He stood there a moment as feelings deep within his breast swelled and he slowly battled them down like a practiced warrior. Taking in a deep breath he turned to her. At first he was fine, but slowly these strange notions and emotions that he wasn't familar with were edging their way in, much like anger once used to take hold of him. Aesculus reassured himself in time he could master not letting these feelings control him... it was just that they were new to him that they were so perplexing.
"I have work I should do... since I was in bed so long." Indeed... he should be more concerned with finding a way to get Muris that was cunning are well-thought-out rather than staring at how softly and seducingly her bang fell over one vivid green eye.

Filix suddenly started to panic, wondering if he didnt' want to do anything. Maybe ... she had to stop panicing. He was an important member of the Court, of course he had work to do. She really had things to do as well, although they were more personal than Countess related.
She nodded, stepping back again as she replied as casually and calmly as possible, "Of course. Prehaps you'll join me for a ride sometime soon, I think Fera misses being able to run free and fast. And it's good for the thoughts, maybe it'd help with the work? But I should go, I won't keep you from the work."
Oddly enough, she felt a bit rejected. And Filix wasn't even sure why that was. She glanced away, towards a window as she scolded herself for that. Stupid it.

He picked up the cake box and handed it to her, being extremely careful not to jar it in any way, and after some thought, carefully placed the knife in there with it so that she could have more, but made sure the blade was pointed towards the center of the cake so if she *did* fall, she wouldn't somehow stab herself. With this done, he tried to act the gentleman and escort her to the door, making sure to open it wide.
And then there was a pause as he had her in the doorway and he leaned down, while she had that beautiful cake in her hands, and planted an impulsive, unplanned, and strong kiss on her lips. It wasn't his nature, he had thought, to do such things, but everyone learns something of themselves when they are bent to impulses.

Filix took it, also careful, she didn't want to drop it and ruin it. She planned on finding a way to keep it safe and as whole as possible. ...probably for another day, if she was lucky.
And then she was kissed, and Filix could only return it for a few moments. That was unexpected, but rather good! She grinned at him afterwoods, winking even, and wandered off to her own chambers to try and gather her thoughts again.

(( I apologize for the late reply, computer problems =( ))
Ursa crept from behind her chamber doors, being careful to shut it with as much little noise as possible. She couldn't be bothered bringing attension to herself. Her old, anti-social ways had leapt up on her again, she only socialized or talked to people when they came to her, or talked to her. Although she did say a polite 'hello' and had a conversation - when she happened to pop into someone.
It was one of these days.
Spotting the rather 'well-clothed' Lilium sitting on the bench, she rushed forward to greet the Queen, eager to know her better (as she had barely enough time to talk to her during the teen transformation, a memorable trip).
"Hello!" She approached her cheerfully, careful not to trod on any of the flowers on her way. "Hello again!" She repeats softly when closer, politely waiting to be offered a seat next to the Queen. She didn't dare be rude.

Good afternoon Ursa. *She slides over leaving room for Ursa to sit* Please have a seat. I was just on my way to see you actually. *She waits for Ursa to sit before asking* How have you been? I apologize for not being around much of late.

She nodded immediatly, slowly taking a seat next to the Queen. "Oh were you really?" She smiled sweetly, shuffling back to make herself a little more comfortable on the seat. "I've been very well thankyou." She continued to smile, pulling back a strand of wavy hair which hung over her face. "...Mmm. Yes. I too apologize for not being around that much." Her tone became nostalgic almost.
"It was so much better when I tried to socialize. But I've locked myself up too much with my studies, in worry that the moon court will strike..." Ursa paused briefly, "I've heard many, many bad things about them." She added, pondering on Alces death, and sighing.
"Sorrysorry. I'm rambling on and on," She fell back a little nervously, and gave Lilium back her opportunity to speak.

*She sighed and her small smile turned to a frown* I too worry about the Moon Court and what they may do next. Along with many other things. Cervus...... *She paused wondering what exactly to say* Cervus has yet to return. Sometimes I worry that the Moon Court has Found or done something to him.
We will merely have to soldier on without him though. I do not think they will strike anytime soon. Much of the Moon Court are still young, not yet ready for anything. *That sounded good. Didn't it? She still isn't accustomed to being 'in charge'*

"Oh my goodness!" Ursas expression drooped, and her eyes felt heavy all of a sudden. "I will pray for his return. He is a strong King! I doubt he can leave us at a time like this. Nono... He is strong." She shook her head unsteadily, and pondered on it, stroking her chin in thought, sucking in her lips a little.
"Young? Are they really?" She 'hmm'd', raising an eyebrow. "...If they were 'young' as you said... They must be malicious monsters! To have the power to do something as cruel as kill Alces... Poor...Poor Muris." Her eyes felt heavy again, but she blinked the feeling away.
"I'm afraid its all too depressing for me.. I grow paranoid, and I study insanely to reassure myself I'm playing a role in this too, to help out. You know? But I have wasted alot of my time, I should have been out there with Alces when he fell, maybe I could have-" she swallowed hard, "... even saved him..." Ursa began to mutter, and some tears formed in her eyes, but she didn't show her face to Lilium, she cowered in the other direction; looking to the sun.

Wait! What was that? Killed Alces? Why haven't I heard of this? When? *What had happened? She failed. She failed miserably. She was supposed to look after her people. Lead them. Protect them. Her frown grew even longer. and a tear welled up in her eye rolling down her cheek. She tried to regain her composure*

She sighed heavily, not knowing how much Lilium knew, but she had an hunch that Lilium was all very updated, and knew everything that was gone. It came as quite a shock that she didn't know any of it, Ursa despertly blinked off tears, and went stiff, trying to apologize for what she'd just announced, without having any idea of if Lilium knew or not..
".. I am really sorry to break this news to you. I had no idea you didn't know..." She sniffed up a bit, creating a pause, "Muris told me a couple of weeks ago, she is very distressed about it, she said they kidnapped him, and... and... well..." She shrugged off the remaining words, which probably would have been 'killed him', but those two words seemed far too brutal to use in a situasion like this. It was a very delicate conversation, and she didn't want to upset Lilium anymore.
"I really am sorry." She apologized again, "I just thought - mm... But I guess a thought wrong." She slid an uneasy hand through her wavy hair, getting it back out from her hair, rather than sticking onto the tearlines on her face.

This was the first I had heard of it. *She hung her head and sighed* Are we sure he is gone? Is there anyway she may be mistaken? *She could always hope. If he is truly gone then it would demand a response. Wouldn't it? Thats what Cervus would do right?*
*She sat staring in front of her the sweat running down her face. Maybe this isn't a good time to bring her pregnancy up. Or is it? Is it better to have some good news in this time of sorrow? Or would it even matter?*

"I have no idea." Ursa replied firmly, quite distressed now by the look on her face. "I only know what I've been told. But the state that she was in when she came rushing to me for help. It disturbed me. Muris is a happy cheerful girl, not one who comes rushing into your chambers - half staggering, wounded, and flooding with tears. It was an awful sight." She shook her head gently.
"Again, your theory may be correct."
"We can only pray, and wait for updates..." She trailed off.
"-And. Ahem sorry. What have you been up to Lilium... - Er miss.. Er Queen. Sorry!" She scratched nervously at her temples.

Mostly worrying about Cervus. He has been gone a long time. *she tells her with a sad look upon her face.* And your right about Muris. She is normally a happy girl. Lets hope she is mistaken. *she sighs* I was on my way to see you because I wanted you to give me a check up. Make sure everything is allright.
