Mirai was silent for a moment as she recalled her dreams. It was mainly about the man that tried to rape her and Texas dying followed by guilt dreams about her brother. She sighed finally and rested her head on Texas "Just... About a lot of the stuff that happened yesterday..." She replied followed by a sigh. "You?"

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas kissed Mirai on top of the head before he leaned the side of his head against it. He still didn't know about the man that had tried to rape her in the Lower City. Texas nodded in agreement. his dreams were mostly about killing Mirai, or rather not being able to save her from...himself. His other self. Whatever. The worst ones though where when he dreamed his other self suddenly took over again somehow and killed Mirai in her sleep, or at some point where she was trusting him most. "Same kind of thing. You still tired?" He asked her as he closed his eyes for a moment before opening them again. And I just want to show them.

Mirai nodded "Yeah... I don't want to though if those keep happening..." she told Texas. It wasn't like Mirai needed sleep but she was so used to it that not sleeping was beginning to affect her in a negative way. She closed her eyes then and was silent for a couple of moments "Is I do sleep, will you stay here?" she asked.

Some men just want to see the world burn... "Yeah, I understand," Texas told Mirai truthfully. When she asked if he would stay he nodded. "Yeah," he replied quietly as he squeezed her with his other arm. "Promise." And I just want to show them.

Hearing Texas' reply, Mirai smiled slightly as she kept her eyes closed. "I am glad you are still here..." she admitted "I don't know what I would do if you weren't."

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas took his other arm and wrapped them both around Mirai as he pulled her into his lap and against him. "You're stronger than you think," he told her as he raised on hand to the back of her head and began running his fingers through her hair. "You'd be okay, but don't even worry about it. I'm here and that's not gonna change anymore." And I just want to show them.

Mirai sighed in relief as she heard Texas. "I don't want you thinking this is your fault okay? Because it isn't... and I am here for you as well," she told Texas as she leaned into him.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas smiled and nodded, he shifted slightly and picked Mirai up, standing up as he did so. "Alright," he said, walking down the hallway and looking down at her occasionally until they walked into the bedroom. He leaned forward and laid her down on the bed quietly. "Better?" He asked her with a smile as he leaned over her, reaching down and touching her cheek. And I just want to show them.

Mirai blinked in surprise as Texas picked her up "Uh... I could have walked..." she said as Texas took her to her room. She blushed as he laid her down on the bed "Uh... yeah," she replied with a small nod. "Thank you."

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas nodded as she moved closer and leaned towards her, kissing her before leaning back again. "Thank you too," he told her. "For bringing me back. Most people would have thought I was gone forever. Or...hated me for it..." And I just want to show them.
