WELCOME TO BUILD-A-FAMILIARThe kitsune giggled happily over her success, riding on the reaper didn't matter to the simple Moriko. " I catch you! I catch you!" Her ears were twitching in delight. She giggled again when the reaper struggled to get up. " For me? For me! Nyo! Thank you! It's lovely nyo~" Mr. Reaper successfully made the kitsune got off from him. On the box, there was image of a cage and feathers, it seemed to be alive. Leaving Mr. Reaper alone finally, Moriko went to "build a familiar". Nyo! She made a cute thing. “Non invasive drug testing my a**!” Hel sneered as she popped up at the booth again, smoothing out what she could of that stupid maid outfit. She was in a rather sour mood because the reaper dorms had lost Tug-O-War, and because that drug testing was not non invasive. Taken away by Boogeys! Ridiculous! Not to mention an insult to her honor. It was about to get worse though. Hel stiffened as she heard a familiar voice which sounded way too smug. The reaper turned slowly, and already was glaring at the horsewoman, like she knew what she was in for already. Like she knew Na saw a chance for pay back. “ Nanners.” Hel greeted back.

Na'ima was far too excited to allow a stupid name to bring her down. Oh no, nothing would ruin this for her. This ridiculous dress obviously agitated the ghoul, and something else as well probably. Na'ima was excited to know.
She draped an arm around the back of Hel's shoulders and pulled the ghoul close in an almost affectionate manner. Na'ima took a moment to raise the braid with her free hand and check the faint scar hidden underneath it. Ah, the wound. "Hm. Finally healed, I see." Na'ima let that braid drop to instead play with the other braid, playfully ticking it against Hel's cheek.
This was a beautiful moment.
"What has you so upset, my sweet filly?" She asked pleasantly as if she truly cared for your well being, Hel.

FOLLOWING THE LEADER, THE LEADER...Deciding she would try the follow the leader game once more, Kari picked out a gnome and set to leading it... If only it wasn't so stubborn. He refused to step on the stones, go through the tunnel, or even try to climb the uneven monkey bars. The only reason he even made it past the low hanging branch was because it was on his way back to the group and too high to hit him! "Ugh... that was just terrible", Kari groaned as she glared at the gnome. Reaper Dormitories May I have Prism Drake Carnival, please (or Gremlin DC Puppeteer)? sn: Myouki

Hel crossed her arms and huffed. The reaper also stiffened under Na’s arm as it wrapped around her shoulders. Pretty odd, right? Hel would have been killing for this kind of affection from the Horsewoman, but the problem with right now was that it wasn’t genuine…it was just to annoy her. That made it suck a**. “Ya.” She muttered. “The salve you made helped greatly.” Well, even grumpy, she could be appreciative, and that was good.
Though as she asked what was wrong, Hel narrowed her eyes even more and glared up at the taller Horsewoman.
“Your false treatment of me right now for one.”

Oh this was a delight! Coming here had been a wonderful idea! She could practically taste Hel's irritation! And her answer, oh she could not have asked for something more beautiful than that.
With a soft tsk Na'ima shook her head and gently urged Hel to tilt her head up and look at her with a finger tapping and guiding under her chin. "False? Oh, Hel. What mother would ever be falsely affectionate with her dear, sweet daughter? I'm hurt that you would even suggest my love for you is anything but sincere."

The reaper jerked her chin away from Na’s touch, and instead lowered her head a bit and looked off to the side. Her eyes lidded and her lips pulled into a very small grimace. Hel wouldn’t out right say it, but Na’ima’s words just now…they stung. Granted, the Horsewoman was entitled, even she knew, to get back at her for being a bother, but this…this was crossing a line. Hel wouldn’t ever do this to her, she wouldn’t do this to anyone. It stung because she did look up to her like a parental figure, even with as unwilling as it was, and deep down, the reaper did know Na’ima wasn’t fond of her but…it was hope that kept her in there, but right now, that hope was being squashed.
“I do not imagine Gramps would be pleased to hear you telling lies, eh, Na?”

Na'ima made another cooing tsk sound as Hel refused to play along with her coaxing, patting the ghoul's shoulder and feeling absolutely no remorse for anything she was doing. To her, Hel deserved this. To Na'ima this was fair. She had told her to behave.
She had made it clear how she felt for the ghoul.
But then Hel played her own card and Na'ima's eyes narrowed. She leaned in close to whisper, "I never lie, child," before standing straight again. She toyed with Hel's hair, tucking some of it behind her ears with a thoughtful hum. "You will show me around and entertain me, Hel. And perhaps I will give you something nice."
Maybe.
If she earned it.
"I wish to meet you Mac, among others."

“Oh? I found that funny, because it has been nothing but lies since you got to this booth.” Once Na was…more or less ‘back to normal’, Hel relaxed ever so slightly. She idly batted away the Horsewoman’s hand, and then made it a point to ruffle her bangs and mess up her hair from the smoothing effort. “Eh?” She echoed, staring at the Horsewoman like she’d grown a second hand, and then stared at the booth. Oh, right…tours…ugh…though no one had been listed yet, she supposed she should be a good representative and…show someone around? Around Amity…?
“Oh, fine!” Hel cried, exasperated, and then looked back at the Horsewoman. “Uh…I highly doubt you will meet him on this tour…” She paused, and then looked suspicious. “Why do you want to meet him anyways?” Regardless, Hel was starting to walk away from the booth, and she waved an arm to indicate that Na should follow her.

A long peal that consisted of a high pitched keening noise mingled with some other sweet words was Belladonna's announcement that she was still at the booth, her fancy outfit back to rights even if she had totally not even bothered to open the booth it was supposed to be being used for. Tonight she was just ever so slightly scatter brained, do forgive her... The high note was meant for Mort, but it was Hel that the witch found herself rushing to for a hug, meeting the ghoul on her way out which just so happened to be right in the witch's path. "Oh! Hel! Look look Mort is here!" That was reason enough for the Valkyrie to stay, so Belladonna grabbed her friend's hand but paused when she noticed someone else behind Hel. Never one to skimp on niceties, especially when they involved getting the chance to chat with such colorfully dressed people, the witch straightened up and put a wide smile on her face. "Happy House Cup!"Quickly she gave the two women a small gesture of 'one moment' before the witch darted off. Both hands wrapped around Mort's arm and squeezed it tight, the witch indicating that he should come over and meet people too. Regardless of whether he really wanted to or not, Belladonna drug her zombie back to the pair and curtseyed proper. "Hel! Who is your enchanting looking friend?" Batting pink eyes up at the woman, Belladonna quickly tennis balled her gaze between Hel and the mysterious lady, silently begging Hel to make introductions.

But then Hel was stopped, because she recognized that loud noise, and she wanted to prove to Bella that she was wearing that damn outfit. “Ack, hey, Bella!” She hugged the ghoul tightly in return, and then watched her go to get Mort. Hel managed to give the zomboil a grin and a wave. “Yo, Mort.” She greeted, and couldn’t help but smirk…because some of Hel’s past time was spent trying to steal his woman.
The reaper snorted though, as Bella described Na as enchanting, but regardless…introductions were in order…and Hel saw a chance for pay back.
“Ah, ya…this is Na, she is the apprentice to Gramps…also his squeeze I am certain…or…to you both, this is mother…”
Cue wicked grin.
"And Na, this is Belladonna, and her boilfriend, Mort...also scarelings of Gramps!"

Well, so much for attempting to score the booth.
Mort blinked as he was rapidly transferred from by the sweets to a gaggle of ghouls, one of whom he did know. The zomboil blinked again, unsure of what to make of this other than the fact that socially he was a little uncomfortable right now. But Bells had apparently learned how to death grip from watching him.
. . . Wait, what? Mother? Apprentice?
Mort made a face that clearly showed he was not mentally prepared for this encounter. Had he any major organs, it could have been mistaken for a constipated face.

"Because he is your chosen. Why would I not wish to meet him?" Na'ima asked with a raised brow. She just wanted to know who she was keeping an eye on to make sure Hel was never single again. They were on their way away from the booth when a loud child ran and practically tackled Hel. She closed her eyes a moment. Why were scarelings so loud?! Ugh! Coming here had been a bad idea. Even pissing off Hel wasn't worth this headache. Na'ima smiled politely behind her veil, though she wasn't exactly committed to the feeling. "Happy House Cup."The ghoul ran off and Na'ima blinked. Was that it? Oh. No. It wasn't. She brought a friend. How nice. Wasn't this the ghoul she had been told was Belladonna? Hel went ahead and introduced her, and all was well until also his squeeze and this is mother. A hand touched one of the pouches hanging from her hip. Vials. She had poisons in there. One sip could knock Hel out. No one would ever suspect her. "Salbei has told me of the two of you, it is a pleasure to meet you, Belladonna, Mort." Na'ima narrowed her eyes at Hel a moment. "I am neither Salbei's sexual partner nor am I anyone's mother," she added for clarification. She watched Mort a moment. That face.. "...Are you all right, Mort?"

There were a great quantity of things Belladonna wanted to relay to both Hel and Mort separately, but also together because she wanted to tell them of her terrible test that had made her bleed everywhere for a bit of sympathy. Now that the pair were in her sights she decided, nearly suddenly but not quite, to do her level best not to let either out from under her gaze, totally on personal and very silly reasons. But none of these thoughts were voiced as instead the witch went all over very genteel to be introduced, inclining her head politely to the horsewoman. "Na, it is a pleasure to meet you! Is 'Na' a nickname of sorts?" It was such a short name if it weren't! But the witch looked interested and happy to meet someone new, even if a small alarm went off in her head when Hel said that Na was Sal's apprentice. That was.... Awfully familiar for someone Sal may or may not be involved with as well. There had once been a story the horseman had told the witch about a past lover and this was definitely not that lady. Which meant... "Are you dating Papa Sal then?" It was so hard to push down the knee jerk reaction to just pour out questions at the mare, but Belladonna kept herself in check, though she did wiggle a little and tug on Mort's arm a bit. At least until Miss Na asked if said zombie was alright... Blinking, the ghoul turned to her boilfriend and tugged on his arm harder. No no no nononononononoo he had to be ok right now ok ok.
