(I'm sorry for small sentences and dry writing. I'm currently making a transition from my computer to a laptop and my mouse isn't working properly. As you can imagine, it's quite frustrating as you're trying to write).

Leo's head shook like a sheet of metal. Resonating clicks and bangs emitting from weapons surged through his body. Before he could answer Mika's question, Leo fell over unconscious.

Mika yelped when he collapsed. "What the hell," she shouted. This wasn't her kind of fight. She would rather be using explosives and not a gun. "He passes out and I'm out of ammo great," she grumbled.



Skye popped up briefly out of the cover to fire a shot. "Seven," she said quietly. She didn't enjoy the killing and her tone and eyes were empty. This was something she had to do. "We need to take care of these guys before they kill us. The odds aren't in out favor here. If we had more ammo and a better spot to defend...then we'd honestly stand a better chance." She looked at Tatsuya. "Any ideas as to what we should do? In a best case scenario we manage to kill them all while suffering wounds or casualties. That is out best case and I have no idea how to make it end up that way. With the amount of ammo both you and I have left...we don't stand a chance. I believe Mika is out. Leo...I have no idea what's going on. I haven't even seen Ethan since this fight started."

Leo's dreams captivated him in a still frame. Trials of life and misfortunes were endless. His time with his army was also shown, and with it, Grayther. Leo was betrayed, made unfit to lead, unwillingly thrown into a scouting group, and now sought after by assassins. He was done with it all. If he ever woke up, he took a vow to kill Grayther.

With a sigh Mika dragged Leo out of cover and towards the building. Inisde would be safer for him and her. She had a few bullets graze her but she managed to not get seriously hurt. Once inside she sagged against the wall. "Man he's heavy," she grumbled.



Skye touched his arm. "Conserve your ammo Tatsuya," she said quietly. "Shiny," the Shinious whimpered from her pocket. It hated all the noise. She petted it's head softly. "It'll all be over soon," she told it softly. "Would be over sooner if I had a rifle with a scope and a good position." She popped up and fired but her shot missed and she cursed.

Leo was still unconscious, but his eyelids were propped up and bobbing slightly as Mika drew him away from the fight. The rifle, still on his chest, rolled off to the ground and puffed sand into the sky.

Mika just sat there. "Dang," she muttered. "He better not get himself killed that stupid cook. We need him to make our food and he's a good cook."

Skye quickly shoved the Shinious's head back into her pocket right before she spotted the lost rifle. Instead of using her pistol she made a run for the rifle. She didn't notice the weak ground close by until one foot went through it. "Crap," she muttered as her foot and leg touched something sticky. Quickly she yanked it away and grabbed the rifle. The fight was more important right then than her leg were. She aimed and fired three times before it clicked empty on her. Only when it did so did she yank her leg free of the substance with a great effort. The searing pain she was feeling already wasn't good but she had managed to take out three of the enemy at least.

Leo rolled over, spitting blood from his mouth as he propped himself up on one leg. He tried to speak, but his throat became thick and slimy with blood. Leo locked his eyes with Mika's. She was considerably close. Leo already knew what that meant. He gave her a nod, Leo wasn't the type of person to come out and thank people, but he showed appreciation for her all the same. "Where are the others?"
