Gen catches a brief glimpse of Zedd having a conversation with one of the guests and she quickly averts her gaze before she could catch his eye. A bead of sweat forms on her temple. "And what reasons might they be?"

Thornwick Gen catches a brief glimpse of Zedd having a conversation with one of the guests and she quickly averts her gaze before she could catch his eye. A bead of sweat forms on her temple. "And what reasons might they be?" Leaf's mouth opens and closes a few times as his brow furrows. "I think it would be very impolite if I were to mention these reasons - particularly when there's such a good--" He glances briefly in the direction of a shouting dancer. "Mostly good atmosphere." The elf returns his gaze to Gen. "Something on your mind?"

The drawer closes with a satisfied snap before Quentin takes Dark's hands and begins waltzing her all over the ballroom.* ^.^ Charlotte- *looks over at Sulphur* <.< What are you jealous about? Chou- *smirks* Looks like someone's upset that they're still on the dance floor when they'd rather be whisked off some place more private~ >3 Lucanus- What's that, Ba-chiin? *runs his nose along the side of Bane's neck* You want Blood-play, tonight? *thinks* Well, it is Christmas Eve and I am feeling generous~

The elf returns his gaze to Gen. "Something on your mind?" Gen's looks up at Leaf. "Hmm? Oh, nothing--the shouting's just rather distracting. But you are totally right: it was impolite of me to ask." Catching sight of Quentin careening in their direction, Gen steps out of the way and waves to Dark as she sweeps past. "So, what have you been up to, these days, Leaf?"

Isn't that right, Ba-chiin? Tell them about the night of the Wartenberg wheel. Maxwell- *sips on his punch and turns to Rachel and Maureen* <.<; Sometimes I wonder if Gen and Dark actually do have authority over some of their characters...
