Smith shook his head, though Cypher couldn't see him. "Question them about their motives, their friends, their foes, try and get their weaknesses out of them so that we can exploit them."

Amaranta, who had a habit of talking to herself, didn't really find it too odd that the pup was talking to nothing in particular. "Do you have an imaginary friend? Is his name Bob? Does he wear suspenders?!?!?!"

Cypher stared blankly for a moment. What on earth was this Tala on?!?! Though...maybe he could use this to his advantage...

Lunaris plopped down on his back haunches, head tilted to look up at Bella.

The pup was starting to feel like this was getting nowhere...but Smith had told him to question the two, and that is what he was going to do.
"I know a bit of defense....and yeah, that's what I use the sticks for."

Bella nodded. "Very ingenuitive. Someone as small as you would do well to run under your opponent and maybe attack a back ankle if you could without getting kicked."
Ama giggled. "BELLA AND YOU AND MR. FLOWER AND MR. TREEEEE!!! Lots of friends. I love EVERYTHING!" She tilted her head and lolled her tongue out.

Ama's face screwed up tightly as she thought long and hard. "Mushrooms." She nodded, grimacing. She had had a bad run-in with some of the more hallucinogenic mushrooms at one point and didn't care to ever have the experience again.
"Indeed, I do." The female nodded yet again. She didn't like kids, but this one wasn't quite as annoying as some of the others she had met.

Cypher sighed, losing hope in getting anything useful out of Ama.
"How about your sister? She have any enemies?"
Lunaris grinned, tail wagging just a bit. Bella's suggestion was starting a whole string of evilish ideas in his little head. One day he'd get back at Bullseye...oh yes.....
But for now, he had to learn more from this adult...at least she had a good head on her shoulders. Smith was just nuts.

Bella looked back toward the horizon, leaving the pup to his thoughts.
Ama shook her head. "No she didn't try the mushrooms. She said they didn't smell right." Standing she leaned over to lap up some water from the river. "Mmm... tasty!"
