"I would not wish that upon you. I could not imagine you as a normal Midgardian." Loki frowned. He could see others had not been kind to Tony whilst he had, had one such episodes. He couldn't believe how people could not understand him. Snapping from his thoughts as the man took his hand and told him there was another place he should see. When they reached their destination Loki was amazed. The place reminded him of his hide away on Asgard without the sand."Tony..." Loki gaped.

Tony managed a small smile when he heard Loki's words, but he didn't say anything else on the matter, not wanting to ruin their date any more than he already had. Grinning slightly at Loki's speechlessness, he nodded. "Thought you'd like this place." He said. Going to the edge of the water, he watched the swimming fish below, tilting his head slightly. "I always liked ponds like this." He said lightly, just talking to talk now. "The mansion where I spent my childhood had three ponds on the property. They were all full of frogs and turtles and goldfish. Big ones." He continued, motioning to show Loki how big they were, amusement lighting his eyes. "Always got in trouble because I'd catch something, be it a frog or a fish and take inside to show the maids....of course they found it disgusting, they'd send me to the butler to be punished, but he just thought it was funny....." he paused at that, shaking his head. "You know....I named one of my greatest creations after him.....His first name was Jarvis.....I never told anyone that."

"It reminds me of home." Loki smiled softly moving to the edge of the water with Tony. He smiled listening to Tony story and how the butler had thought his antics were funny. Hearing that the genius had named his creation after the man had Loki giving a soft sigh. "He is no longer alive either is he? Your butler and the man whom helped you in the cave." Loki questioned. How many people had passed through Tony's short life time and touched him in such a way. Loki could name few people that had touched him in a positive way maybe none. It was why he loved Midgard, despite their short life times they cared about each other.

Tony nodded slightly at the question. “He isn’t. He passed away when I was still young.” He said, thinking about him for a moment before pushing such thoughts aside. “Anyway, this pond is a lot like one of the ones I grew up near. This was the only request I had when it came to the design of this place.” He explained. Looking to Loki, he tilted his head. “You say it reminds you of home….where?’ he asked lightly.

Loki gave a sympathetic look when Tony confirmed his suspicions about the butler having passed. "It was a perfect request." Loki smiled bending down to press a finger into the water to tempt the fish. He had done the same thing with the fish on his beach in Asgard. He had brought food then to feed them and in return they allowed him to swim with them. Looking up to Tony when the man questioned where this place reminded him of. "The beach I spoke about when I wanted to escape. There were fish much like these in the water, I grew a tree to provide shade and there were many other plants." Loki explained with a soft smile.

Watching Loki softly, Tony smiled at him. “Sounds wonderful. Is the tree still there?” he asked, slowly sitting down beside Loki. With the knowledge that no one was around and that they could remain undisturbed for as long as they wanted, he found himself able to relax. He liked the thought that Loki had been able to find a hiding place as a child and change it to his preferences..

"It was..." Loki agreed. However with the question about the tree Loki's face fell. "No, the warriors and Lady Sif thought it funny to chop it for firewood when they invaded the beach whilst I was with Angroboda. I returned to find it merely a stump and the fish gone most likely eaten. I did not return there after that." Loki informed the man. "I would like to return her though, if you would allow me." Loki inquired looking back to Tony.

Tony frowned at the news. He’d hoped to see Loki’s little hideaway when they went to Asgard. Perhaps he would get Loki to create a tree there once more though. “Lo….you don’t have to ask me permission to go anywhere or do anything. I’m not going to keep you from doing anything or going anywhere.” He said gently. “I just have to remind you that this place will have people wandering around during the day. They wouldn’t bother you though.” He said, leaning back on a hand and looking up at the tree above.

Loki looked to Tony smiling when the man said that he did not have to ask for permission. "I know but it makes me feel better to ask than to go without permission. Too many of my troubles have come from lack of communication as you've seen between Thor and myself." Loki responded. "I doubt I would often visit it without you with me but I shall keep others in mind if I decide to." Loki assured.

“Yeah, well I’m always open for you to talk to, so that should solve some of that.” He said lightly. Reaching out to hold his hand, he smiled. “I’m flattered to now you enjoy spending time with me so much.” He grinned.

"I have also been trying to make changes to myself to speak and ask more." Loki responded. Leaning against Tony he smiled when the man said he was glad that he liked spending time with him. "Why would I not enjoy time spent for you. I care for you Tony." loki sighed.

Tony chuckled at his words. “You can like someone and not want to spend time with them. Take Thor. We both like him, but I don’t think either of us could handle him for more than a little while. Jane is a saint for having the patience to put up with him.” He said slowly, plucking a blade of grass and twirling it between his fingers.

"I did not say like Tony, I said I cared for you. Not in such the way of a sibling or a friend, but in the way a lover does." Loki protested moving to straddle Tony's laps knees in the grass and hands on the man's shoulders. "Yours will always be the company I prefer over Thor's or anyone elses in the tower." he whispered against the man's ear.

Tony smirked at Loki’s words, though he did feel a small warmth at them. Letting Loki climb into his lap, Tony rested his hands on Loki’s hips, shivering at the soft puffs of air near his ear. “Good.” He replied. “Because if you spent more time with anyone else than you do with me, then I would be a very, very jealous man.” He said softly, drinking in the closeness.

Loki grinned at Tony's words about jealousy. "Jealous?" he quipped. Nipping at the man's ear lobe he then placed a kiss against the man's jaw. "What does one Anthony Stark do when he gets jealous?" Loki questioned moving kisses down the man's neck slowly until he was hovering just above the collar of his suit. He was truly curious about the man's jealous reactions. He wondered if Tony was more possessive, perhaps needing to assert his claim or would he woo carefully.
