I didn't see this question asked anywhere and I can't find anything that quite answers it anywhere.
I'm currently building on my character's backstory for the profile. I understand that this city is in America and such and there are all sorts of different species and whatnot.
My question(s) has to do with the overall world setting.
Is this an alternate universe where other species have always been known and accepted? Is it a setting where supernatural/preternatural/etc. species have lived in hiding until recently? Or is it one where they are still in hiding, but they are open in certain areas, such as Soleil city?
Sorry if this isn't relevant in any way. ^^

It's been a heck of a crazy work week. @ ^ @
But I'd have to say it's a bit of a mixture! Personally, I imagine supernatural beings living in the city are aware of others since it probably spreads pretty easily through the community.
Buuuut, on the other hand the human side of the community is kind of a mixed bag. Those that have encountered them before are aware of probably just the ones they've encountered (and may be suspect to others thriving in the city) - and those that haven't might just think it's a myth or may not know they exist at all. u v u

Are pictures for the rooms a necessity? For whatever reason, an example being technology hating my guts, I’m unable to get any links and whatnot much less any close to how my character would have the place decorated through his own means.

I recently looked through the rules again and didn't see the rule stating six characters were the maximum without getting special permission. Did that rule get changed/eliminated or did I just miss something?
