Well . . . *looks off to the side* There is a possibility.
(I thought she was a girl. A-am I wrong? )

... How dead am I?
(The avi is a girl, but the previous outfit made her look like a pretty boy to me.)

It is so. Have you ever had the audacity to be human around her? Your elf-friend is a smidgen bit racist.
She has her moments though. W-well no, b-but okay I'll give you that. She has her reasons though . . . I-I'm not saying it's right, b-but I can understand.

*has the horrible urge to say, pretty dead, but doesn't and simply gets up* I-I'd rather not get anyone upset so I'll stop.
(So, reverse trap . . . sort of? )

(Sort of.
I won't let Daenes know if you want to keep snuggling her writer.)

Wellll...okay. So like, I have a bit of a complex fashion categorization and philosophy, basically here we are talking about four categories that clothing can fit into: feminine, masculine, men's wear, women's wear.

From those four categories you can get 4 binary fashion relations:

feminine mens wear (close fitted, well tailored, (generally) darker colors)
Fiction Example: Rosalind Lutece from Bioshock

feminine womens wear (loose fit, flowing fabrics with a nice hand, (generally) lighter colors)
Fiction Example: Giselle from Enchanted

masculine mens wear (loose fit clothes, boxy shapes, dark or bright colors)
Fiction Example: Max Goof from The Goof Troop

masculine womens wear (loose fit, boxy shapes, earthy tones and sometimes deep colors)
Fiction Example: Brienne of Tarth from Game of Thrones

Theoretically you could also have feminine masculine and men's wear women's wear, but for these purposes those sets are undefined. Or have the categories recursively relate to themselves but I feel like I'm probably already gonna confuse you if I don't keep this simple.

Now if you pay a lot of attention to this, you notice trends, such like people who identify as female prefer the feminine modifier in their wardrobes. This does not meant that all people who prefer feminine are women (or for the sake of this conversation, dresses) but there is a certain way people who prefer a feminine adjective to their wardrobe pieces dress (and you could argue into infinity whether that relates to genetic or environmental factors).

Most of your personal fashion choices for your avis and your characters falls into 'feminine mens wear'. Which here, within the confines of my definition, means you tend to prefer darker colors and more tailored fits. I actually can't think of a single counter example of all tekteks you've made that doesn't contradict this, with the exception of crack babies when you've actively tried to make some children's outfits feminine women's wear (and are obviously not super comfortable with it, most of the outfits feminine women's wear outfits you've done look like you physically fought them and gave up as soon as the avi was decent).

I say that Nef might lean more to the feminine side of the scale because the silhouette for a few of his outfits has been less tailored and more flowing. I believe this happens because you are making an effort to have him come across as appealing to women and are (I believe) subconsciously doing this by trying to make him more like a women, because this is what you prefer (again this is just my theory as to why this might be happening).

But your preference for feminine mens wear is what tends to make your avatars (including your trench war fare elf get up you got goin' on!) seem female to me. I know that others have confused a few of them for guys, but some people never evolve their fashion awareness much past "boys wear pants and girls wear skirts" and so leave themselves blind to the subtle differences.

I mean, there's a lot more to fashion than just that, but I figured the simple version would be a good place to start.

Every racist has their reason. There used to be entire scientific fields devoted to it. But I do worry about you around her, sometimes you sort of act like you're in an abusive relationship. You spend so much of your time worrying that every little thing you do (and most of them that used to bring you so much joy, like cuddle buddies) is gonna anger her.

I mean, you guys used to be a cute ship...but I think at this point I kind of want to see it sink o no

Most people don't realize they're talking with their clothes. Learning about fashion means you can control the message you're sending out. Plus when you learn enough, you can start making some really good guesses about people based on their outfits.

I shouldn't talk so much. It seems to shut you up and it's hard enough getting more than one-word sentences out of you D=
