Bullet's mind swirled around the question. This wolf didn't seem like she would cause problems at least. That was a big plus. Heck, why not. She nodded her head "Of course, and my name is Bullet." She looked to the wolf whom sat next to her with a smile, "this is Ember, another one of the newer members. We have a lot of..." Bullet searched for the right word before settling with "different. It might take some time to get use to but everyone seemed to honestly care about everyone here." She didn't want to admit the pack was have internal problems if she didn't have to. Her trust in Frost was strong and she knew the wolf would keep the pack inline.

Ember nodded her head slightly to Thorn, "Nice to meet you Thorn." As she listened to what Bullet said next she made herself keep a straight face, she knew that she couldn't show that they were having a few problems in the pack. Her ears twitched as she listened to Rail, then she jumped a little when his blood pumped fast through his body, it was like as if he was fighting something.
Her whole body turned with a slight growl, and she looked in the direction of Rail. She quickly stopped seeing that he had not moved from the spot next to the lake that he laid at. With a tilt of her head she looked at him and then looked back, "Sorry about that, I sensed his blood pressure go up and beat fast through his body, now it has slowed down. He must be sleeping." Shrugging her shoulders lightly, she turned her attention back on Bullet, "If everything is alright now, I will go back down and make sure nothing happens to him."
Once she got a confirmed nod from Bullet, she ran down the slope back to Rail. She was worried something bad had happened. As she settled down next to him she sniffed over him, but didn't see anything wrong, or any blood. Though she could feel the heat of strain coming from him, it was like as if he had an inner battle with himself...or at least that's what she thought.
Did someone attack his mind? She thought to herself as she looked up slightly with a glare. She looked to Marta first, but ruled her out...even if she was suspicious and then looked to Scarlett. It might have been her.
This time Ember laid a little closer to him, that way is he woke up she would feel his fur brush hers and would wake at an instant.

Bullet watched as Ember went to check on Rail. Knowing something was up with him Bullet decided to bring Thorn down to the sleeping pack. Looking back to the new female "Come on down, the pack is resting tonight, we have a elk kill not far from the resting spot if you're hungry. Frost is the beta and taking place of my mate while he is missing." Her eyes held the sadness that she kept out of her words. Being separated from him for years hurt and now that they had found each other he is missing again.
She stood up and began heading back down. She was on first watch and soon Marta would take second shift. About half way down she stopped to see if Thorn was coming or not before making her way to the watch spot she had. She could see everyone and keep an eye to make sure no one would start fighting. Hopefully no one tried to attack their new member during the night. The pack needed its sleep, badly.

Thorn slowly followed Bullet at a distence. She didn't want to wake any of the sleeping pack as they might think that she was an intruder. She noticed that Bullet was watching her, but that's what she expected. The sadness in Bullet's eyes as she mentioned hern mate made Thorn dip her head slightly. "I too am missing someone" She told Bullet. "My sister has been missing from my side for the past few moons. I do not know what has become of her. But I'm sure that one day we shall meet our loved one's again." Thorn tried to smile, but it was half hearted. She wasn't sure if she would ever meet her sister again. She was greatful of the offer of meat but she respectfully declined. She was exaused and needed sleep. She slowly and quietly laydown a good few feet from the rest of the pack. Soon she would make her place among them, but for now she would be patient and gain their trust. Also, she would need to learn to trust this pack also.

Marta had viewed the affairs with apparent disintrest. She had bristled with being given an order by someone she did not consider as her "superior" but in the end just conceded. She was far too tired and any of this additional stress would be sure to make her fur lose some of its glossiness. Instead, she trotted over to where Frost was sleeping, even in sleep, the wolf's ear twitched at her approach; she saw the nose sniffle then relax contented with its identification of a ally and not a foe. Marta had never been an affectionate type. Even her human handlers had feared her for her seeming complete lack of empathy. She did not quote on quote, play well with others. But deep down some part of her she refused to admit was glad she had at least run into someone she knew. Someone who was her equal in so many aspects and not one of these...primitives. She curled up a set distance away to sleep, ignoring her order to keep watch. The Bloodied one was still awake anyway.

Frostridge rose to consciousness swiftly, the sound of a bird waking her. Morning had come once again, and she stretched. her body felt much more rested, if not perhaps entirely a hundred percent once more, but much better then she had felt in a long while. The morning sun was beginning to dry the dew-soaked grass, and she could feel the familiar thrum as her deprived tech began to absorb the solar energy. Everyone appeared to still be asleep. She trotted with ghost-like steps to the fallen kill, the meat beginning to spoil slightly, not that her stomach couldn't handle it. She ate vigorously, feeling rejuvenated. Her body now fed, she decided to distance herself for her usual morning ritual of absorbing the morning rays to resupply her reserves. There was much that had to be done today; interrogate the two sudden arrivals, locate their missing pack members, prepare for the journey ahead. And also, locate her precious Chain-Fang. She felt vulnerable without it, the familiar weight of it at her shoulder. She found the tall rock she had spied before and with a graceful coiled leap, scrambled to to the top, lounging on its smooth surface and letting the breeze ruffle her fur. Hopefully she would be able to finish her session without catching the eye of anyone nearby. Her markings seemed to pulse pleasantly as they hummed with renewed energy. It was these moments she felt at her best, tasting the morning air...

Ember had stayed up most of the night, but sleep had crept upon her and she slowly fell asleep, though all her other senses kept alert and watched the other wolves along with the male. She had a feeling that Marta would not keep a watch so her senses doubled a little, but her whole body rested. She loved the fact that she could be a light sleeper for things like this.
Soon morning came upon them, but Ember refused to get up and move, even though she was an early riser...mostly because she would move to find shade so that the sun couldn't get the chance to dry her pelt. But she was by water so Ember had no worries.
Her ears twitched when she her one of the wolfs blood pump a little more strongly through their body, she knew one of them was awake. With a quick sniff she confirmed that it was Frost who was awake. Lifting up her head slightly she watched as the wolf ate a little of the deer and then run off to a large rock outcropping. With sudden curiosity she watched closely and saw that the wolf was glowing a little as she faced the sun. As she watched the wheels started to turn and she slowly pieced it together. Frost rejuvenates her human parts with the sun light?
Completely forgetting that she was lying right next to Rail she continued to watched the white wolf. It fascinated her how the wolf rejuvenated herself, all Ember had to do was find water, or a recently fresh killed animal, and that could be hard sometimes.

With a yawn Rail woke up and stretched. He had had a good rest. Sitting down he looked at the half asleep pack. Wagging his tail lightly he smiled to Ember "Well good morning cutie." With that he got up and went to pick at the elk corpse until his loyal little pet arrived. Colt was on his way back already, the madness of the corruption clinging onto the mental life Rail gave it. It flew through the air with the look the corruption changed it to. Once Rail noticed the bird on its way down he stood his ground and threw an invisible rope to the creature. The bird squawked and screeched loudly as the mental connection over took its young mind. Landing it looked up to it's master and waited to be invited to food.

Ember jumped when Rail spoke, she had completely forgotten. "Uh...morning." She grumbled a little. Taking her gaze away from Frost she too got up and went over to the deer. It still had a lot of meat on it that was left, so she went to the opposite side of Rail and began to eat at the food, while focusing on Rail. That way if he were to move she would know.
Looking up at the sky quickly as she heard another heart beat, she soon realized it was the bird. She growled lightly at it as it came back to Rail, it seemed to obey him a lot. With another grumble she ate a little bit more before deciding that it was enough for her today. Her tongue licked over her paws and muzzle as she waited for Rail to finish. She hoped the others would wake soon, so that they could figure out what they needed to do.
Sure it would be nice to stay here, but the deer won't last long for them and then need to find Kuro and Streak. A frown came to her face, they had been missing for a very long time, she hope they were okay. Ember knew that Bullet was missing Kuro, he was in fact her love...or mate as you call it.

[[just an fyi to everyone. Rail had a deceptive ability due to the fact he was bred as an unseen guard dog. he puts the image of the white feathers and a more 'normal' look to Colt. Whether your wolf see the white bird or the altered side is up to you individually. He thinks the bird turns to its natural state while under his control but its just the deception power and how his mind remembing the bird as it was. Altered form would have twisted horns larger wings and whatever your minds comes up with. The corruption turned him a grey/black color due to the fact he doesn't clean his feathers or anything.]] Rail bit off a small chuck of the rotten meat knowing Colt would like it better. He walked over the water for a quick drink before coming back and laying behind Colt as it ate. "So is this where you all live? or just passing through?" he asked Ember who clearly was enjoying her watch duties.

Thorn awoke silently as the smell of warm earth reached her nose telling her that it was morning. She didn't move and didn't open her eyes. At least not yet. This was a habit of hers. To lie and listen to her surounding for a while before she desided to fully get up. She could hear that, so far, only 3 wolves were awake. And there was a small animal close to one of them. Must be a bird from the ruffling of its feathers. Thorn took another sniff. It was not long morning and the other wolves would be waking up soon. She then decided to get up and she silently padded over to the dead animal that these wolves had been feeding on. She walked over to the deer with her head low but her tail high. Curious as to what a deer actually tasted like. She sniffed it then decided to take her first bite. She still wasn't sure as to how everyone would react to her. The wolves that had so far woken up had chosen to ignore her. Probably due to scenting Bullet on her. As she ate some of the deer she decided that she liked it. It made her feel strong. [Thorn was abandoned by her perents due to her sister's "condition" and since she is only 1 year old (and her sister isn't with her anymore) she has been living off of small animals. So at the moment everything is new to her and she doesn't quite know how to act around the pack.]

Ember had seen the deformed looked of the altered bird from afar, but as soon as it had gotten near Rail it was that original white color again. When he asked if they were actually living here or passing through she smiled a little, "Yeah we're just passing through, not living here. We're trying to find the right place, but so far everywhere else we've gone to has been dead or desert. Or just not enough."
Her ears twitched when she head another's blood pulse and looked to see that the new wolf Thorn was now awake. Ember came back up closer to the food, "Good morning Thorn, did you have a good rest?" She asked sweetly. Now if the wolf had been rude to her, she would be talking in a cold tone.

Thorn looked up at Ember as she said good morning. She noticed the kind tone to her voice. She liked this wolf. She seemed genuinly kind and she seemed to care about her pack mates. "Good morning, Ember. I slept quite good. How about yourself?" She glanced at he wolf with the bird. "And also what's everyones names?"
