The next fragment he snagged filled Zealot with a sense of accomplishment. Only a few more and he could gift them to his goddess. He hoped she liked his gift of fragments. He hoped they proved he was worthy of taking the next step to become a goddess himself.
Obviously there was words from this one two, but it made no sense to him.

The next fragment made even less sense than the last. Maybe they weren't really meant to be taken seriously at all?

Zealot was almost glad to not grab a fragment as he pondered what they could possibly even mean. Maybe they were just nothing at all - just a test the goddesses had given them to see if they were worth the effort to raise up.
He hoped so.

That was what he thought when he noticed the ruins of this world. But what was odd was the little crystals scattered around, and without even thinking he bent down to pick one of them up.

What did they mean? He puzzled over the voice he had heard before as he attempted to catch another crystal. That name was strangely unfamiliar to him, and so was that deep gruff voice that had said it. But Breuse felt that he needed to know more about these people, for some odd reason...

Ajsak nods a few times before she finally looks up "Yea, I think so. I'm just trying to get some of these fragments, but they keep getting away from me...." looking down, she smiles when she see one just by her knee. Giving it a small poke, her smile fades as she see she unable to gran it.

There was not much left of this place, being taken over by decay and rot and what might have been crumbling buildings. It was hauntingly pretty really, from what she could gather as she stepped into the new place. Different than the last. Scenic maybe.
What could have been fingers brushed lightly at one of the pillars as she passed it when something caught her eye. It was a small shard of something, pulsing and glowing. A task. Palem quickly swatted at it, letting her hand wrap around its small form.
"That's what happens when you're so full of yourself." An angry voice said, almost making her drop what she held. It was gone as if a whisper but those words seemed to cut deep. Why, she did not know.
But she let it pass.
