:: D dashed through the halls into a lobby the size of many full scale buildings. The floors and pillars were white marble, and the beautiful furniture was all white Corinthian leather. The lobby open and spacious, with 4 information desks, one on each major structural wall. The moment the door shut behind the duo clearly transparent hologram of an angel appeared before the two it was a female dressed in a white suit an--
D didnt even give her a chance to speak before bursting right through and past her toward the elevators in the center of the lobby.
He nearly trimmed on the frindge of the white and gold trimmed persia rug, but he caught himself on one of the nearby pillars and spun around nearly clothesling an angel that was simply walking by.::
Sorry!
::He shouted back before skidding into the elevator panel finger first and slamming the call elevator button. Immediately there was a "Ding", and the doors opened. What kind of Heaven would it be if you had to wait for elevators to come to you? Not this kind!
D rushed into the elevator, giving Ruu all of 3 seconds before rapidly pressing the S button on the control panel like it was the last thing he'd ever do. And the elevator started moving...slowly, the elevator rose, and rose, and after a minute or two the stone wall which was once of the view out the front of the glass elevator door, was now a growing view of the city...and the mountains...and the plains...as the elevator continued to climb. And D, quietly gazed out of it, again as if mesmerized by the view, and then turned back to Ruu.::
Me and Big Brudda used to live on the S floor! S is for all the cool people like you, or like big brudda, or like mishtewr Joshua!

Just as it was back out in the streets, Ruuvan was able to follow the hulking suit of armour with ease, weaving in and out of the trail of confusion D left behind with ease. Hell, one of the angels who lost her balance would feel nothing but a brush of air underneath as she returned to an upright position; it was good to be fast.
Sliding into the elevator with a whole second to spare, the doors closing behind as he got in, Ruuvan turned around so he too was facing out of the lift as they began to ascend. Heaven was beautiful when walking through the streets and on the train, but seeing it from this high was something he would never forget; rolling hills, pristine mountains in the distance, every little thing reminding him of how good things really were. "S for super?" He had lightened up a hell of a lot in these past few days, a small joke with a tint of childish humour being the proof of that.

S for...for...hmmm...
:: D was now deep in thought. Ruuvan had done the evil deed of asking D a question that would wholly enrapture his mind. His arms folded across his chest and tapped his chin. It was in that deep thought that D remembered that they werent actually here for him, or his big brudder they were here for Ruuvan and his lost friend.
D turned to Ruuvan with a slightly cocked head and said.::
Do ya see anywhewre you fwiend might be?

Well now that was a good question. Here they were in the perfect position to see all of Heaven and Ruuvan had completely forgotten to take the time to take it all in, but where would Maximos be? Firstly he had to assume Max thought he was going to hell, what with the whole Destroyer thing and killing lots of people, but since saving Aria, an entire world mind, it was obvious he was coming here. Then take into account the fact Max never liked to stay in the same place for too long, even though he was stuck in Heaven for all eternity, he'd most likely be attempting to find a way back, unless he'd given up by now of course. "He could be anywhere, it's a big place."
Once again entering delving into his mind for memories of his friend, Ruu looked out to the open plains and sighed heavily, "Unless there's a place for him to 'visit' life again, I'd think he's somewhere finding his inner peace or looking for his family... I don't know." Just then his heart fell, thinking for a moment that he'd never find him. A quick mental slap was all that was needed to remove that train of thought, a smile cropping back to his face, "But we're in this place now, we might as well try to find Big Brother for you, hm?"

Ok!
:: D took a triumphant fist shaking pose.::
And then after we find 'em, then we can search aaaaaaaaalll around.
::Yes, because the world is always exactly as simple as it sounds in the mind of a child. You just want anything bad enough and its yours for the taking...right? Well there really was no telling D otherwise.
The elevator came to a stop with a ding, as the doors slid open revealing a beautiful hallway that seemed it would be home to only the most famous of famous peoples. A beautiful white and gold carpet, spotless walls, their were doors which seemed something like apartment doors, except by their spacing they were so far apart the rooms inside must have been extremely spacious. D, didnt take off running but began walking down the hall, this time meaning to walk beside Ruuvan as he made his way down.::
Whewre did your fwiend live when he was awive?

The hype seemed to have left D; maybe it was the thinking he was doing, maybe it was the nervous anxiety of possibly seeing Bro again, but this time he was able to walk along side without having to run to catch up.
As far as where Maximos lived went, Ruuvan really had no idea. That's not to say he couldn't remember where he used to hang around, that part was easy: Leviathan Staidum. "There was a stadium back on Gaia that he was always at." Ruu laughed slightly, remember all the good times the two had shared whilst Max was alive, "We'd meet up, talk about what had been going on and then we'd have a fight. I can remember each one as if it had just happened, they were unforgettable." Then something clicked, as if someone had turned a light on in his brain to remind him of that fact, "Do you know if there's a staidum here?" Even if D didn't know what a stadium was, the fact Ruu talked about having fights might've reminded him as to a place he used to go to watch them.

Dhe hall of champinons!
::Yes, he slaughtered the life clean out of the word and served it up for a feast of horrible grammar. BUT, he did take his one again triumphant pose::
People have fights, and foods, and stuffs! We can check thewre next!
::The Hall of Champinons ahem...champions....was a huge colesseum to the far north. Ruuvan likely didnt see it because it was behind the building they were in. But the fact that it existed at all was encouraging enough! But as the walk down the large hall continued D grew seemingly more introverted, quieter and such, his eyes scanning the doors until he finally came to a stop in front of one. A rather large door, and gently placed his hand on the doorknob with an audible "gulp", and a bit of a shake in his palm.
The door cliced as if unlocking the moment he touched the doorknob, it was like it remembered him. And gently he slid the door open. It was a surprisingly vast apartment. It had a wonderful view, and the walls and floors were decorated nicely enough...but it was mostly empty. It was devoid of the things that give a living facility life. No knick knacks hanging around, no inside plants, the furniture even looked like it was never sat on. There wasnt even the natural scent of simply having someone eat here. But, by D's reaction, this was the place.::
B-big brudder...?
:: D called out to the empty room, with nothing but an echo to answer his call. Cautiously he stepped forward.::
---
Of course Sir Joshua.
::And in an instant Walter came forth with a full sub full of various meats and cheeses and such. Because people Walter has really good ears and people just dont go hungry on his watch.::

Ruuvan held back a laugh as D shouted out murderised versions of the words, allowing only a smile to creep onto his face temporarily as they continued down the hall. It did sound like the sort of place Max would be, participating and watching as he used to do in Leviathan; he just wanted to see him again. With his hope reassured and a calm coming into his mind again, he followed D to the door.
It was strange to see him so quiet in something, hell even when he was sleeping he wasn't silent, but he figured it was due to their long time apart and the whole brotherly-ness of it all. So, as D entered the room and looked about, Ruuvan would follow with his own elemengal eyes peeled for anything... anything at all.

Joshua looked up, and suddenly Walter was there, where there had been no Walter before.
"Damn, Walter..." he said, "that's creepy. Has anyone ever told you you're creepy? You're creepy Walter."
There was a brief pause.
"I like it."
Unfortunately, he couldn't eat the sandwitch, because he didn't want to put down the lifelines in his hands. Walter could rest assured, however, that the sandwitch would be gone roughly 57 seconds after Joshua was done with what he was doing.

:: D stepped in a bit deeper to the center of the living room. There was a table, and a set of couches surrounding it. The living room was clearly meant to be the center room because there was a room to the right, and to the left of it. Ruuvans elemengal eye would probably pick up the total lack of dust in the room. Then there was a sound! The sound of something sliding against wood and falling with a slight rattle against the wooden floor. D jumped a good two feet straight up, letting a "EEEP!", and landing with two loud bangs, as plate mail struck wood. And just as his feet hit the ground they sprung into action scurring to the right toward shut door. And immediately flinging it open as he shouted.:: Big brudder! ::But unfortunately, there was no one in the room. There was a bed, and even a desk with a little pencil beside it. But there was no one in the room. D had found the source of the noise. It was an object that had slipped from beside the desk and falling to he ground. He lifted it up to show Ruuvan.:: Dhis was big brudders, I cant bewieve he left it...it musta fallen. ::A four foot long zatoichi in a black sheath, made of dark ebony. And with an unmistakable insignia on the sheath. The sort of insignia Ruuvan might recognize from his own twin blades...the Decker brand. As in Dante Decker. The question was, while it had been a while...would he remember the sword?:: --- ::Walter nodded just before slipping out the room, responding with a simple.:: Yes Sir, I sure am.::And then vanishing into the halls. A simple "Thank you" echoing in the shadows aroud Joshua, as Walter continued on to his duties.::

Further they went and creepier this whole experience felt, not a sign of life in the room and not a spot of dirt to be seen; either Heaven had great cleaning staff or someone wanted to leave no trace behind. Of course, as the sword fell to the floor and caused the plate-clad figure to jump in fight, Ruuvan's hands instinctively went for his blades as he focused on the direction the sound came from.
His hands slowly relaxed as D raised the blade off the ground, Ruu's eyes opening wide as he saw what it was; The Nameless. Maximos' prized possession, this leading him to further believe D was Max's little brother, adopted or otherwise. Reaching out to take the weapon from him, Ruu drew the blade out and scanned the length of it, checking for any sign of recent use. Regardless of what he found, he looked back to D with a smile on his face. "How about we try and return it to its owner?"

::And it was while normall the Nameless would have recieved pristine care by Maximos, something about the aura of the blade showed that he hadnt been around to fix this particular blemish, as a swipe of blood was visible across the width of the blade. It seemed as if it had recently been used to slice something, nearly off. And by the slight white glow on the hilt, it seemed a hand that was not Maximos's had returned the blade.
Perhaps that would explain the slight red discoloration in the wood around the desk. Though it was hard to tell what exactly that was.::
O k!
: biggrin shouted, in responce to Ruuvas most positive idea. As he looked so very triumphant and flung his fist into the air, D couldnt exactly walk out the door with Ruu standing there so he tried his best to squeeze past him and make his way to the d--
He stopped cold as he stared at the door. A figure stood at the door, that they had likely hoped never would. A black cloaked and hooded figure, with the top half of its face completely masked in a shroud of black. The figure held a yet black scythe and stared most ominiously at D and Ruu. It was something they had likely hoped they'd never meet...a Reaper.
It spoke, its voice cold and dead, emotionless.::
Ruuvan Lassenger, Symbiotic Detattachment D, you are found in violation of the laws of life and death. Your spirits have been prematurely freed and will be harvested and taken for processing and judgement.
::Would they stay? Would they retreat? D was paralyzed with fear and Ruuvan would find the decision resting soley in his hands. They could likely call Joshua for a retreat, but the answer was here...he had found proof Maximos was here, but not anymore, the answer as to where he is had to be here...the question was where? And would he survive long enough to find out.
A question that needed an answer immediately, as there was a Reaper stepping forward and sending his 6ft long scythe, with its 4ft long curved blade vertically at his head::

Someone else had handled the blade? Maximos had neglected to clean the blood from it? Something was definitely up with this whole thing and Ruu wanted to know what was going on. So, turning towards the door, he too froze as they saw the deadly being.
With the Reaper now standing in the doorway, there was little to no brain activity within the Elf as he stared down the scythe and general doom'n'gloom of their foe. He didn't know what was going to be tangible and what wasn't, but even if he managed to stop the scythe the blade was four feet long and would easily reach him. So, having only Maximos' weapon ready, Ruu quickly sidestepped the path of the weapon and lowered his stance; this was going to be tricky, what with Reapers being stupidly fast as it was, but he was faster.
In one fluid movement, having moved and crouched out of the danger zone, Ruuvan drew The Nameless with ease and slashed it in an upwards arc through the body of the Reaper. Maybe there would be more, maybe there wouldn't, but they had to deal with this one first.

:: A scythe is two weapons in one. A blade and a staff. While the blade fell, Ruuvan's slash did not go unnoticed, a tilt of the reapers left arm, and the staff moved into position to stop the oncoming blade early in its swing, not more than a foot off the ground. The nameless sinking into the wooden staff of the scythe with a "c***k". In the same fluid motion which turned the staff the Reaper, swung the scythe again, aiming to behead Ruuvan. There was no grunt, the being didnt even seem to be placing real effort into this, or maybe it was a master at hiding it. But it very keenly guarded the door, and attacked.
Meanwhile, something became audible in the hall especially to a set of elven ears. Footsteps, 3 sets, each marching in cue, each seemingly of similar wieght, and wearing matching boots....reinforcements.::
