Dara looked towards the tear, wondering if she could force it open with her wavelength and find Eric. But first she had to help her friends, once again she wrapped the chains around the beast, pulling around his neck and arms. "After this, I'm going through that tear. I don't care if it puts me in danger."
"If you can't be number one by yourself, then surround yourself with strong friends, and be number one together."
Shira's bullet shot straight into the tube, going down the shaft at a fast pace. There was a flash and then the gigantos's entire arm exploded in a blast of energy, blood and metal. Metal shrapnel went in every direction. One whizzed straight past Shira's hair, causing her cap to almost blow off. Another bounced on the ground right in front of Dara, shooting back upwards and narrowly missing her head. Two metal pieces shot straight between Michi's tails, missing them by less than an inch and one piece helicoptered over Aislin's head. If she had been a foot taller she would have been decapitated. The monster stumbled as it roared in agony. The explosion had taken off its entire arm and shoulder, as well as a section of its chest. It was badly wounded, but still had one arm left. It charged forwards, swinging it towards Shira in its fury over what she had just done.

The gigantos tracked Shira as she ran back and forth, unable to get close to her due to Dara's chains. It gave a few ineffectual swings with its remaining hand before it finally raised it, powering up another shot in its animal-like anger as it tried to blow Shira away. The glow from deep inside its palm appeared, signaling an impending attack.

It only took several seconds for Shira's second bullet to find its mark and with the same results. The gigantos's other arm went up in a spectacular explosion, sending debris whizzing in every direction. When the smoke cleared the gigantos was stumbling around in a daze, both arms and much of its chest missing. It stood for several seconds before falling face-forward to the ground with an earth-shaking crash. The gigantos had been defeated. The wide open room they were in fell silent. The only other exit was a massive set of wooden double-doors on the other side of the room. They slowly opened on their own with a loud creaking. Nothing but blackness was beyond them.

She fell to the ground due to exhaustion from having to use an ability that she wasn't used to using. Dara looked towards the door and without thinking ran towards it.
"If you can't be number one by yourself, then surround yourself with strong friends, and be number one together."
Through out the whole battle between them and the beast, Atticus had remained eerily quiet. It wasn't until after the combined effort of the Dara, Michi and Shira, that the beast had finally gone down and for real this time. As the beast fell down, Atticus would finally speak up, "About time." he muttered before transforming back to normal and landing on the ground before the lifeless creature. Raising his hand, Atticus summoned forth his sword once more and stabbed it right into the creature head, adding insult to injury. This move on his part was out of character for Atticus, something like this was truly despicable, especially for a warrior like himself. Removing his bloodied sword from the creatures head, Atticus looked towards the doors that were opening and saw that it was pitch black. "I'm going to settle this." he told them before transforming his hand back to normal and wiping away the blood and walking towards the doors. He had not even thought to look back at Shira, to see if she was okay, his mind was set on revenge.
