As if she'd never get out of this one room? Amarus felt calm, though; calm, and kind of lovely. The sound of her own bells kept reminding her that she was feeling just fine, and she'd even gotten to help plan the beverages for catering. It was so worth it, wasn't it?
"Perhaps before the night is through, I will try some of those..."
Distracted by the floors, the gnome, the thought of drinks she tripped and couldn't quite make it. How did she trip? Who knew, who knew. Stupid floors.

A sort of blissful nothing overcame Amarus, and she smiled to herself, brushing her prom dress off and far more gracefully than normal exiting the first chamber.
She did wonder, perhaps, what was going on back in the main prom, but for some reason it didn't seem to matter too much. Everything would be just fine, after all, wouldn't it?
Amarus didn't really know the answer to that question, but she was nevertheless feeling quite fine. Being pretty was kind of nice, too; she wasn't used to picking such nice things for herself, and in a way, it was liberating.
The luna moth wings trailed after her as she progressed.

It was a good thing she had just been thinking how pretty she felt, because she now had to look at an entire distorted slew of her own image. If there was one thing she was fairly confident about, it was herself: Amarus' soft curls even kind of complimented her face, making her look more gentle than she normally did. It was kind of refreshing, to think she could also look so ... not vicious.
Well, it was wrong, but hey; not everything was as it seemed.
Amarus trailed her fingertips along the mirror faces, to help orient herself. She did not need to escape herself. In fact, somewhere faint and distant, she felt a hint of memories long gone: looking at a reflection of herself, and finally knowing what it was she had to solve.
What had that been? Amarus felt a tinge of pain as she struggled to bury whatever sensation of sadness it was. She felt as though a part of her was struggling to surface, buried and chained and in pain; what had she done to her other self, to this fragment creature?
She'd lost someone very precious to them. She couldn't know that. It was just a distant memory.
Nevertheless, she was grateful to get out of the hall of mirrors--
Hey, wasn't that...
She could have sworn she'd glimpsed Siku, for a moment.

Rather than hitting up the games again, Shun decided to try and take Mitsu somewhere else in the area. He held her hand as they walked along, until they came upon the funhouse. The signs at the entrance were things he completely disregarded.
"Let's go through here," he said as he started to make his way on in.
The first thing he noticed upon entering was that the floor was... weird. It was moving all over the place. But, their destination was fairly clear.
"Watch your step," he quietly warned as he stepped on out. It would take some balance and focus to get across. Though, someone was trying to distract him. Narrowing his eyes, he stared at the carnival gnome that was yammering his head off to try and keep him from focusing properly.
"Don't make me stab you," he hissed.

Amarus felt kinda sleepy. She wondered if Siku really was nearby; "If you're there, Siku, you should just say hello," she said aloud.
She had no dignity anyway. Pride, lots of it. Self-confidence, definitely. Dignity? Debatable.
And that was how she got stuck, treading in the ballpit: she really hoped this wouldn't ruin her dress.

Forget the ball pit.
Amarus was, yet again, assaulted by a gnome. This time, it was glitter. She sneezed, cringed, and tried her best to reach up so that she could smear the glitter all over the creature.
It was too far away, but it proved a motivator for the remainder of her time in the pit.

"When I am free, I will make you suffer, glitter gnome. Suffer like your sled-racing cohorts suffered," she said, with a steel edge to her voice.
Turned out that just like seeing the image of herself in the distorted corridor helped, feeling a blossoming urge to exact revenge revived Amarus from her ballpit-encumbered state. She fought her way to the edge, relieved to see that her dress had held up, and swore that she would be enemy to gnomes everywhere from then on.
Amarus turned around, to stare at the ball pit, and see if Siku was in fact following her, so that she could make sure he made it out of this stupid pit alright.

Detouring from the games for now Mitsu followed Shun as he lead her toward the fun house, her bear in one arm and her free hand holding his. She wasn't sure what to make of the fun house but stepped inside at Shun's invitation. The first room wasn't quite what she expected, it seemed more like an obstacle course than a fun house. Unless watching them was for someone else's fun.....she wouldn't put it passed anyone.
"Alright." She let go of Shun's hand as he advanced, wrapping her now free hand around the other side of her bear to hold it securely. If only she had heeded Shun's warning about being careful a little more. As she took her first step she missed something that had been sitting on the floor in front of her and managed to trip before she even got to the first panel.

Hearing a thud behind him, Shun turned around to see that Mitsu had tripped and fell.
"Are you alright?" he asked as he made his way. He was mostly across the room now, but all of the sudden, the floors began to shift erratically. This caused him to crash down, himself.
"Kuso....."

"I...I'm alright." Mitsu mumbled as she pushed herself back to her feet and inspected her bear to make sure that it was still in one piece. This time she waited, watching Shun as he advanced and cringed when he took a tumble himself. "A...are you alright?"
She was a little unsure about this now but decided to move forward as carefully as she could. Her process went alright at first but just as soon as she got to the area where Shun had been the floor shifted quickly and she found herself falling.
"Ahhhhhh!"

"Yes.. I'm fine," he mumbled, though he didn't sound particularly amused. As carefully as he could, he pushed himself up to his feet, hoping to regain balance. Shun also tried to catch Mitsu if possible.
There wasn't much else he could do just yet, especially since the nearby gnome had started to jeer and mock him.
The temptation to try and cut off his tongue was strong.

As she went tumbling back Mitsu was afraid she was going to hit the floor hard but thankfully Shun was there to catch her and right her balance once again. It was just too bad she didn't learn from her previous experience because just as before she started to make her way across and the floor shifted too quickly sending her tumbling back.
"I..is it possible to get passed this?" She hoped someone was amused by this.

This time around, Shun wasn't quite able to catch Mitsu. And this room was increasingly becoming more aggravating.
"It is," he said firmly in turn.
As if to prove his point, he let out a slow breath, then worked his way across the platforms. Before much longer, he had managed to reach the other side without being thrown off his feet.
"There..."

Getting back to her feet for the third time Mitsu dusted off her panda before turning to watch Shun make his way across the room to the next floor. She was nervous to watch afraid he was going to fall again but apparently this time he was allowed to pass.
When it came to her turn, however, she hesitated. Would she be able to do it this time? Trying to keep in mind where Shun had stepped Mitsu followed his path to the next floor. There were a couple of times she expected to fall but finally after a short while she managed to make it and stood beside Shun.

"Good job," Shun nodded softly as she managed to make her way across. Now they could continue on. Letting out another breath, he turned around and went on into the next room. The place was filled with mirrors from the looks of things. Many of the reflections were distorted, and it was difficult to tell where the path was exactly.
"..Lovely."
With a sort of grimace, he went on to try and navigate this mirror maze. It was disorienting as all hell, but somehow, he managed to make it to the other side.
"Mitsu, did you see which way I had gone?" he called out.
