Jarlan's face grew pink, and he let go. "I know that.. I just.." He shook his head and nodded to her 'I hope so.' He climbed into the plane after her, an afterthought popping up. Wait.. I'm wearing one of Dad's shirts and it fits fine.. Wylie's wearing one of his sweaters and it falls off her shoulder like that... His face grew redder at the mental image that popped in his head and he sat down quickly and buckled, looking at the floor.Nieve took her seat next to Iniko and smiled, fiddling with her hands. Once everyone was buckled, the plane took off and she glanced around. After a few minutes of doing nothing, she grew uncomfortable and did something she knew would make her grow comfortable again, sing. Her voice was low, and for a slight moment, she hoped no one heard her. “Will I stay, where I’m safe and sound? Or will I fight, till I hit the ground? Inside this bitter cage, all the flowers wilt down in the crimson sky.” Nieve had been locked in her room for a year now, and she sat on her bed, legs pulled up to her chest. The door to her room had clicked open and her head snapped up to look at the guards entering. “No. Leave me alone!” She threw her hands up, effectively freezing the two guards solid. She hadn’t seen the third guard and he grabbed her in a way that forced her hands to lay flat against her hips. “Let me go!” She began to writhe and kick around as she was being dragged out, accidentally kicking one of the frozen guards over. She stopped trying to get out of the guard's grasp, a sadistic smile on her face as she watched the frozen man shatter across her floor. “Take my hand, will we run or stay? In this world full of cruelty,” The four of them had just been taken to their rooms for the night, and sixteen year old Nieve watched her door be shut in her face. She placed her hand against it flat when suddenly the alarms began to sound. “What? What’s going on?” She stood tall, trying to see what was happening through the window that adorned her door. After not seeing anything for a minute or two, she finally saw someone running and instantly recognized who it was. “In-iniko?” He was suddenly at her door, trying to get it to open. “How did you…? Nevermind that. Just run, it won’t open!” She slid her hand through the window and he grabbed it, looking into her eyes. “I’ll come back for you guys, I promise.” Nieve gave a nod and let go of his hand. “And we’ll be waiting. Now run!” She watched him run off, tears freezing on her cheeks. “Please be safe.” She whispered out into the empty hall. “Will we take arms, with the hope to see the sun again? We pray…” Nieve was now seventeen, and had just been restrained due to her constant freezing of and fighting with the guards. She looked at her wrist cuffs and tugged against them several times, to no avail. Her wrists soon became irritated and she stopped, closing her eyes. She felt the single tear fall and freeze. “Please don’t forget us Iniko…” “Do we have the strength to fight? Have we lost the will to fly? The world is dark, the world is cruel, but still we hang on tight.” She had been restrained for weeks, and she swore her tear ducts were now frozen over. Her room had grown several degrees colder and she looked to the floor, smiling at the ice chunks that were scattered. She couldn’t count how many of those had been from guards who came in, but she did count something else. Glancing at the door for the thirteenth time today, she counted the minutes that had passed since the last guard came in. “I can wait. He said he’ll come, and he will. I just need to wait.” “If this final breath, could somehow save this world…” A few weeks before Iniko had rescued them all, Nieve had been unrestrained much to her confusion. They were safer when she was restrained, so why take the risk of being frozen? She had been too focused on rubbing her wrists that she hadn’t noticed the four guards come in and grab her, pulling her out of her room. “I didn’t do anything this time! Put me back!” She floundered about, but it wasn’t helping her any. She was dragged into a room that had a giant tub in the middle of it. Nieve saw the steam coming off the water and she began to panic, trying to yank her arms away from the guards. “No. No. No. No. Please no.” A female doctor had taken her out of her normal dress, and re-clothed her in a new dress that wouldn’t negatively affect this experiment. After being hooked up to monitors with waterproof sensors, the guards held her above the tub. She stopped trying to move, for she didn’t want to be dropped in. The beep of the heart monitor showed that her heart was beating slightly faster than normal, due to the fear of going into it. Just the hot steam was starting to burn her. She was lowered a bit, her legs now completely under the water. She screamed as her skin turned red and felt like it was on fire, and began to kick her legs. “Stop! It hurts! Stop!” The doctor took notes and the beeping of the heart monitor sped up. “Please let me go back to my room!” Once more she was lowered, her torso above the water. She screamed in agony, and any tears she had left, came out then. The beeping of the monitor sped up and she heard it going faster and faster before she inhaled and her head was shoved under the water. “I’d breathe my last sigh, and close my tired eyes.” As her head went under, the breath she had taken escaped in an attempt to scream. She began to thrash, her entire body turning red, and water began to slosh and spill over. She felt her body burning and her heart was beating so fast she could feel it jumping out of her chest, trying to escape the water with her. She had to be under for at least a minute before she was pulled out of it, her vision blurring and darkening. She coughed hard and many times, letting the water out of her lungs and she heard the beeping of the heart monitor - which sounded like it was hooked up to someone having a heart attack - before she shut her eyes and her world went dark. “And all the ones we lost, we’ll find again, in this beautiful world we wished for.” Nieve glanced around, seeing nothing but black. She began to run in a direction until she was blinded. She blinked, eyes adjusting to the light and she saw grass, and the sky. She smiled and saw two familiar faces. “Jarlan! Wylie!” She ran up to them and hugged them both. “It’s been so long!” She pulled away and they said nothing, instead just smiling. Looking behind them, she saw the familiar red eyes. “Iniko!” She ran out to him, but she wasn’t getting any closer. Suddenly, her eyes opened, and she glanced at herself, bandaged up. She closed her eyes again, and screamed out of despair. “But the world grows darker, we can’t recover. This narrow cage that we depend on slowly crumbles.” She had been hooked up to her chains standing for a few days now, and had just frozen another guard. As punishment, her world was to go black. She tried to shake her head, but the blinding mask had already been tied tightly around her eyes. “Just because I can’t see you, doesn’t mean I won’t freeze you!” She spat out angerly as she heard her door slam shut. “Is this the end we cannot mend? We’re slowly dying…” Nieve listened to the footsteps that resounded in her room and frowned when they stopped. She turned her head, as if she could see, to where she felt a hand grab her arm and straighten it out. She didn’t say a word when she felt the tapping against her vein, but sucked in a breath when the burning needle pierced her skin and made its way into that same vein. She felt the hot serum being released into her bloodstream and she whimpered. The needle was taken out, and the footsteps began to grow quieter before she was left in silence. “If we’re here, even in fear, we must keep fighting.” The blinding mask tampered with her accuracy, but that didn’t stop Nieve from trying to freeze the prying guards. After freezing a few that were trying to inject her again, she screamed out. “Just leave me alone!” Suddenly, the air chilled and the room’s temperature had dropped immensely. She had created a frozen chamber, threatening frostbite to anyone that tried to touch the walls or the door. She finished her song, and the flashbacks that came with each line and felt a little better, even if the memories were painful to remember. ((Here's the song if you want to listen to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WX59fK8Ya_4 ))

Wylie, hearing Nieve's singing, glanced over at her. Unable to resist, she peeked into her mind, and shuddered. Though the plane was jumping around, and it was probably dangerous, Wylie unclipped her seat belt, making her way over to Nieve, and sitting next to her, buckling back in, and wrapping an arma round her. Her hand grazed where Iniko had left his, but she didn't move. Instead she rested her head against Nieve's shoulder, and began humming along to her song.
Iniko glanced up when he saw Wylie push to her feet, slowing down time- as tense as it was to watch that trek in slow mo- so the he could catch her if she fell again, and shifting a bit when she sat down and wrapped an arm around Nieve as well. He looked at the girls for a moment, before glancing over at Jarlan and Jameson to see how they were doing.

Jarlan was too busy looking at the floor with a red face to notice Wylie get up and change seats. As if he wasn't flustered enough, Jarlan's mind began to wander. 'Waitaminute... If Wylie knew about the meadow..." His head immediately thought about the few hormone filled dreams he had about Wylie and how there was a possibility that she had seen them. He shook his head quickly, trying to not think anymore.
Nieve blinked at the new arms around her. When Wylie leaned her head against her shoulder and began to hum along, Nieve figured out that Wylie might've looked into her head. She had finished her song and glanced down at her hands, which she had clasped together tight enough to turn her knuckles white.

"I'm sorry I peeked, I can't help it sometimes." From anyone else, that might've been an excuse, but from Wylie, it wasn't far off. Often it was a compulsion to look into someone's mind and see what all they'd seen. Noticing her hand, she rested her hand on top of it, and rubbed her thumb lightly on the knuckles.
"We're almost there."

Jarlan snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Jameson's voice. "Alright. Time to be normal I guess." He was relieved, because now he had something else to think about. Glancing over at the others, he realized he was so far away from them. "When'd you all go over there?"
Nieve felt a little comforted, knowing she didn't have to speak out what had happened to her and having someone else know. Her grip loosened and she took in a deep breath. When Jameson let them know they were almost there, she grew a bit excited. She was going to experience what 'outside' really was.

Wylie raised her gaze to him, shrugging. "Not too long ago. Why, when'd you get over there?" She stuck her tongue out teasingly at him, before smiling at tilting her head, her hand still resting on Nieve's.
Iniko glanced over at Jameson, wondering how busy the bazaar thing he was taking them would be. He didn't want any of the others to be overwhelmed. They'd been taught the value of money while in the lab, though he wasn't sure why. What had they been raising them up for, anyway.

Jarlan stuck his tongue out at her. "I've been here the whole time." He didn't like it when the plane had landed last time, so he held onto the arm rests this time.
Nieve had a small smile on her face, and she was chuckling at Jarlan and Wylie. Then Nieve tilted her head. "Hey Jarlan, I just realized something." He turned and looked at her confused. "You're last name is Jameson. You're Jarlan Jameson." Jarlan gave a small nod, realizing he now had a last name. "I'm going to call you JJ." She giggled.
Jarlan frowned. "Please don't. That's just. .. odd."

Wylie giggled at the comment about calling him JJ. "Silly Nieve, his nickname makes more sense as dormouse." She leaned on Nieve affectionately, chuckling to herself. "I wonder if any of us would've had funny names if we had our last name."
The plane, designed to land on both land and on water, came to it's descent, before coming to a safe- but very bumpy- stop. "We're here." Jameson stood up, turned everything off, and glanced back at them, before opening up the door for them.
Iniko stood up first, unbuckling and heading out the door, waiting outside to help them out if they needed it.
Wylie unbuckled herself, but waited for Nieve and Jarlan to go first.

Nieve nodded. "I'm sure we would've." She unbuckled and made her way to the edge of the plane and exited it smoothly, unlike the previous time. She stood by Iniko, rocking back and forth on her feet.
Jarlan unbuckled, after prying his hands off of the arm rests. He stood slowly, and made his way off the plane faster than anyone had seen him walk before. "C'mon Wylie, your turn." He called out, standing by the door to help her if she needed it.

Wylie chuckled. "Of course, it's hard to get a name weirder than wyanet already is, right?" She watched the others exit, noting with some amusement that Jarlan seemed almost afraid of his fathers plane, before following them out and jumping full force out of the plane, like she'd done before, and striking a pose when she landed successfully. "Ta-ta!"
Iniko rolled his eyes at Wylie, but laughed, before reaching out to hold Nieve's hand, swinging it softly. He leaned towards her and whispered, "Guess what."

Jarlan chuckled at Wylie's pose. "Perfect ten." He clapped slowly and took a breather, glad to be out of the plane. "Alright! Time to go find Nieve a dress, and hopefully some fabric that Wylie can make a dress out of." He looked at Iniko and his father, trying to see who would be the leader of their group.
Nieve laughed at Wylie and then smiled as Iniko swung her hand. She tightened her grip on his hand, swinging it along with his. She tilted her head softly, her hair falling out from behind her ear. "Hmm? What?" She whispered back.

Wylie bowed when Jarlan clapped, but halfway through it she realized her sweater would gape and show off her assets to everybody, she straightened quickly with a slight blush, and sheepishly shoved some hair out of her face. "Oh, and a sweater that fits me right, right?"
Jameson nodded. "And to get the two of you some jeans of your own."
Iniko smirked, and kissed her head softly. "I love you." Before he turned and, still holding Nieve's hand, followed Jameson as he led the way into the bazaar.

Jarlan watched her bow, and his eyes had gone to look straight down the sweater. Quickly averting his eyes to the floor, his face flushed and her nodded. "Yes and a sweater that fits. We should do that second. Find the fabrics third." He watched as the others began to walk and he focused on following them, instead of thinking about what he just saw. Today was not going to be an easy day for Jarlan, no it wasn't.
Nieve flushed softly, and followed along. "I love you too." She whispered out, smiling and skipping up to be at his side. She watched as they came closer to the bazaar and her eyes widened nervously at the people she could see walking around.

Wylie, still blushing, decided to peek into the minds of her friends to distract herself from what happened- and instead saw a perfect mental image of what had just happened emblazened in Jarlan's mind. Her face going brighter, she nodded. "Yes, yes, a sweater that fits."
Jameson glanced at Wylie, then at Jarlan, and then chuckled adn whispered to his son, "Catch an eyeful, boy?"
Iniko, noticing she looked nervous, wrapped his arm around Nieve. "Hey, it'll be okay. Do you want a blue dress, or some new color?"

Jarlan's face turned brighter as he father said something, and he responded in a slightly higher tone than his voice normally was. "Ididn'tmeantoitjusthappenedI'msosorryWylie." He blinked at his voice and ruffled his hair.
Nieve blinked and looked up at him. "I-I want blue." She looked down at her dress and glanced back up at him. "We can grab a different color fabric, but I want blue." She didn't really know another color that she looked good in, so even finding a different color fabric was going to be difficult.
