Hekshi had to admit she was still a little tired after all of the ruckus of getting down a hallway......
and all she had to show for it was a sentient dirt-bed. She was really too tired for all this, taking up her blade and stabbing it into them.

Shaw wasn't sure why this one building in the endless expanse of dilapidated ruins called to him, but he found himself ducking through it's doorframe anyway. The floor was littered with sheetrock, broken tiles, nails, and beams that seemed to have fallen from the floors above.
It wasn't safe here. He ought to turn around and go, but he continued. Moving some shelves out of his way left him with a nasty splinter, as if the place itself wanted him gone.

Tiek made it to the bedroom. It was spacious and the two beds looked like, at one time, they were inviting to lay upon. Now a sinister feeling crept along his skin. Swallowing, he inched further in and spied a shadow that moved despite the way the light fell from the gouges in the ceiling.
Tensing at the sight, the monster (what Tiek dubbed Shadow) lunged and scratched his arm. Wincing, he unhooked Simple Creation from his belt and threw it at Shadow. It whizzed quickly through the air, making a zip sound as it did so. The hit was critical! Grinning, Tiek deftly caught the weapon and returned it to his side.
Unfortunately, Shadow was not very pleased at getting hurt...

Angered by the previous blow, Shadow hissed and lunged again. Tiek tried to parry. That didn't work well at all. The shadow bit deeply into his arm, laving nasty scratches. Grimacing, Tiekash wielded his boomerang like a sword and cut along the underside (He assumed?) of Shadow.
With an unnatural wail the monster dissipated, leaving Tiek in a dirty room. The Blue Rose was starting to feel VERY dangerous...

After the bedroom of DEATH was a large, glorious parlor. On the far side was a door, through which pin points of lights shone, illuminating dancing particles of dust. Coughing into his shoulder, Tiek ran towards the door and grasped the handles, jiggling them roughly. It wouldn't budge.
Cursing, he finally noticed the Piano beside him. With hesitation, he thought of what this could mean and came up that to get out he'd need to play. However, he had no idea HOW to do that. Instead, he began to slam his fists against the keys.
Well, that really didn't work.

From the spire to the ruins Sarviur wandered: it was safe in the ruins, see.
Safer, anyway, or so Sarviur thought. At least, uh, he hadn't managed to run into dangerous things that tried to kill him yet. Just roller coasters and swings and a gift shop. That sort of thing was fine. His blue core pulsed yellow with worry as he wandered, though. He shouldn't let his guard down; dying was a bad thing! And yet...The Blue Rose (was that what it said? Sarviur didn't remember learning how to read!) was a comforting name. In part due to the blue: Sarviur had discovered that he liked blue.
So that was where he walked, cloven hooves careful to avoid gaps between the damaged wooden slats on the floor. How long had this place stood here?
In his reverie he wandered through a litter-filled hallway, and dodged shelves and glass and, once, a falling beam as though he was in a dream. The place was blue, after all - Sarviur supposed that was why it was so easy. There was a door at the end, and he pulled it open curiously.

The bed-monster smelled like mold which scattered everywhere as she punched it, causing Hekhis to recoil back and cough painfully.
Someone needed a bath and it would be her after all of that.

Shoo debris shooooo. Slash away slightly whatever is fall on them, Decyl still gets hit on the head occasionally by stray pieces. He can appreciate that the room must have once look absolutely stunning, but as of now, it's just falling apart. They should have paid for a repair bill.

Ah, bedrooms! It must have been an inn, or a hotel. An old one, where things lingered to watch countless people progress past. Sorry, not people - spirits. Shadows. Those with hearts.
That last name comforted Sarviur most, and he found himself browsing curiously, and yet without touching. Nothing was his to touch, after all - his hand smacked on a door as he exited a room and it slammed shut. Sarviur winced; he hadn't meant to do that. Something strangely substantial rose out of the floor space beneath it, and Sarviur backed himself back into the room, nearer the bed.
He could do this. He'd faced more frightening things!

GDI. He really needs to catch up, the girls are almost done and he's still stuck back here. Decyl let out a sigh before charging forward again and gets hit again by the fall debris. He and debris just don't mix.
