a challenger!" she called over to the orange haired girl with a towel around her neck. "Huh? Alright! Tell them to come on over!" Misty yelled, then waited for Misa to join her. "Welcome to the Cerulean Gym! If you couldn't already tell, I'm Misty." She introduced herself, stretching her arms. Perhaps the girl may have been momentarily blind to have missed the swimmers. Well, she had been more focused on the Gym Battle than those who trained under her. When one of Misty’s apprentice asked about her desire to challenge the Gym Leader. Though, she couldn’t get a word in when another swimmer called out to the Gym Leader. To be honest, the girl was nervous when someone with an authoritative voice called out to her challenger. It looked like Misa had to make her way there and indeed she would. The teen walked carefully over to the red-head woman with the towel around her neck. ”Maybe it will be the other way around.” Misa tossed Pikachu’s ball out and a burst of yellow came out.
