"Right now I should worry about you more than myself," Darian replies, "Lael wrapped my wound when we first met her, in case you've forgotten something that only happened a couple hours ago."

Leaning against Jay, she sighs, "I guess so... You'll be happy to hear, then, that my migraine is going away."

"That's good to hear," Darian replies, "However there's still the matter of the cut on your side. It's not that bad, I've certainly seen worse, but we still need to get it bandaged up."

Kitara nods, acknowledging his thought about her wound. She just rests against Jay and lets Lael deal with her wound, Darian watching nearby.

Darian's thoughts wander to the scar on his face. It was almost frightening how close he had come to being blinded in his left eye. The scar ran straight down from the outside corner of his eye to the bottom of his face.

Lael frowns as she takes the boiling water off the fire. "What's this talk of migranes?" she asks. After letting the water cool a bit she puts a cloth into it and then begins to clean out Kitara's wound with it, being as careful as she can.

The blue-haired elvish lady smiles gently, though she winces slightly from the wound.
"Ever since I was a kid, about 20 years old, I've been suffering from migraines. They come and go as they please, disabling me when I get one," she says.
She laughs, "No one has figured out why I even get them. Some say that I ate a poison that affected my brain cells somehow. Others say that I bugged Darian and others around me too much and was punished with the migraines due to that. Yet others say that I was born with this affinity towards getting migraines. To say the least, no one knows why I get them nor how I can get rid of them."

Lael continues to concentrate on her wound while replying, "Well, I don't know to much about migranes... And I'm not a great doctor... But out of those the one that sounds the most likely to me is that you were just born with an affinity towards migraines. People can be born with affinities towards some cancer, non-genetic mental dieses, even things like the flu. But things like that often run in famlies. Did anyone else in your family ever get them?"

The elvish lady shakes her head, "No. No one in my family, neither immediate nor extended, has ever had such problems as me. That's why it's so strange, even to the wisest of elvish doctors."

"Hm...." Lael says as she finishes cleaning out the wound. She begins to bandage it as she continues, "Well, then it's possible that you ate something as a child. I've heard of some herbs or fruits that can cause similar effects, although never one that causes migraines. But then again, I just studied with our village healing worman! What do I know?" She finishes with the bandages and ties the bandage with a firm knot. "There. You'll have to be careful for a few days. No quick movements around your waist. You should be completely healed in at least two weeks, although you'll be able to take off the bandages in 1. If things go well, that is. Which they hopefully will." She laughs nervously a bit.

Kitara sits up fully before she reaches for her quiver. She reaches into it and pulls out an extra shirt, obviously an any gender kind of shirt. She stands up and goes to brushes, changing quickly into the shirt. She comes back, the other shirt in her hands.
"I need to fix this once I get a needle and thread to match my shirt," she smiles before nodding to Lael, "Thank you, Lael. I am much indebted to you for your kindness."
She turns back to Jay and helps him stand up. He hugs her before going to transform again, glad that she is fine. The elf then picks up her items, including her sword.
"I don't think I ate something different than other elves, though. I was very cautious about what I ate, as I am nowadays," she says before laughing, "I guess somethings don't change."

Lael smiles. "Indebted to me? No. I think that it is I who is indebted to you."
She thinks for a bit. "Well, if it wasn't something you ate, and it doesn't run in your family, I must declare myself at a loss! Perhaps that's just the way you are."

Elvini pauses, "How would you be indebted to me? You helped my cousin and you helped me. I don't see how you would owe anything to me."
She shrugs at what Lael says about the migraines, "I deal with them and they deal with me. It's what happens and what I've always had to deal with. Call it a thorn in my side, if you wish."
Jay flies back to her shoulder as she turns to her cousin, "Darian, should we see if there is anything else that we could use that this group had? I mean, it's either we find it or others do. What do you think?"

"You allowed me to travel with you. I was alone and scared before. Without you I very well could have run into those soldiers," she motions to the dead, "and been killed. And..... And you are leading me to a place where I might find out more about..." she stops for a moment. I have to say it out loud sometime, she thinks. "A-About what happened to m-my village. Yes. I-I feel I am very much in dept to you." She blushes. "Sorry about the speach. I don't usually do that."

Though she waits for her cousin's response, Kitara steps up to the albino. She lays a hand gently on the girl's arm.
"It's okay. I understand," she says, before smiling, "Let's say we're even and call each other friends, okay?"
