Persephone made a soft noise of relief when Leto finally showed signs of life. She looekd up at the other Dark Mirror, eyes wide. "Any help you can provide would be appreciated," she acknowledged, because Leto was not the only one who needed to get out. Her eyes flicked over to Zinkenite, temporarily occupied with the General who had started this mess - but Leto was dying.

"General-King Zinkenite, a little help over here?" She called, trying to get his attention to the fallen Princess, now returned to the Eternal form that was far, far more familiar to Persephone. The corrupt wasn't sure what the limits on her teleportation were - couldn't be certain she could get Leto out - but she had no doubt Zinkenite could.

Those words of self-sacrifice hit close to home - Persephone knew that if she hadn't had Biela, she would have happily burned to let her team escape. But no. "Sorry, Princess, I did not bodyslam a General just so you could give up." She reached out to sling one of Leto's arms over her shoulder, so she could try and haul her up. At least the Dark Mirror wasn't that much taller than her. "And I'm sure your Court would like to see you out alive, too."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The choking smoke made Amytis think she'd made a mistake coming back in - and damn it, everyone needed to get out. Not just her. So when she got back to the Page, she grabbed his sleeve. "Hey, hey! Battles aren't important right now - we need to get out, I don't want to see you become fried Knight." Her voice was pleading.

No one deserved to die like this.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tantalus had been pushing his way through the crowd, trying to get to Damocles, when Leto's aura vanished and he found himself spinning to look where she had been.

Seeing her lying on the ground, even if Persephone and someone unfamiliar but with the most powerful Negaverse aura he had ever felt, both intervened - that was enough to freeze him for a few seconds.

Until the fire started. He swore and yanked his scarf up over his face, going back to shoving through people until finally - yes. There was Damocles, with Lellouch and Natron and an unfamiliar White Moon Senshi who he was going to have to thank for keeping an eye on his boyfriend when he couldn't. But that was for later. For now he practically threw himself onto Damocles, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend and pressing his face into his chest. ******** them being in public, he did not care, right then, who saw him.

"We need to get the hell out of here," he declared, generally.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Natron had not meant to cut as deep as he did, and as soon as it dawned on him that he had done that to a fellow General - the color briefly drained from his face and he felt himself panicking a little inside. Traitorous or not, he hated the thought of turning his weapon on an officer, and the brunet took a step back, kusarigama disappearing from his hands.

Zinkenite's aura only made him fear worse. He had nothing to fear from the General-King, as far as he knew, but then - he had attacked a fellow officer, but at least it had the man in red getting the hell out of Dodge. Which, well - he had to agree with Tantalus (newly arrived and also very alive, thank god.) With the place going up in flames, it seemed a good time to get while the getting was good.

"Hey!" He said, directing it at the Order senshi who had practically shoved Buddy onto his weapon. "I can teleport you out of here, but I'm gonna have to touch you to do it. It's the quickest way out before this whole place goes up." With so much sawdust in the air, there was the risk of an explosion - and he did not want to be here if that happened.

Acrucis had remained silent during their verbal altercation, shielded by the other knight against a blow that thankfully did not come. So much of what had been said between the two truly left her mind reeling. Yet when the knight had directed a question at her she faltered.

No, she was not okay with him murdering senshi or anyone for that matter. But if someone were to attack him, who was she to try to stop him from defending himself? If a life is lost in the act of protecting another, how can anyone judge the person who made the choice of how far to go? Had the roles been reversed she had to wonder just how far would she go to defend Phact?

Like Benitoite, the massive flare in chaos energy pulled her attention towards a group of individuals not incredibly far from where they were standing a sight and feeling that terrified her to the bone. Laying motionless on the ground beside the two males looked like a fallen angel. Unable to tare her eyes off her beaten form Acrucs, for a moment, felt the undeniable urge to cast her Renew.

She may have actually acted upon her desire had Benitoite not of taken ahold of her arm and pulled her away from the knight. For a moment she felt like a doll, being pulled in two directions, but in the end she followed her General, though she glanced back over her shoulder at the Knight in green with a rueful look on her face I’m sorry… she thought mentally pleading for his forgiveness.

With her gaze set upon the knight, Acrucis nearly walked into Beni’s backside when he stopped abruptly and only then did she turn to see where they were going only to find herself standing before yet another familiar face… “Remarque?” her voice was soft and void of the life it had the first time they met. So much did she wish to ask him what happened but in all honesty she already knew, which only left the only other question she could think of at this time and place ”Who attacked you?” though chances are even if he did give her a name, she likely wouldn’t know who the person was, still… she needed to know.

Chariklo had been forced to fight every instinct in her body to not bear hug Leto once it became apparent that she was not dead. Instead, she limited herself to giving the hand that gripped her overlay a gentle caress.

"Yeah, it'd really annoy us if you gave up," she spoke softly, trying to not cry. No one's getting left behind here."

Then, raising her voice and making full use of her skill of being a loudass b***h, she bellowed into the chaos, "Dark Mirror senshi and friends! Time to haul a** and get out of here! Move it! Now!"

Taking her free hand, she tried to wave the corrupted senshi back.

"You're just as teeny as she is. I got this, New Friend."

Suiting actions to words, Chariklo moved to slide her arms behind Leto's shoulders and under her knees.

[Mental Exit for Avior! Ya'll can manipulate his body as need be. He IS alive!]

The world was spinning ever so faster, and the kid could hardly keep himself up. There wasn't any pain anymore, just a warm, fuzzy feeling, and the towing body of another holding him close. His prince.. It was as if one of his bizzare games had finally come true.. An actual prince to safe him.. It's a shame that it was at the very end.. He could barely keep his voice up this time, the blood from his stomach refusing to stop dripping out drop by drop.

"She's safe..? Right, okay.. She's safe.. Good.. I'm tired of fighting.. Keep her safe.." He was tired of everything, the edges of his world were growing darker and darker, but that was just fine, perfectly fine. It was time to sleep, and if this was the last time he were to open his eyes, maybe this was the best way. Atleast he was surrounded by his family.

Since Ya'll are all in the area.

"Actually I'm not no" Athene admitted in response to the corrupt's cute comment, wishing that his skin was not quite so pale given that it meant that embarrassment and blushes were all too easy to spot. The tone of his voice was steady as he continued "People from your side don't usually want to talk to me." At least not the word sort of talking.

"And I'm Sailor Athene" he added simply at her request for a name, leaving it up to her whether she would return a name for a name.

Athene hadn't been expecting the corrupt senshi to basically agree with him on his assessment of the situation and he wasn't he could believe her statement that she'd been planning to carry out her orders by going about and 'hugging' Dark Mirror senshi - the whole idea seeming well weird.

But then he felt an aura that he'd felt only once prior as the warehouse was suddenly filled with the aura of that of a General King. Something seemed to be happening up ahead and was it really coincidence that it seemed to be happing from the direction where that terrible scream had come from?

Athene frowned as he caught the smell of smoke, head automatically turning to look, his eyes widening beneath his glasses as he took in the flames licking hungrily at the floor - at the sawdust on the floor. "I don't know what's happening" he said as he looked back at the corrupt senshi before pointing at the fire that was starting to spread. "But whatever your orders were you should probably get out."

It was something that he himself planned to follow, although he intended to keep an eye out for anyone alive or downed as he tried to find an exit and help them out as best he could - after all this was no way to go different faction or not, enemy or not.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Liryn had felt his fur standing on end as the scream rang out in the warehouse, making him look more like small puffball than a cat. Being a cat and therefore close to the ground meant he hadn't seen the event unfold, but he knew enough to know that whatever had cause the scream couldn't have been anything good.

He had been winding his way closer dodging feet here and slipping around things there when he felt the sudden pull, the kitty gut feeling telling him that he needed to head in a particular direction and now.

There was a corrupt senshi up ahead and an eternal, the two of them talking and as purplish eyes gazed on the white, bronze and jade outfit of the eternal senshi suddenly Liryn knew.

It's him! Or was it her? It was hard to tell with the distance between them, but it didn't matter - his senshi was there right in front of him and that meant that his search was finally over.

But as he started to trot forward excitedly, in that moment nothing else mattering - not the winking out of the super strong chaos aura or its replacement with another chaos aura different but just as strong.

Then his nose twitched at a sudden harsh, thick acrid smell and as he turned he started to see the smoke wisping its way through the warehouse. He turned back towards his senshi was in time to see long dark hair, pale skin and glasses and then suddenly there too many people between him and his senshi and try as he might Liryn couldn't get past.

I'll find you he told his senshi silently. I found you once, I'll find you again. But it seemed that it would not be today as Liryn did his best to trot around moving feet and find an exit for himself.

After dodging someone's boot he found himself near a cat girl mauvian and brushed against her leg as he recognised her from the cat monster incident. He had found and lost his senshi, but at least he could help his fellow Order guardian cat get out - even if his fellow Order guardian cat was so very much bigger than him at the moment.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He should get off the ground, Falias knew he should get off the ground. Being on the ground was bad, made you vulnerable - he'd learnt that lesson the night when Al-Janah had tried to strangle him but damned if he wasn't still hurting from the pink-haired senshi's sucker punch and the Super Dark Mirror senshi approaching him was almost on top of him.

And if that wasn't bad enough there was the smoke, the thick acrid smoke that had started not long after that super strength chaos aura had turned up and which seemed to be steadily filling up the warehouse.

He flinched at the sudden hand on his sleeve, sure that it was the prelude to the Dark Mirror senshi bringing the fight to its final conclusion, but no it was a voice - the same pink-haired dark mirror senshi's voice from earlier saying something about fried Knight and getting out.

A sudden glow caught his eye, green eyes widening as he recognised his 'weapon', the piece of mistletoe - the piece of mistletoe that he had left tucked away in his pocket and should have been still there in his pocket, but it was shifting and lengthening and as he instinctively reached out for it felt hard under his fingertips.

His hand curled around it and as it flared bright he felt suddenly stronger. No longer Falias Page, it was Falias Squire of Earth who held the slender wooden wand.

The Dark Mirror Super senshi was still there, but with the fire spreading as it was through the warehouse their fight (at least for now) was over. He stood up, was maybe perhaps part helped up and gave a stiff nod towards the Dark Mirror Super.

She was much as he was loathe to agree right about needing to get out. And although he still disliked the Dark Mirror Court as much as ever he didn't particularly want to die and he especially didn't want to go out like this.

[ Exit Thraen ]

He had not been able to do much of use in the interim- the eternal he'd tangled with, the page, and the super senshi were all lost in the dust and cacophony. The event of the Princess signature was expected and hopeful as her death knell was gripping.

But it went wrong. Another Power came and stole the spine of their coalition.

Thraen scowled. The other half was hasty in dark of what must be a General-King. And Flame.

small consolation that the retreat will not become a rout. A look around for any Order fallen, and he made his way out.

Zinkenite moved forward with a terrible measured pace, as though the flames and the smoke were of little import, perhaps they were not. He moved his goggles into place, obscuring what little remained of his expression behind blue tinted lenses and thick black fabric before his actions turned strange. He snapped one of the chains at his waist, a small length from which dangled the silver key and the small red gem and let it hang loose in his hand, drawing close to the beseeching general he had once fought beside.

He grabbed Wolframite again by the wrist, holding him firm and dangled the long chain into the fire till the metal started to take on a terrible, glossy shine. He moved with a terrible calculated grace, as much luck as there was precision to turn Wolfram’s arm palm down and as level as he could make it.

“No Wolframite, Tanzanite and Metallia bid you cease this quest already… I bid you now again, but there are CONSIQUNCES.”

He shoved back the fabric on wolfram’s arm, the coat sleeve and the shirt beneath it to expose the arm beneath. “… They burned themselves in the name of serving order, now you have chosen to serve order and your own misguided need for revenge, leading a petty mob into battle and working side by side with those you swore to fight. So… you’ll bear a brand of your own.”

He let the key drop against the pale skin to the sound of sizzling and the stench of roasting meat. Blisters and red skin and a seemingly unbreakable grip would leave the key brand disturbingly clear on his skin.

He then wrenched Wolframite to his feet, letting him stagger and staring coldly at him through the lenses. “This is not, over, I will see you and yours very soon. Make your peace.”

He turned and hurled the General towards Europa.

Leaving them he turned and marched back towards Leto, Persephone, and the dark Mirror blond.

“Take hold of my coat. I’m not sure I can otherwise take a Dark moon Senshi with me I’ll return for the others.” He instructed the two whom were standing before he stooped, and swept Leto into his arms, and vanished.”

Azurite waved a hand as she giggled as the red in the eternals face became more predominate. "I'm sorry.. I don't mean to laugh. I mean no disrespect by it, honestly. And it's Azurite, if you were curious." Her laughing turned into a cough and soon the waving was the brush smoke from her face instead of being a harmless gesture. "Agreed... I think we should both split before we're in the ground." Azurite said, turning to look at the mayhem of fire. "Don't get yourself burned Athene. I'd hate to see a pretty thing like you scorched by the flames. I'll grab whoever I can and help them out. Regardless of uniform color."

Hey, they might be different sides, but no one deserved to go out like that.

The sudden presence of Zinkenite's aura made Lellouch's stomach flip. Great. This was just what they needed... Sighing, Lellouch ignored the stinging in her hand as Natron jerked the bladed weapon from her. That was fine. It had served it's purpose, and Buddingtonite could call it back with no problem. What she wasn't happy with however, was when said General retreated, leaving her in a battle of three against one. Or it was three until another body joined the fray.

Go figure it would be Tantalus...

Using the dark mirror's distraction to her advantage, Lellouch sprang, leaping up and placing her hands on Natron's shoulders and vaulting over the group, disappearing into the dispersing groups of people.

Let them burn in hell for all she cared.

She didn't make it to Wolframite, but she didn't have to, because the general came to her - although not in the most convenient of ways. Europa fell backwards, bowled over by the collision.

Leto was alive she thought, as she struggled out from under him. Leto was alive and that meant she'd failed. She hadn't kept up her end of the bargain and all she could sow was failure. Should've crushed her trachea. You should have. You should have, you silly girl.

The only thing she could do now - the only thing there was left to do, really - was cut their losses and get out of here, before the factory crashed down around them. "Come on," Europa said urgently, wedging her arms under Wolframite's armpits. "Come on, we've got to go, I'll help you, but I need you to get up-"

He wanted Zink to see reason, to drop his title and see the good and sense of ridding the DMC here and now, and to maybe just for this moment, reverse the damage he had done by giving Leto her starseed back. Instead, with the way he walked, the googles in place in the mist of fire and smoke, and swirling heat of destruction, he drew close.

He watched the key dangle down, glinting in the amber glow of fire. Wolframite was already nervous by the flames. It had been flames that Gunn used to burn his body and he never felt comfortable around them, but he knew it was the best tactic he had in the end when his back was against the wall - and it was.

He swallowed thick, the taste of blood mingled in the salt of sweat from his lips from being thrown, and he looked up at the blue googles to the man behind them. Fire danced on the surface of ice blue, and he knew then his plea went unheard.

He was gripped by the wrist against, but being thrown had broken his arm and made him howl in pain. Twisted, he heard Zink's voice boon overhead, and in front of allay, comrade, enemy, and all, he was branded a traitor.

The skin burned, different from the way he had been set on fire before, but he still remembered the smell of burned flesh. His scream rang out in waves through the factory before he was lifted up. He knew he would not die, and that terrified him.

It wasn't over. Not by a long shot.

He was hurled again, tossed like a dirty tag doll at Europa, and he fell on his side in a mass. He stayed there for a while, dazed in the raw pain of melted flesh, broken bone, and his sore back, before he heard her soft voice plea for him to rise.

Rise? Rise to what? What would he be fighting for.

His eyepatch had slipped loose to show the one black eye, and he looked up at her. "I can't escape. It won't be long now. He'll come back." He managed in a raspy voice mad raw from the screams of pain.

He rolled up a little bit onto his legs. Just enough to grab her arm and pull her down so he could look up at her. "I failed us." His eyes misted with that admission. It was done now. Leto had her seed and Zink had whisked her away.

It was done here, but not yet for him.

"I'm sorry." He whispered, and shoved her away.

"Escape before he shows up."

A General King's aura, there. Leto's aura, gone. General King's aura, gone. Smoke and fire eating away at the building. People rushing around. The smell of blood permeating his nostrils.

Remarque's lip twitched as he tried to process this, but he didn't have time to think about who had come and gone, and if that meant Leto had escaped or if a General King had dropped in to finish the job.

He heard the voices around them, though didn't immediately process them. When Benitoite approached, he almost slugged the male. He was on edge and didn't trust anyone not immediately in the Court—or Valhalla, because really, Val? Attack someone like this? No, he looked too worried to be any danger.

For now, at least.

But, Benitoite wasn't offering threats—he was offering assistance. And one look at Avior told Remarque that he needed to risk the fact that Benitoite was trying to lead him into more harm if it meant that there was a chance Benitoite was actually willing to get them somewhere safe.

To Valhalla, he said only, "Get out, we'll talk soon," before he looked to Acrucis and Benitoite.

"I'm fine," he said to the senshi, though he had his fair share of visible scuffs. He was just too prideful to admit that he might have gotten a little roughed up. Remarque made no effort to pull away from the General and instead gripped his arm tightly, nodding. He kept a good grip on Avior even as he latched onto Benitoite. "If you're offering a ride out, I'm in. But I'm going to have words with you after this."

There was an anger in his voice, but it wasn't directed at the General; Remarque was just angry.

Benitoite had said he dind't know about any of this, about any plans—and he wouldn't lie, would he?

…Did it even matter?

Right now he had far more important things to worry about—like the Court.

He could talk to Benitoite after Avior wasn't bleeding all over the floor.

[Exit Leto~ heart ]

Leto gripped onto Persephone with all her might as the tiny Senshi tried to haul her to her feet. She shot the other girl an apologetic smile for the fact that she was likely dead weight to her. She tried to steady herself on her feet to no avail, so she was thankful when Chariklo stooped to help them. "I'm sorry," she cried to both of them, clinging to them as if her life depended on it, shaking her head. "I'm so sorry."

Leto's eyes clamped shut when she heard Wolframite's scream echo through the room. He may have ripped her very soul from her chest, but she didn't wish the Negaverse's wrath upon anyone- death would have been better. She actually... Felt sorry for the misguided, angry, vengeful General.

Those thoughts were quickly tossed aside when, like a guardian angel, Zinkenite reappeared in front of the group and scooped Leto up into his arms. She curled herself into him and shut her eyes, tears still streaming down her cheeks. Not because of the pain or her very near-death experience, but because she felt terrible guilt towards everyone in the Dark Mirror, White Moon and Negaverse that had come to her aid when she called them. She could only hope that every one of them made it out of the fray alive as the group of them all teleported out of the warehouse that was sure to burn to the ground.

Even though she was now away from it all and safe, some part of her was still terrified. Because deep down Leto knew that the fight between herself, Wolframite and Europa would not end until they had her starseed and her heart.

Like they had promised.

[Exit Europa]

"No, no," said Europa, letting him fall from her grasp. "You didn't fail. You didn't fail at all. You did everything right. I--"

I should have crushed her throat. I only choked her. I didn't break her. If her body had been broken enough, the starseed wouldn't have mattered. They wouldn't have been able to--

But it was probably better not to tell a Negaverse general - even one you'd shared momentary camaraderie with - that you thought you were the reason the mission had failed. "Okay," Europa said. "I'll go. Good luck, Wolframite."

She stood all the way up then, clenching her fists, and shouted, "This place is coming down! Clear out!" She didn't know who still remained in the warehouse, whether they were friend or foe - but anyone with eyes could see there'd be no stopping this blaze. And then, following Wolframite's last order to her, Europa turned and hurried for the exit, as quickly as her legs would take her, the smell of defeat sharp in her nose.

[Exit Persephone]

Persephone made soft, soothing noises, gently stroking Leto's hair in an effort to calm her as Zinkenite dealt with the dissident General. The sound of Wolframite's punishment, the smell of burning flesh, made her cringe, and the longer they stayed in the burning building and the choking smoke, the more she started thinking of her own terrible failure in a warehouse, when, like Wolframite, she had lit the place ablaze - though not in a desperate attempt to kill her enemies, only to cover an escape.

At least this time, if the telltale feeling of auras vanishing and the lack of awful pained screams was any reassurance, at least no one was caught in Wolframite's blaze. Well, except, she supposed, for any dead. Briefly, she rested her hand on her sash where she'd stowed the Lieutenant's starseed, and mentally she apologized for leaving his body to such a fate.

At Zinkenite's bidding, she relinquished Leto and took hold of the General-King's cloak, letting him carry them out of this fiery hell.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Amytis took a breath. Well, she was not expecting to see a Knight, seemingly unaided, spontaneously upgrade in front of her eyes. A slightly sardonic smile appeared on her face, and she started pulling him towards the massive hole in the wall, because the mirror she had used to upgrade was near there. Before she went, she reached down, tearing two pieces off her shiny new overlay and offering one to him while pressing the other over her mouth.

"That was some pretty good timing," she said. "Come on, there's a mirror this way, I can take you through it. It'll get us out of here quick, and it'll be safer than hanging around. No tricks, I promise, I won't dump you off midway or leave you behind. I'm Sailor Amytis, by the way, if I'm saving your a** you might as well know my name." She was talking and walking, with the full intent to make sure they both survived.

A quick glance had confirmed Chariklo was with Leto and the girl who saved her, and the General-King seemed to be on their side, so she hoped that meant her girlfriend would be safe.
