Duo yelped and whirled when Oyumi grabbed his shoulder, his heart racing. He'd at least managed to not go with the reaction of 'hit first, ask later'. "s**t, Oyumi! Scare th' hell outta me!" He sighed, willing his heart to slow down...and reaching a hand into his hood to try and coax Zat out of his braid. "Nice t' see ya, too. Glad t' see ya around, though." He nodded to Fuutarou, glad to see Oyumi's ever-present shadow. And then he eyed the Murkrow perched on Hissy Cow. Oh great...of course it would find the one person inclined to wearing 'shiny things' even in her cold-weather clothing.

Saddened by Dora's less-than-excited response, Parthenius tucked her tail low and ran off. She'd planned to return to Arwen but was suddenly blinded and unable to find her way. Unbeknownst to her, she had crashed into a heavy cloak and was beginning to tangle herself in it.

Parthenius gave a startled yelp when she realized she was floating in the air, and she kicked her legs in a futile attempt to regain control of where her body was going.

She backed away when she was set down, wary, and ended up bumping into a set of ankles behind her. After ensuring they were human feet, she wound around them until she'd sat on the shoe and hidden a part of herself behind a leg, after which she poked her nose out the side to glance up at the large Mewtwo.

"<W-what did you do?>" she asked, trying (and failing) to sound brave.

As the Teddiursa came close, Shaun snapped a few quick pictures of the pokemon drooling at Salvo's fruit. Then the pokemon was distracted by something else and waddled off again. He lowered the camera and commented to George, "It certainly does seem a friendly thing. It'll probably make a good companion to someone. As long as they keep it well fed," he added with a chuckle.

Shaun also listened in on George talking about his Poochyena, and leaned down to look at the marking. "That's a rather intricate marking, it must be hard to breed for," he commented. "His other markings are very striking, you must be very dedicated breeders. Do you mind if I take a picture of him?"

To Sunny he said, "Yeah, Prof. Birch showed me a lot about studying pokemon in their natural habitat. Though he did most of the studying, I preferred to get pictures to add to his notes."

George smiled looking at Osmond, "Well I guess my name is at least familiar to you which means you are an officer. I am kind of on the job, I am being paid to come out here and make sure the trainers are safe." He looked around, "If everyone ends up staying together like this. My job is going to be really easy. Plus I might find another partner to help me out, I doubt I could use the big one up there everyday"

Tyr smiled at Marlo, Tyr sat there waiting for Shaun to take his picture, he didn't understand why he wanted his picture but he didn't mind.

George nods his head at Shaun, "Sure go for it. I don't mind and it doesn't look like Tyr does either."

He looked over at Sunny but was talking to Sunny and Shaun about his family, "Yea, my family is mostly breeders and officers. We have our own business just outside of Motterosa. I think they just stumbled across the symbol and kept it as their seal. I am not too into the breeding but you can get all kinds of designs if you know what you are doing when breeding.

"Thanks," Shaun said to George, then proceeded to photograph Tyr. Since the Poocheyna was willing to pose, he took his time lining up shots, focusing carefully and shifting a few times to get pictures from slightly different angles. He made sure to get a clear picture of the forehead marking. Once he was done, he pulled out his notebook and jotted down the date, pokemon's species and name, and that it was bred specially by the family of George Frost of Motterossa.

As he tucked the notebook away, he asked George, "So you're an officer as well? Does your family primarily breed Poochyenas for police work, then? Or are they bred for some other purpose or qualities, and police work just happens to be what you're training yours for?"

Osmond grinned sheepishly and scratched the underside of his head. He followed with a chuckle, a little embarrassed to explain where he heard Frost from. "Err, yea, I've heard of you," the officer said. "My boss -- the chief of police in Motterosa -- has got an open mouth. Likes talking about everyone and is always saying harsh crud. Eh, I don't listen though. He's such a grump, he doesn't even have good things to say about himself. Working, eh? I'm off duty. My woman persuaded me to take a vacation." The officer's mind ran on Cetus for a moment and, somewhere on Carona Coast, the Galactic grunt sneezed.

"Eh, someone must be talking about me . . . " she murmured.

Marlo flailed happily. "" he whined. ""

George nodded to Shaun as he was snapping pictures of Tyr, "I am an officer and at the same time I am not. I am a Private Investigator, so I work for clients who need my help. Sometimes that is the police department though."

He motioned to Osmond, "Which is what the chief has a problem with. A lot of my family is in the force and I am one of the few that aren't yet I am good at my job. He doesn't like the fact that I am not part of the force." To which he just shrugged, "He's a good guy but he is a bit of a grump. But it is good to get some R and R but I am not sure how much you can relax or rest here."

"As for the breeders in the family, they primarily breed Growlithes and Poochyenas. I have a Growlithe at home but I just got Tyr here so I wanted some bonding time with him. Also train him some and really get to know him. I figured this was a great way to do it." He smiled and nodded as he pet Tyr after Shaun was done taking pictures of him.

Tyr smiled, His tail was wagging from getting pet and seeing that he had a good human as a friend.
