Pokemon Limits for Classes. Good enough or should the number be higher?
It's good how it is, I don't really use that many Pokemon.
It needs to be a bit higher but you're on the right track.

Abigail became aware, suddenly, that she was surrounded by faces that she did not know and had not yet introduced herself to. To the three of them, she grinned and said, "H-hello there! My name's Abigail; it's nice to meet you folks!" Squirtle also gave a tiny wave from his place atop her shoulder.

Sport shrugged. "It's always nice to have another Pokémon. But training helps too." he said. Turning to the one he didn't recognize from the previous night, he nodded to her. "I'm Sport. Nice to meet you." Then, realizing he hadn't been properly introduced to most of the others, he turned to them as well.

Dark was slowly following the group, keeping an eye out for gawkers. He was looking forward to making his Pokemon stronger.

Reaper gave a little wave to Abigail. "Nice to meet you too, Abigail. My name is Reaper." He said as his Corphish ran in front of Abigail and introduced himself.

Instinctively, Squirtle jumped from Abigail's shoulder as Corphish made its approach. Squirtle greeted the other pokemon with a loud "Squirtle!" and pounded his chest. Abigail rolled her eyes. "It's nice to meet y'all!"

They exited the city and found themselves at the beginning of Route 121. Maddy brought up a list on her TADS and showed them the available Pokemon to meet here.
"I'm not really interested in catching anything, but I figured I'd show you guys a list in case one of you were."
She thought for a moment.
"Let's fight two Pokemon each and meet back at this post. Catch one if you'd like." Maddy said, and then she ran off on her own. Her and her Pokemon were itching for a fight.

"I think I'll catch myself a water type." He announces. "Feels strange being the member of a water themed group without a water type. Well unless I carry a washing machine with me everywhere."
Dark chuckles and makes his way down to the surf route to Mt.Pyre.

Reaper came upon Route 121 with everyone else. After Maddy released everyone to catch or battle something, he wandered off in search of a pokemon to battle.

Allen nodded to the girl, " 'm Allen." He said simply, social as ever. After a moment, "It's nice to meet you too." Why would someone so sweet join Team Aqua? Of course, he hadn't seen her previously, so she probably didn't even know what she was in for. Deciding to think no more on it, Allen more looked into the scenery. It was actually pretty nice, through the trees to his left he could see out onto the ocean, if he looked right, he could see hilly forest, there was a sign about a Safari zone further up on the route, unlikely they'd be going there. He'd settle for whatever though.

After hearing Maddy speak out he assumed she was heading this group, and nodded, opening the file. A couple of Pokemon he'd seen before, a bunch he hadn't. But none of them really caught his eye. "Looks like training it is." he muttered to himself, grabbing Froakie's Pokeball. He'd forgotten to heal him up when they arrived at the base, so surely he wouldn't be much for battling today, Allen would just swap him out whenever he started taking damage.

He headed off toward where he could see the ocean through the trees.

Abigail listened to Maddy, then grinned widely. “Alright, Squirtle, let’s go battle some pokemon!” And with that, the pair raced off into the grass to look for some pokemon.

Abigail and Squirtle noisily traversed through the grass; they hadn’t quite learned how to master the art of sneaking. Many pokemon from the surrounding areas must have been able to hear them, as they were making quite a ruckus. Abigail quickly realized that pokemon were actually scurrying away from them, since they noticed the pair’s approach. “Squirtle, we may not be going about this the right way… I think all of the pokemon can hear u-!!!” Just as Abigail was about to finish her sentence, a flash of white sped up from the grass and into her face, smothering her with a flurry of feathers. It was a Wingull, reared and ready to battle. “Get off of me!!” She yelled at the pokemon, flinging it from her clothing and onto the ground. It was a feisty thing, as was shown by its eagerness to attack first.

“Alright, you wanna play rough? We can do that! Squirtle, tackle it to the ground!” Squirtle did as he was told, jumping into the air and tackling head-first into the bird pokemon. The two tumbled to the ground, making a dust cloud from their impact. The Wingull quickly reacted by snapping its head up and staring at Squirtle while releasing a series of bizarre sounds; it had used Supersonic! Squirtle began to tumble around the area, obviously confused as to where he was an what he was supposed to be doing. “Quick, Squirtle, use, uh…. Water Gun!” But Squirtle could only manage to stumble forward a bit before landing face-first in the dust, grunting to himself angrily. The Wingull then fluttered its wings repeatedly until gusts of wind had stirred up not only the dust, but Squirtle himself; he was thrown backwards against a rock that was facing upwards in the ground. Still confused, he staggered to a standing position. “Squirtle, snap out of it!” Abigail was getting worried; Squirtle had never fainted before, and she didn’t want this to be the first time! “Use Tackle; you’ve got to focus!” Squirtle visibly steadied himself, concentrating his vision at the Wingull, which was flying towards him at an alarming rate. Squirtle managed to pull himself together and, right as the Wingull got within range, he tackled the bird again, both plummeting to the ground. Both were extremely tired at this point. Seeing her chance, Abigail through a pokeball in hopes of catching the fiend. The Wingull was engulfed by a red light. The ball shook once… Twice… Three times… Click! “Great job, Squirtle!!” Abigail beamed, hugging her pokemon before returning him to his pokeball to receive a well-earned rest. She then raced on to find her next pokemon to battle.

Maddy entered the tall grass, eager to get this started. As she wandered through the waist high grass, she felt her foot nudge against something small and squishy. There was a squeal and an Oddish leapt up at her angrily; it would seem she accidentally kicked the poor little thing.
"Go, Axew!" Maddy cried, throwing a Pokeball and releasing the little green dragon.
Axew was the faster Pokemon and moved first.
"Incinerate!"
Axew attacked with fire, dealing massive damage to the little weed Pokemon. Oddish nearly fainted, but retaliated regardless. It conjured up a ball of green energy, drawing power from the nature surrounding it, and threw it at Axew. The ball hit Axew square in the chest, but it hardly phased him.
"Finish it with Slash!" Maddy called out.
Axew rushed forward, claws gleaming, and struck Oddish hard, knocking it out.
With a smirk, Maddy returned Axew and continued onwards through the tall grass.

Dark pulls a large branch off of a tree nearby along with a vine.
"Hmmm... gonna need something...." He walks over to a chain link fence and looks around. After not seeing anybody he sends out his Chimchar.
"Hey Diddy, melt this part here and this part here."
Chimchar lets out a happy cry and complies. Dark smiles, pets the Pokemon and recalls it. He then bends the piece of thick metal wire into a hook shape.
"Now for some... well that was easy." He grabs an Oran berry off a berry bush and makes his way to the waters edge. He tosses the line into the water and waits.
After a couple minutes, Dark feels a tug on the line.
"Oh, feels like a big one!"
He gives it a large tug and a sparkling gold Magikarp bursts from the water... and collides with his face.
The Pokemon knocks Dark over having caught him by surprise. The Magikarp flails furiously on the ground, hopping towards him.
"Is it... attacking me...?" Dark scratches his head. The Pokemon gets closer and tackles him in the gut.
"OOF!... Ugh I guess so." He groans a bit and grabs a Pokeball. He sends out his Rotom.
"Polt use Thunderwave!" Dark barks.
The Rotom chirps and blasts the shiny fish with a paralyzing wave.
The fish is paralyzed on the spot.
"Alright, good job. Now return! Go Diddy!"
Dark recalls Rotom and sends his Chimchar out.
"Ember!" Dark orders. Chimchar blasts the fish with fire, bringing it's health down low.
The Magikarp gets angry and Flails at Chimchar, doing some heavy damage.
"Uh-oh. Return Diddy, go Brick!" Dark brings the fire Pokemon back to his ball and sends out his Larvitar.
The Larvitar is hit with a Flail that does little damage thanks to typing.
Dark grabs an empty Pokeball from his pocket and tosses it at the fish. The Pokemon is pulled into the ball. With only a single wiggle the ball stops moving, signifying a capture.
"Awesome! I caught a shiny, and it's a Magikarp! Red Gyarados is like the raddest thing ever!" His face is beaming as he returns to the group.

Abigail released her next pokemon, Ralts, and had the little pokemon walk through the grass with her. “So, what is it like being a pokemon? Do you like it?”

Ralts looked up at her, then began to murmur something in a pokemon language that Abigail could not understand. Still, Abigail wanted to humor herself. “Ah, I see, I see. I know. Taxes can be rough this time of year.” As they were walking, though, Abigail did not notice that an Oddish had meandered into the grass in front of them. “Oh, hey, that’s a pokemon! Ralts, would you like to train against it?” Ralts quickly affirmed with a tiny headnod, and Abigail got into her battle stance.

“Alright, Ralts, use Confusion!” Ralts was surrounded by a psychic power that also engulfed Oddish. Before it could figure out what was going on, it was flung to an adjacent patch of grass; whatever had happened, it had done a lot of damage! “Wow! That was a great hit, Ralts!” Abigail praised. The Ralts gave an embarrassed grin, but was distracted and did not realize that the Oddish had released a spray of Acid that covered Ralts in a purple, uncomfortable ooze. “Sorry for distracting you, Ralts; I won’t do that again! Alright, let’s go for another Confusion!” Ralts, again, engulfed Oddish with a psychic presence that flung it against the nearest object; a sign post that was meant to direct trainers to the appropriate route. This time, though, the Oddish fell to the ground and stayed there, obviously defeated. After a few moments, it collected itself and ran off into the grass. “Great job, Ralts!” Abigail praised, attempting to give her pokemon a high-five. Ralts, however, did not understand this gesture and simply stood with an inquisitive look. Abigail sighed. “We’re going to have to work on your enthusiasm,” she said simply.

She allowed Ralts to stay out of her pokeball; since Squirtle was confused, it didn’t seem logical for him to be stumbling about outside of his pokeball. It felt unnatural to not have a pokemon out, though, so Abigail thought some bonding time with Ralts could be nice. After the pair had collected themselves, they made their way back to where the group was.

Sport follows the group out onto Route 121. Then, after they split up, he takes a cautious step into the grass. Not encountering anything, he strides deeper, Larvitar close behind. "Be neat to find a Kecleon, eh?" Sport asks his partner. "Larv?" is his response, and Sport glances down to find Larvitar looking up at him.

He laughs. "No, not to replace you," he says. Satisfied, Larvitar looks back ahead, then plunges ahead into the grass after some creature. "What did you see, buddy?" Sport follows his Pokémon into the grass, until he finds his Larvitar staring at a dark mist. Straining his eyes, he makes it out to be a Duskull.

"Larvitar, attack!" he exclaims. "Bite!" Larvitar lunges at the Duskull, sinking its jaws into the foe. Duskull, in retaliaton, conjured a ball of dark energy and hurled it at Larvitar. It knocked Larvitar off his feet, and as Larvitar stood up, the Duskull snuck around Larvitar and attacked from behind.

"Larvitar, get up!" Sport shouted. "Bite it again!" Larvitar turned and found the Duskull attempting to sweep past again, and again sank his teeth into the Duskull, who made a noise of pain. Sport, moving quickly, tossed a Pokéball at the Duskull. It shook once, twice, three times, and stopped moving.

"Yeah! Nice job, Larvitar!" he said. "Take a breather." Larvitar looked at him and nodded, and allowed himself to be recalled to his Pokéball. Sport picked up his newest team member's Pokéball and attached it to his belt. Then, making his way down to the waterfront, he tossed a third Pokéball and let his Carvanha out into the water.

"Go on, have some fun." Sport said. Carvanha, excited to be back in the water, dove underneath the surface. Then, once he got far enough below water, he raced up and broke through the surface, out in the open air for a few seconds, before crashing back down into the sea. Sport smiled and watched his Pokémon do this a few times, before letting Dratini out of her Pokéball and watching her slither into the water after Carvanha.

Something moved off to his left. Sport whipped his head around in that direction, trying to find whatever had drawn his attention. Noticing nothing out of the ordinary, he turned back to watch his Pokémon play. Again, he saw movement in that direction. Checking again, he thought he saw a Kecleon disappear into the grass.

"Dratini, c'mon!" he yelled, recalling Carvanha. Dratini was at his side in an instant, and they took off for the grass. He thought he saw the Kecleon again, but it quickly hid behind a tree. Sprinting around the tree, he looked left and right, but couldn't find anything.

"I guess it got away..." he muttered to himself, disappointment in his voice. He aimed a kick at the tree. Wincing in pain, his luck didn't improve, as a Zigzagoon glared out of the branches at him. Dropping to the ground, it charged at him.

It never made it, as Dratini slid in front of him, acting as a shield. The Zigzagoon rammed into her side, and toppled to the ground. Dratini was back up in an instant, unleashing her fury upon the Zigzagoon. It fell back to the dirt, only to dig underneath the earth.

Dratini looked around for her opponent, trying to determine where it was headed. Before she could react, the ground directly beneath her started to cave in, but instead of going down, she was thrown into the air as the Zigzagoon launched its body into her.

"Dragonbreath!" Sport shouted. Barely able to move, Dratini exhaled, sending a beam of energy back down at the Zigzagoon, who was caught by surprise. The strength of the attack, coupled with Dratini's fierce desire to protect her trainer, send the Zigzagoon scurrying back into the tree whence it came. Dratini made to follow, but held up when Sport called her back.

"You fought great!" he said, "but I think we should find the others." Dratini looked back into the trees again before slithering behind Sport as they walked out of the grass.

Maddy had Gible following her now. The little guy tended to slowly build up aggression if she didn't allow him to fight for a long period of time.
Suddenly, a Wingull swooped down on them angrily, possibly feeling threatened by Maddy's angry little blue dragon.
Wingull was pretty fast and immediately squirted Gible with a Water Gun.
Gible growled angrily, eager to take down his feathered foe.
"Use Dragon Claw!"
Gible's little claws glowed with a bloody light as it slashed at Wingull, dealing a decent blow. Wingull flapped it's wings furiously, causing an icy cold wind to pick up. Gible was struck by the harsh blow and just barely clung to consciousness.
"Let's finish this quick! Dragon Rush!"
Gible rushed Wingull, slamming it hard with all the dragon strength it could muster. Wingull crumpled to the ground, fainted.
Maddy sighed with relief and returned her tired little companion. She went back to the meeting place.
